This is such a cool spot to check out. They have really great deals and so much cool stuff to look at.

Junkee Clothes Exchange is one of those places where you can spend hours and still feel like you've only scratched the surface. It's like playing dress-up for grown-ups, truly a vintage clothing lover's dream with costumes, retro dresses, funky hats, jewelry, and more. I recently discovered their upstairs area and it's packed with antiques, so every corner feels like a treasure chest waiting to be opened. On my last visit I scored a couple of vintage hats and the perfect necklace to go with my pink 1950's swing dress (seriously, it was meant to be). The employees are all super friendly and genuinely helpful, which makes shopping here even more fun. I also love their new location inside The Reno Public Market; it makes the whole experience a day out. You can shop for vintage finds at Junkee's, then walk right over for coffee, cocktails, or grab a bite from one of the many food vendors all under the same roof! If you love thrifting, vintage fashion, or just the thrill of finding something totally unique, Junkee's is a must in Reno! Plus, it won't break the bank either. My hats each were around 8 dollars and my cute necklace was 6 bucks!! See you there!!

1 of 2 reviews. Quality/Quantity - What a fun place to visit. I will come back for my next theme party that I attend! We have been coming to RPM (Reno Public Market) since they opened and never have taken the time to come in. So glad I did. Also visited Uncle Junkee, see my pictures in my RPM review. Atmosphere - Cool business, see pictures. Decent size, 5000 square feet. Two floors. Both new and used merchandise. Open 7 days a week from 11am to 7pm. Plenty of mall parking. Service - Self service. Price - Reasonably priced. Also depends if you buy new or used. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2008. Looking forward to my next themed party. Yelp?!?!

Ok. I finally visited the new place in the Reno public market. Bizarre ? No- this place is great for the thrift shop kings and queens out there . I will say it's a treasure . You can find anything for Rock bottom prices. It's eclectic - it's wonderful to walk though and see the things you may want and need - at a very reasonable price. Easy parking, very nice staff- the men's section is small - but who shops ? Women - not men. I did get a pair of cammo pants to work out in the yard - the pants dit great lots of pockets and is durable. - fro 12.99$ a win for me . If you need something for Halloween, a theme party - or a pair of pants and a jacket , it's giving an opportunity to new and gently worn clothing a chance to hep you. I'll be back

If you love thrifting, this is the king of all thrift stores! Located inside a packing house in Reno, this place is an absolute goldmine for arts and crafts, costumes for every occasion, and some of the wildest clothing finds you can imagine. One minute you're looking at a vintage suit, the next you're holding a funky, one-of-a-kind jacket straight out of the '80s. The selection is massive, and half the fun is just wandering through and seeing what crazy treasures you'll uncover. Whether you need a Halloween outfit, unique fabric for a project, or just a cool thrifted shirt, this place has it all. The space itself is just as quirky and fun as the items inside, making it more of an experience than just a shopping trip.

Visiting family and love to shop antique and thrift stores. Tic toc recommended JCE so Gave it a go Its in an Public Market so Can definitely enjoy surrounding business. Large selection of women's clothing costume jewelry and costumes. New and worn reasonable prices and not so much. Small men's selection especially shoes. But worth the visit . Faye was working the dressing room and was extremely helpful and patient. I found a Pair of tux pants for 16.00 that I did not even know I needed. Text Their number and get a nice Reusable bag. Upstairs has house wares a bit small section but nice mixture. Give JCE a visit it's worth your time especially for clothes. Thanks Faye you were awesome

Located in the Reno Public Market, this consignment store was so fun to walk through!! The costumes, accessories and variety of clothes and shoes were plentiful! I feel like I would come here more for costume party needs over everyday wear, but it's worth stopping in if you're having a bite to eat in while in the RPM.

I love Junkee and I have been an active shopper since it opened! My most favorite event was the Thanksgiving Junkee bus mystery shopping tour. The best fun you could ever have on a Black Friday!! I know Jessica gave up her family holidays to take her dedicated customers on a locals shopping journey to be remember and help out local businesses instead of people shopping at big box stores!!! Anyway, I went to the new Junkee location at the Reno Public Market, if you haven't been yet, you're missing out. I want to take a moment to thank the staff for helping me with my pirate costume- yes, for Nigel's Party! I think 6 people were there the day I came in looking for a shirt to match a skirt I bought in Sacramento! The staff are awesome found me a Perfect Shirt along with a coin belt aka necklace and cute matching bracelets. I promised you a photo! Keep up all the great work you do!!

My daughter and I checked out the new location at Reno Public Market and, while we miss the mid-town location and vibe, we are big Junkee fans and are glad they found another space. The new location feels smaller but the decor and availability of quirky, cool clothing reminds you this is still Junkee. We ventured upstairs where the antiques section is located and it feels a bit more organized - different vendors have their own little spaces. I liked the fun band poster section and the "western" sections. And the different, mismatched flooring makes it feel like they are trying to maintain the aesthetic of the former location.

The new location is central to so many things in town. Bars, food, cars, church, groceries. Smack dab in the middle of it all. It's also inside a mall in its own right. Upon walking in, you're hit with a sensory feast. There is so much to look at from the wildly varied clothing to the insane works of art on the wall, to the moving sculptures and nicknacs. You might not find what you're looking for but you'll find something you weren't. There's tons of mini deals, and you'll always find something that tickles your brain until you'll buy it. Sometimes, it's just that hard to walk away. As for the service, it's a mixed bag. A lot of the younger staff will dress up or come fully kit to help customers and be cheerful and apart of the experience. Some of the other staff seem to eye you wearily as if you're just going to grab a shelf full of items and run off. One of the older members kept following close behind me as I browsed, making me feel a bit perturbed to be looking at anything. Overall, it's a very Reno experience, and I'd recommend anyone just wanting to find that special piece -shirt-shoes-table cloth-old fashion rotary phone- for that special occasion or another item to display in their collection.

Kidney table offered at a great price!

    Yes

Do they have colored contacts here?

Do you allow returns for store credit?

My experience was no- I purchased an acrylic fibre sweater and once I got it home I realized it was shedding EVERYWHERE tiny little particles from the sweater and they were basically impossible to get off anything they landed on. I went back that… Read more
