I went to have my car serviced for a clicking noise in my front end. When I arrived they informed me there would be a $110 diagnostic fee but they didn't tell me this before I got there and had driven 40 minutes to get there. I was upset but really felt this would be covered under warranty and I then wouldn't have to pay the diagnostic charge. But of course they couldn't recreate the noise and found nothing wrong other than the strut boots had come loose and they wanted to charge me to reconnect them even though I feel that is a manufacturing defect but they said that it was my fault because I lowered the car a half inch which is completely ridiculous. So since they were unable to do their job and find the problem I had to pay $116. This is complete bullshit and HIGHLY recommend no one ever using them for anything. My opinion is backed up multiple times by other reviews it just sucks that I wasn't smart enough to read them myself until after I got bent over and screwed as they smiled. Oh yeah and when I sent a message to complain this is what they replied with

I have owned my VW Passat for about 6 months. Love the car and the service is the best I have ever experienced. Oil changes, tire rotation, filter changes, is all included. The showroom and service department are top notch.

so basically f off customer. because we didnt do our job right the first time we're not fixing it so go away lol

This was the worst car buying experience ever! They have no concern for the customer, only the sale. HORRIBLE! Warning: stay away!

When I picked it up, I immediately noticed a new noise that had not been there before. I made multiple attempts to contact the service associate who handled my vehicle but received no response. I eventually had to be put in touch with a manager. Rather than investigating the issue thoroughly, I was told there was "no way of knowing" whether the dealership had caused the problem. Despite my concerns, I was charged for the repair. Unfortunately, the problems didn't stop there. Now there is another issue with the vehicle following that visit and I am being left without responses again. This is especially frustrating because my car has been meticulously maintained since day one. Every service has been documented, the vehicle is only six years old, and it has fewer than 60,000 miles. I take preventative maintenance seriously, which is exactly why I brought it to the dealership for routine service in the first place. I understand that mechanical issues can happen, but I expected better communication, accountability, and customer service. Being ignored by the service advisor, having to seek out management, and then being left with additional problems has been a very disappointing experience. I hope the dealership takes customer concerns more seriously in the future. I would not recommend their service department.

My husband committed suicide 2 years ago and I literally lost everything we had. I walked back and forth to work every single day in the freezing cold save up enough money to buy a car and they knew my situation now I am stuck with a vehicle that does not work and all I get for them is do not text this phone again! These people are not who they portray to be. .. I took it into try and get it fixed myself and they called the auto body shop and told them not to fix it! Lawyers are involved suit has been filed and they will make this right eventually but I will leave it in God's hands as karma will always come back! I lost my job making $80,000 a year and they have basically completely destroyed my life. But little do they know they just made my case that much stronger by calling the auto body shop as they will verify they were told not to deal with me. Justin is a absolutely crook and I do not want to see this happen to anybody else do not buy from these people. I will continue to let the world know what low down dirty people they are. So 11 months after the purchase and 9,153 miles later I receive a call from my service rep. Jacob Verbanec letting me know that in order for my vehicle to pass inspection it needed new exhaust pipes.   At first I thought ok this must have either been covered under the Blue Certification or at the very least the 4,000 dollar warranty I purchased but Jacob informed me that it was not covered by either because it was considered rust and corrosion.    Of course I was not happy and Jacob said let me see what I can do.   It was getting later in the day but he called and told me his Used Car Manager Patrick McIntyre had offered 500 dollars off so that would bring my total bill to a little less than 900 dollars.   Sounds like a good deal to most but remember I spent a ton on warranties for this vehicle.   At that time I agreed and told him to go ahead and fix it but could I talk to Patrick to see if I could possible get more of a monetary assistant.   Jacob told me the vehicle wouldn't be ready till the next day as the parts would be in early Wednesday the 30th so I said ok.   Patrick McIntyre and I talked and he explained that giving me 500 off was the best he could do.   I asked if there was anyone else I could talk to and he told me yes, the General Manager Jeff Schafrer.   Unfortunately this is where the story takes a nose dive.   My conversation with Jeff was nothing like with Jacob or Patrick.   Jeff was instantly defensive and arrogant, showed me absolutely no compassion for the fact that I never in a million years dreamed after all the warranties on this vehicle that in a short 11 months and 9,153 miles this vehicle would even need new exhausts.   I was sitting in traffic and thought whey should I take this from him so I became more like him in the way I spoke back.  He decided that I was nothing but ungrateful and started to threaten to remove the 500 dollars that Patrick had agreed to give me off and at which time I ok'd the repairs on my vehicle.   As he was making me feel belittled and worthless, I absolutely shot back at him and the fact that I had placed my trust and money in the dealership when I purchased the vehicle only for this to happen.   By the end of the conversation after countless times him telling me how ungrateful I was and threatening to remove the 500 dollars off, I answered that there was nothing I could do if he did that.   Later that day Jacob my service advisor contacted me only to tell me that my repair was now 500 dollars more, which again remember I never agreed to at that price.
