This place looks awesome from the outside and after eating some lunch I thought it would be nice to get an espresso from a place called Three Rivers Espresso & Cafe. Since I had a bit of time I decided to walk in and witness the horror. First I walk in and I ask what's special about the espresso since it's in the name. The response is a run down on some lattes. My response was a blank stare and I just said "Uh...ok...I guess I'll just have an espresso..." I wasn't sure what drink I'd end up with. Meanwhile some guy that works there wearing rubber gloves on both hands is on the phone while kinda making this sandwich for this poor lady waiting in the car, and he's dropping more F-bombs than I do when my daughter kicks me in the jangle-dangle with her sharp rubber shoes. As this guy is talking he accidentally knocks a knife off the counter, leans over, picks it up off the floor with his gloved hand and carries on. I mean why would he get a new knife and change his gloves? He's not eating that sandwich. Eventually he gets off the phone, grabs some not fresh ingredients out of some boxes and tosses them on, cuts the sandwich with the dirty knife and finally delivers it to the lady with a big ol smile on his face. Meanwhile I had ordered, received a watery espresso and had already drank it. And it took a little while for me to get my drink. The lady in the drive-thru must have been there at least 15 minutes. All the pastries on display are straight out of a box and still in plastic bags. The tables were dirty and one was covered in discarded newspapers. I wish that you could see the menu from yelp. I would have went here if a menu was available. menus are important so you can take a look at the food before you arrive. I feel that all places should provide a menu for the customer. Yelp could do better by creating a menu available for the Comunity to see. It would be very helpful. This place is now called Urban Fusion and its really good! The baristas are attentive and work hard to get my drink just right. Also, I tried a panini for lunch today (caramelized onions and hummus on focaccia) and it was great! Definitely recommend this hidden gem :) read more

Purchased a white mocha and it has absolutely zero flavor. It's as if there is no coffee in it at all, just milk. I think I'll stick with my usual places, Bombshellz and Coffee Bean. Now they know how to make a good coffee! read more

I have been here a few times now. The food selection is okay. I have had breakfast there and it was reasonably priced and decent in presentation and taste. The coffee is middle of the road compared to other shops, nothing amazing but drinkable. However, the staff can be very unfriendly and rude. With many other coffee shops in town to choose from it is so important to provide an atmosphere where patrons want to come back. Unfortunately this is not the case. I hope they turn it around before all their customers give up and go somewhere else. read more

Nice people but service is a bit slow sometimes. I have my usually have my triple white mocha and it is always perfect. They use Tully's coffee and its great. I'm a coffee drinker of all kinds -black, straight up dbl or triple, sweet or breve..as long as its premium coffee and they care about it then you will always have a great cup of joe. read more

I really do not understand the low reviews. This place is AMAZING. I always try to stop in when i have dr. appts in the area. I have gotten their lattes many times in the past and have to say they are some of the best out there. The Panini Sandwiches are amazing too. My husband and I need to go to lunch there again. Those sandwiches are great. The pasta salad you can get with the sancwiches is very refreshing tasting. The servers are very nice. Being in the area they are i can understand if they may be slow. They do make to order food for the area drs. I have been to other Tully's and have not been impressed. This place has some of the best coffee in the Tri Cities. Coffee prices should be more along the lines of other coffee places. It will bring more people in buying the coffee. They are a bit on the high side for that. Just a suggestion. read more

Hours are bad, coffee is no longer tullys, which was better than what they now have, they're bagels are not even warm yet alone toasted and it takes forever to get your order. Go down the street to the coffee bean. read more

I agree. This place was rockin over the last year. The female manger who took over had the place going up. I used to go there every morning for my white mocha and breakfast burrito. Loved the staff. It is definatley not the same. Food is horrible now. Eggs were way over cooked, i ordered a grilled cheese for lunch and it was soggy and messy. I have had this item several times in the past. Not sure how they can mess up something so simple. they have a new man working there. He doesnt help the staff at all and seems to not have any idea how to cook the menu items. He just stood there while the girl was struggling to complete orders. Im not sure what is happening but everything is going downhill. Do yourself a favor go to the Coffee Bean for your morning coffee. read more

I have been a customer of Three Rivers Expresso since it opened. I met Cathy when she managed the expresso shop at the 945 Swift Bldg. I found she was also managing Three Rivers and tried it out. I have always received great service from all the gals. I have two favorites: 16oz. Carmel Big Train and 16oz. Cappaccino. The pastries are great, also like the breakfast barritos!!! This used to be one of my all time favorite places. All last year i soent many mornings in for coffee and reading the news paper before my appts with Dr. O. i enjoyed my morning conversations with the ladies and my eating my breakfast. The place was always packed in the morning and the girls always knew what the next person wanted. I can honestly say monday was my last day going here. I have tried several times over the last 2 months and it is just bot the same. They have a new crew except for the one little dark haired girl Elizabeth. The new crew is nice but they seem lost most of the time and have no direction as to what they should be doing. Bradley the new employee is blunt and rude. He does not seem to care about the place and has no idea how to make drinks. I sat and watched as the young blonde worked to fill orders she seemed stressed with no help. They no longer have monthly drink specials which were a favorite of mine. Im just sad to see it go in such a different direction over the last few months. Hopefully who ever the owner is can make nessaccary changes to get things bavk on track. Its such a nice place but the atmosphere has changed drastically. read more

I have stopped by from time to time, somedays are better than others, but overall my experience has been poor. It seems that there is so much turn-over at this place that maybe the manager just can't train them all, everything seems disorgainzed. It is also overpriced, i know they need to make money too, but maybe they should think of cutting labor since it always seems that there is at least one person sitting around doing nothing, which may be why it always takes so long to get my order read more

5 star experience! I moved to TC from the east coast about 6 months ago & have visited Three Rivers Espresso & Cafe toward the latter part of last year. I recently gave them another visit & was impressed with the recent changes. This place has received a makeover that now matches the buildings modern aesthetic! This reminds me of modern cafes I would frequent with my laptop for a great "working" lunch & coffee in Boston. Oh, and another plus... they have free WIFI! I met a friend here for coffee & lunch & not only was the inside very clean & modern, but the staff was friendly. There are a lot of selections available from breakfast to a variety of sandwiches (including paninis). I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Panini & was impressed with the freshness of the food! All in all, my experience was great. I hope they keep the changes coming because they have hit it on the mark with the most recent updates. read more

I do not understand all the bad reviews on here! This is insane. I go through the drive thru every morning for my sugar free vanilla latte and it is always perfect. The girls are so friendly. The lady that work the morning shift (can not remeber her name) is the manager and she always remebers my drink and is always fast and getting it made and to me. I never wait long in the drive thru. Sometimes I make it over for lunch as well and the salads are huge and we'll worth the money. The cafe is always clean and tidy Amd everyone is always working hard when I am there. Prices are great Ecspecially with Starbucks and others raising their prices. You will not be disappointed if you give these guys a try. I was told a while ago that they have a whole new staff and a new manager in the last 6 months. The old employees are no longer there and I am assuming they are the reason for the horrible reviews.
