I had been told their wings were good, so I ordered 12 wings with Ranch Dust Parmesan sauce "extra sloppy" as recommended by our server. They were delicious and the sauce was definitely plentiful! We usually come for the wings, the variety of seasonings is amazing and wings are perfectly cooked. Our order of 12 Caribbean Jerk Wings ($15) and a Rachel Sandwich ($13) was placed along with a side order of Onion Rings ($8) and drinks. They were out of turkey for the sandwich so I ordered a Club Sandwich ($13) instead. Everything was delicious Along with our dinner order, we placed an order for 12 mild wings to-go, not pictured. Wife and I went there for dinner tonight...been going there for years. Service has typically been slow but good. After waiting 10 minutes just to get noticed we ordered our drinks and starter. Drinks came out in a few minutes, but the starter took about 30 minutes. Nothing crazy just an order of loaded fries. A table of 4 that came in 10 minutes after us got their orders before our starter came out. When the fries did come out they were stone cold (you could hold the metal plate in your hand). Waitress stated they never placed them under the heat lamp so she must have known they were ready way before serving them. Our meals came out right after the cold starter arrived, again nothing crazy just an order of wings (1/2 her seasoning and 1/2 mine over fries). They were also cold and my seasoning was incorrect. When we told the waitress about this, she did offer to get more made but after 40 minutes now we just wanted to eat something and get out, so declined the offer. This USED to be a great place to go for a nice meal but has been progressively getting worse. Unfortunately, not going back anytime soon. read more

Wings, sandwiches, entrees, etc. I was here a few weeks ago and the food was terrible. The service was terrible. It was so slow. The dining room was closed so we were stuck at a table in the bar which wasn't all that comfortable. My father ordered the Three Pines Burger. It was $10 but looked like something you'd get at a high school cafeteria. The meat looked like it was cooked from frozen. The bun was sad. The toppings were sparse. My mother ordered the BLT for $5. It looked like something a kindergartener made. Barely any ingredients. When she was done, it was like she had only eaten two slices of bread with a little bit of other stuff. Not at all the type of sandwich you expect from a bar/pub menu. I ordered the pulled pork for $10 and it tasted like a bland pork roast out of the slow cooker had been shredded and doused with way too sweet out of the bottle sauce. No different from what I can buy on the condiment shelves next to the mass produced ketchup. The food, honestly, reminded me what what they served at my high school in the 80s. Here's the worse part. It took about an hour to get our food. Maybe more. I stopped counting. There were very few patrons. Just a few at the bar and one or two other tables. No large groups. You'd have to actually try to make our food that slow. Everything we ordered should have been ready in no more than 10 minutes. We were already there well after lunch and if I knew we were going to sit and wait (after already waiting to have our order taken) another hour or more . . . I would have left can gone to Sheetz down the street. After waiting 30 . . . then 40 . . . then 50 . . . then 60 minutes . . . then more . . . you would have expected them to offer us something like crackers or bread or even a small salad . . . fries . . . chips . . . I don't care. When you leave hungry customers sitting for an hour . . . just not cool. I should make this a one star but I'm feeling generous and am willing to assume we just picked the wrong day and time to eat there. Either way . . . When it finally did, the food was cold and overcooked - some items were even burnt. The service was lousy, and it was clear they were understaffed. We went for the wings, because I had heard how these are the best wings in central PA. I have to tell you, ultimately, they're pretty good, but I've had better. We ordered two samplers, which is 50 wings in total, and we were able to split that into six different flavors. All of the sauces were great-- but most noteworthy was the Parmesan peppercorn ranch. I like my wings a bit crispier, and these were not at all. I felt like I was fighting the skin on every bite, but all in all, the sauces made up for it. I'd go again, but I'd ask for them well done if they're willing to accommodate that. The service was wonderful though, and they have great beer specials. It's worth a stop. read more

Went years ago and remember having pretty good food. Went today and place has been updated very nicely. Waitress was pleasant, but we had to ask for refills. Decent menu with a large variety of wing flavors. Fries are an up charge of $3 which is too pricey. I got the chicken cheesesteak wrap and it was small. I went with the included chips and they were mostly all crushed and looked like they were from the bottom of the bag. My son got a burger and his chips were the same. If offering chips as your included side they should be good and homemade. My younger son got chicken tenders from the kids menu they were $8, and we were charged $2 extra for applesauce as his side. My husband got 2 orders of bone in wings and they were nice wings and tasted good. he also got a Caesar salad, $10 and too small for that price. The bill before tip was $96 which is just insane for 24 wings, a salad, 3 chicken tenders, a burger, a wrap, 2 handfuls of crushed chips, 2 Pepsis and 2 starrys. we didn't complain about the $2 because it is petty or charging full price for a kids drink because that seems to be the norm now, but $13 plus tax and tip for a kids meal is ridiculous read more

About a week ago someone on a local facebook page asked about the go to place for wings.. so we decided to try it out My family ordered take out. I choose the Parmesan wings with some onion rings. Sadly, what I was told was not what I experienced. I'm not sure if it was an off day or what. The wings were very dry and very bland. Not sure how to describe what I tasted. I want to say they were old and on ice for a long time because it has a (watery?) after taste? It hardly tastes of parmesan or anything really. The onion rings were a step up from the wings even though the wings is why we went. But they also had this weird after taste like it was kept frozen to long. Sadly my experience was poor and is only based on the food alone. I doubt we will be trying it again because there are other places that are day and night in taste compared to the wings we got. I was told the wings here were good, so I made it a point to try them. Please note when I try wings, I try as many flavors as I can. I did that same at Three Pines that I do everywhere else. 50 wings for $35.99 meant 5 flavors: 10 wings each. After trying the Spicy Garlic, Killer, Smokey Sriracha, Old Bay, and Mango Habanero I would say this about Three Pines' wings: their wet wings are 100% better than their dry rubs. The 3 dry rubs I tried were indistinguishable from one another and really didn't have much flavor other than salty. The 2 wet flavors were good, with spicy garlic coming out on top. Overall, the wings are a good price given their size. All of them came out crisp and meaty which is half the battle, but you'll have to play the menu to find flavors you like. *I have not tried anything else here* read more

My husband and I visited for the wings. This place looks like a typical bar, but there was no smoking inside, which was a major plus. The parking lot was a little tight, but there was a decent amount of spots for both cars and motorcycles. The Three Pines offers a large variety of flavor choices, both wet and dry. The waitress told us we could have any flavor and could mix flavors together. We both ordered the wing sampler which is 25 wings with your choice of up to 3 flavors. I ordered Wing Dust, General Tso's and Hot Honey BBQ. My husband ordered Caribbean Jerk, Hot Teriyaki and Mango Habanero. The wings were huge and tasty. Neither of us finished half our order. The wings were cooked perfectly. When the waitress brought them out, they were neither too hot, nor too cold. I think the Hot Honey BBQ with any of the other flavors made them better, but the Wing Dust with the Hot Honey BBQ was out of this world! We will definitely visit for wings again. We have enjoyed food from Three Pines in the past however I cannot say that for this visit as my poor husband has been inside trying to pick up our order that has already been PAID FOR for at least FORTY MINUTES. We do like the wings however this kind of wait happens literally EVERY time we order take out, hence the infrequent visits. We have a younger child and therefore choose not to eat in with the crowded bar and noise but we would appreciate the same respect as that given to customers eating at the restaurant seeing as we SPENT MONEY just as they did. I loved the wings at three pines before the owner passed. I have eaten there a number of times and three out of five times were terrible our wings were under cooked.(raw) I thought it was because they were busy but busy or not no raw chicken should come out of the kitchen. Very disappointed. I recommend my adult grandson take his Fiancé there for wings and hers were done and good but his were under cooked. I will not recommend or go there again read more
