TRYP - is centrally located in a very convenient location off Butler Street in Lawrenceville. The…read moreroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. There were blackout curtains so the room was nice and dark. This hotel had a great breakfast for $11. Eggs, delicious potatoes, sausage, or bacon and sourdough toast. I really enjoyed that and so convenient. This hotel has many events going on all the time and it's set up to host any type of party. I definitely stay here again. People were friendly and helpful. And if you need to walk to a local place to eat a meal, there are many options within five minutes of the hotel. They have a rooftop bar to enjoy as well. Several staff members suggested places to eat or see nearby.

I came during the week for a work trip and the hotel was fully booked. The check-in process was a bit slow with long lines. They have a cafe inside the hotel. I was most looking forward to the rooftop that was supposed to have a great view of the city, however, it was still closed for the season. My room itself was pretty small and good for a one night stay. The bed wasn't the most comfy and all the pillows were very thick. I did love the sheet and blanket they had though! I also adored the bathroom layout. Do know they only have a rain shower head. This room had everything I needed for my quick trip and it's in a fantastic location.

I wasn't overly impressed with the dinner, the chicken was too lemon-y and the short rib was too well done for me. The mashed potatoes were amazing and the vegetarian option (ravioli) looked great. Bar service during cocktail hour was slow but went smoothly during the reception. Overall a nice place for a wedding!

To mitigate risk amid COVID, they offered a virtual menu accessed by scanning a bar code with your phone. They have been able to maintain an expansive menu as well, with options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. I tried a new dish for dinner- a veggie pesto tartare. The presentation was stunning and I loved the meal. The bread was toasted yet still soft enough to bite. The pesto and veggies were a perfect savory topping. We also ordered the zucchini planks, which were plentiful on the plate and paired well with the dipping sauces. My friend ordered a veggie wrap that came with a side of fresh fruit, and had nothing but positive things to say about the dish. We both ordered white wine (I had a pinot grigio and she had a riesling) to go with our vegetarian meals. Huge props to the chef, Matt! We loved it all! Our server, Susy, was so nice and accommodating. She was a pleasure to talk to and did a great job serving! We also got to meet Brad, who walked around to each table and chatted with the members (he also recommended the veggie tartare, such a good call). Mark (Sales & Catering Director) gave us a tour of their event space, as we are looking for a venue for a bridal shower. He was great! Very personable and knowledgeable of everything Edgewood has to offer. He gave us a packet of information to go home with. They renovated their main event spaces in early 2020, and we were very impressed with the classy look and feel of each room! Every person we met at Edgewood was friendly and attentive. Between the staff and members we had the chance to meet, I am confident that Edgewood has built a comforting and accepting community. Overall I would highly recommend this club!

They have a pool and feature a lot of events for the kids e.g. movies nights). Keep in mind though that all of these activities are an extra charge in addition to your membership fees. There is a $500 minimum food and beverage requirement every 6 months (Jan-Jun) and (Jul-Dec). There's also a $40 per month service charge for the servers, but that means you don't really need to tip. However, we always leave our server a few extra bucks. I love the ambiance. They are in the process of renovating. We like to eat at the bar or sit on the upstairs covered terrace and enjoy spectacular views of the golf course. The service is always outstanding -- attentive and friendly. Food: Breakfast and lunch are great value. I love their omelettes and some lunch items. Dinner, in my opinion, is not good value. It is pricey and mediocre. However, I love their "make your own pasta" on Wednesdays -$20 which includes a mini buffet of two salads, a soup, pizza, a couple of entrees (e.g. sausage and peppers, meatballs) and dessert. They also do on Thursdays a "Member Appreciation" entree which is also reasonably priced. Recently, we went on a Thursday. My husband got the Member Appreciation entree which was prime rib for $20 and I got the Spots and Crab for $42 (pic attached). All entrees come with choice of soup or salad and two sides. Prime rib was really good. Spot and Crab was okay. I really enjoy the club. It's a good hang and opportunities to get decent value.

The décor at both events has been phenomenal!! The weddings here are also all inclusive. You get everything for 1 price and they have different packages you can choose from.
