Super cozy and fun space for drinks and bites. I love that they have a covered patio in the back with a LOT of seating. The loaded tots were amazing--we devoured them while sipping on some beers.

Threes Brewing nails it: great space, great beer, and a backyard that's tough to beat. The backyard is easily one of my favorite places to hang out. It's relaxed, spacious, and perfect for kicking back with friends. Their beer list is always strong. Recently, I enjoyed Don't Blink, a crisp West Coast Pilsner that hit the spot. Pairing it with Grand Army South's loaded crab fries was the perfect way to start the weekend. What I love most is how much they offer beyond just the beer from great food partners to events to atmosphere that works for both a casual afternoon or a lively night out. The staff always keeps things friendly and easygoing, which makes the space feel really welcoming. Whether you're a craft beer fan or just looking for a great place to spend an afternoon, Threes delivers.

Food in the front of the brewery. Separate tab and ordering system than the bar.

Staff is always great here my husband and I have been here before! They will answer any questions you have about any of their brews. I didn't take any pics of our food because we inhaled it but service was super awesome there too! It's busy on Saturdays so plan ahead to grab a table and have someone group order drinks or food or you might be waiting a while to get open seats. It's quieter in the outer tent area for seating but inside is spacious. Attached are current beer and food menus! Food is paid for and ordered separate from the bar. Looking forward to checking them out again soon!

A lovely spot for a pre-game brew, given how close it is to Barclays Center -- the outdoor patio is lovely, they have a large beer list and non-beer options. The food gets busy so would order as soon as you walk in!

Turns out the Gowanus Neighborhood has a TON of breweries in New York. The next one on my stops was Threes Brewing. Threes Brewing is a Brooklyn-based brewery and brewpub with multiple locations that serves a variety of beers, including lagers, ales, and mixed culture beers. I had a couple small pours while sitting in a booth. Sadly, their food offering wasn't up yet, but the menu looks killer. Threes Brewing is a craft brewery that opened in Brooklyn, New York in December 2014. It was founded by business partners Justin Israelson, Josh Stylman and Andrew Unterberg. Israelson is the owner of Sycamore: a craft beer bar and flower shop in Brooklyn's Flatbush neighborhood. He partnered with Stylman, a tech entrepreneur, for the possibility of opening a brewery that would double as a community hub and event space. Unterberg, a lawyer and playwright, also came on board for the project. Greg Doroski, a former brewer for Greenport Harbor Brewing, was hired as the brewmaster. The name 'Threes' was chosen to reflect the three partners and the fact that their address was 333 Douglass Street in Brooklyn's Gowanus neighborhood. In addition to being a brewery, Threes also operates as a coffee shop (with coffee provided by East Village-based Ninth Street Espresso) and beer shop by day. At night, the location transforms into a brewpub, beer garden and music venue dubbed 'Tiny Montgomery'. The on-site kitchen is currently operated as a satellite location for Boerum Hill-based restaurant Grand Army. Threes opened a secondary taproom in Greenpoint in 2017, a seasonal outpost on Governors Island in 2019, a beer shop and taproom in Huntington, Long Island in 2021, and a beer shop at Manhattan's Moynihan Train Hall in 2022. I recently visited Threes Brewing's Gowanus flagship location while I was cycling around NYC. I was trying out a number of Brooklyn breweries and pizzerias and this was my second stop of the day. I arrived earlier in the day, so the main bar and beer garden weren't open yet. Fortunately, the coffee shop and beer shop were open upstairs. A small bar is located in the beer shop, although the draft list isn't as extensive as the one in the main bar. I started out with a draft pour of "Synapses Bloom" (Wine Barrel-Aged Saison w/ Rose Petals & Pink Peppercorns; collab with Allagash Brewing). This offering was very complex with nice sour notes. I followed it up with "DDH SFY" (Double Dry-Hopped Hazy Double IPA). It had delicious tropical fruit notes. Overall, I was impressed with my visit to Threes. I would love to come back when the main bar and beer garden are open, as well as visit some of their secondary locations.

Came by on a whim while bar hopping in the park slope/Gowanus neighborhood. This spot is SO cute with tons of beer and non-beer options. We loved the vibes and the staff were so nice. Highly recommend for a chill night out or a stop on a bar crawl!

Having moved here form the west coast, I was missing all the breweries, but Threes definitely hit the stop. It's a nice space with solidly good beer. We also had the kaarage cauliflower, the herbed fries and the kale salad. Both kale salad and fries were GREAT, the cauliflower with a bit meh (the batter?). Overall, nice spot and I'll definitely be back!

What an awesome brewery. This brewery has three locations. 2 in brooklyn and one in Moynihan train station. If you like laidback and chill environment this brewery should be on your list. I was here for a beer festival so I got to try many different beers but Threes has alot of awesome beers they make themselves! This brewery has an outdoor space which is perfect for nice summer evenings to catch up with friends while enjoying wonderful brews. I did not try any food here but from what I have tried it's all good stuff. They also have a front part area to enjoy drinks at. I highly recommend this spot.

Don't recommend their Caesar salad. Big portion with lots of chicken (at additional cost) but very salty.

This is a classy bar. They also serve foods. I have been here multiple times and I'm always in awe how fast the bartender is. I can't really comment on how delicious the beer is because I don't drink alcohol. However, I had never waited too long for them to serve me. The backyard is their selling point. We had 20 plus people in our group and Threes Brewing allowed us to conjugate in the back. I think they are known for their burgers. I noticed a lot of customers ordered that item last night.

Great space. Very good beer. It can definitely get crowded. Our server seemed overwhelmed at times.

Great atmosphere, great beer! However, it would behoove the bartenders and the managers to treat their customers with a little respect!

However, I'm almost finished with my lunch and answer no thanks, only for the employee to say in a huff, "Well, next time you should buy something if you want to use our seating." While I understand that as your business, you have the right to do this, it really just comes off as rude and condescending, turning what would've been a nonexistent interaction into a negative one that has completely soured my attitude toward this establishment. Considering that this establishment had roughly a dozen tables and 24 seats with only 4 seats or so occupied when I was around and I wasn't interfering with business on a slow afternoon, there shouldn't have been a problem with simply letting bygones be bygones. If this is what New Yorkers consider hospitality and acceptable behavior, no wonder people from most other states consider the population to be rude.
