We hired this company in September 2025 for a full home remodel and paid about $60k in deposits and progress payments. Throughout the project, we were repeatedly told the home would be move-in ready by mid-November and that a guest bathroom was "usable." When we arrived onsite on Nov 27, we found unsafe and unusable conditions that were later confirmed by two independent licensed GCs, including damage to drywall and paint, tile that had to be removed to access underlying damage, exposed electrical work, plumbing done without permits, and partially constructed areas left unsafe. We later learned the GC was not licensed in Washington State, permits were never pulled, and subcontractors had not been paid despite our payments. Subcontractors contacted us directly about payment and lien concerns. Our insurance claim for resulting property damage was denied due to workmanship exclusions. As of January 2026, the home is still uninhabitable and must be redone by licensed professionals. We're posting this to help others avoid a similar situation.

During the start of the busy summer season I appreciated finding this business whose prices were…read morereasonable and I didn't have to wait months to get started. They completely tore up and redid a poorly done, incomplete, and over budget kitchen countertops and tile project that had been started a few months prior. Kudos to them for being responsive, providing a written estimate, and taking on his redo project. I found some or all of those qualities missing with many of the contractors I contacted. Three sets of people worked on the project on successive days. Because of my prior experience I was a little nervous. I liked that the company had been around for decades with mostly positive reviews. The first person tore up, built and installed new counters. He did a fantastic job and put me at ease. I also found him respectful, communicative when needed, and completed the work at twice the speed of my prior contractor. The second two people installed the tile and did it quickly with attention to making everything right. The final two people grouted and caulked the tile. I wasn't impressed with them and didn't appreciate that they walked away with my hardly used 15 lb. bag of grout without asking me. I did find it odd to have so many people work on one small project but it got the job done. The biggest challenge was communication. It wasn't always timely and my phone number wasn't given out correctly once. This resulted in unexpected delays and people showing up unexpectedly. I also called Mike at the end of the project to tell him about the bag of grout. I never got a call back for over a week. We did resolve it and I listened to his perspective on why it happened, which sounded more like an excuse to me but didn't matter at that point. I would like to give them a 3 1/2 star rating but that's not possible. Four stars seems too much and 3 seems not enough. if I ever used them again I would be careful with the communication and expectations while the job was in progress.
