Okay Venue In Need of Updating. I'm mainly here to review the county fair, but I have been to…read moreseveral events here, and the only thing the fairgrounds need is updates to the buildings, they are very very old and in some cases, in need of repair. About the County Fair: Not everyone is going to like a particular county fair, and some are more eventful than others, I would rate this above average for a count fair, and I've been to around 10 different ones in Oregon, even to the tiny Morrow County Fair, which I loved btw. First, Any mention of tigers, registrants, etc, are nothing to do with the county fair itself. A caged tiger is NOT animal abuse anymore than a caged butterfly, that's absurd. You do realize most tigers in existence are only captive bred, and it is because of this, we can still see this marvelous species, particular White Tigers which no longer even exist in the wild. These tigers used in a zoo or show or exibhit are not wild, they are captive bred, and have been, in most cases for well over a hundred years. Unfortunately this is not what some ill-informed ppl would have you believe. If they were being wild caught for anything other than rehabilitation, maybe, but they're not wild. It is not anymore child abuse than keeping a cat, dog, reptile, or hampster. Some animal rights activist are against that as well btw they just don't b usually say it, and rating a fair 1 star when the tiger want at the actual fair, r is duplicitous and deceptive when the fair is based around livestock and other animal exhibits which havn't been wild either, it's ridiculous, you don't have to like it, but it is not prison, slavery, genocide, or abuse. Two, I've been to this fair 5 times and it is one of the better county fairs in Oregon, it is a relatively fun fair, and I didn't have to pay for concerts, at least not the ones before vthe "main attraction", no idea what ppl are talking about. Stop making everying about politics, and being silly. it's a fair, it is not more expensive than other county fairs, minus really tiny ones, like Morrow County, I would know, I've been there. Third, the food is fairly priced, and I have enjoyed it, there are good selections for a smaller fair, and for fair food, things are not exorbitant in cost. 4, I don't know what people expect, maybe they haven't been to many small county fairs? I have been to many in Oregon, and the Marion County fair from where I'm from, is not much better, and Marion is a MUCH larger county. Douglas county on the other hand is smaller and has a fabulous county fair; probably the best county fair in Oregon. Benton County is a decent fair and I enjoy it every time I go. ~Amy

But definitely get the car seats covered so you don't transfer paint. I'd also suggest if it's cold outside, or quite honesty simply for COMFORT, to bring a change of clothes. And go change at Starbucks or something after. We were ALL super cold on the ride home. I think that you definitely don't need as much time as you're allotted as you run out of paint FAST. And we used every last drop!!! It was an EPIC family fun afternoon. Hotel Corvallis is a mid-century motel, tastefully-remodeled travel hotel, with upscale fixtures and, literally, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. So good that I took a photo of the label. We are buying that same mattress. The rooms have been redone and are spotless, quiet and comfortable. (Did I mention the bed?) No coffee, fridge or microwave, but free coffee at the coffee trailer, and a voucher for a free breakfast at the adjoining diner. (Only the breakfast is free there. Coffee costs you five bucks! But the breakfast is good, unlike most motel fodder.) Incredibly quiet, even though it's located on busy 4th Street, in a spotty area of town. No noise, even when a busload of track students came in. Zero noise. None. Summary: You won't get a better deal in a more convenient location, and if you like fun, clean and quirky, it's your place. The staff are, as advertised, very polite and helpful. I am back in Corvallis next month, and I will be staying at the Hotel Corvallis.

Her turn-around time on getting photos to us after the wedding was very reasonable, and additionally she posted a few 'teaser' photos for folks in the interim to keep requests at bay and grow anticipation. Jaime is friendly, open to new ideas and very flexible, and I would recommend her services to anyone. We also had Jaime do our engagement photos, for which she was willing to travel, met us at three different sites over the course of the morning/early afternoon, and encouraged props/outfit changes/fun poses. She is a ton of fun, and brought everything she needed so that we could take photos anywhere. Best customer service ever.
