We were able to comfortably entertain about 35 people in the venue space. The bottom has a long, open floor space with a metal staircase leading up to second floor that I could see a small wedding ceremony taking place easily in here. While I was really happy with the outcome, there was still a lot of people elbow to elbow for most of the night. We decided to only use the upstairs for food prep that was then brought downstairs to serve in order to keep all of our guests together for the whole event. Upstairs features a Kitchenette with stove, microwave, countertop space, and a refrigerator. In the future, if we use the venue again, we might use the upstairs for dancing. While preparing food upstairs, I was unable to figure out why the garbage disposal in the sink wasn't working. Other than that, the kitchenette did exactly what we needed it for. While the primary planner (I was just helping decorate and moderate) had no problem getting in contact with the owners of the venue, I did notice while doing some research for this review that their website has been taken down. Also, it appears they were very active on social media a couple of years ago and then it all just dropped off. Definitely think they could do more with the space, but glad we were able to get the spot for a good price! Parking was super simple for everyone. Besides the handful of street parking spots, the downtown parking garage is adjacent to the building. No time limit on the weekends! If you're looking for an event space near downtown, definitely give 'em a call!

Not only are you trying to navigate through the large twisting and turning space, but you're also trying to find a series of clues that have a theme. This was definitely one of the more difficult mazes that I've ever done. I went on Halloween and was also pleasantly surprised by the buckets of candy placed throughout the maze During COVID, they did a good job at managing crowds by having people buy tickets for certain time slots. The staff was wearing masks and asked people to wear masks during the beginning and end of the maze.

It's a quaint, restored throwback to the era when the Scots and the Davidsons timbered forests, tilling them into fields and farms. Eventually, the area was established and is known by their name. The Davidson family cemetery is prominently lined with a beautiful stone wall and is open most days. Trails exists for walking but not many use them (which is why I like going). There is an old dirt road that eventaually dead ends at a small shelter overlooking a pond--I think it leaves many disappointed. There's not much to see once you arrive and ALL the land is a County preserve with trespassing not allowed (yep, they got trail cams so if fishing is your plan, you've been warned). The magic, really, is the road itself. It winds through the woodlands for a couple miles with little traffic. I often park and walk portions with my binoculars. I grew up on such a road in Upstate New York. Fond memories rekindle. I am reminded of how happy was my childhood. Sometimes I see turkeys, deer, ospreys, and coyotes. Looking for a leisurely way to spend some time away? I say "give it a whirl." Breath it all in!

Perfect setting for private events, girls or couple date night. This place is/ was a hidden gem. Unfortunately they are closing down this month. We had an absolute fabulous time. The owner sisters were extremely knowledgeable about wines. We ordered the wings and spinach dip, our friends ordered the charcuterie board. The spinach dip was to die for. The wing meat was seasoned and so good. There was also a fabulous DJ that kept the crowd engaged. I wish iI had found them sooner.

Firstly this establishment is owned by two sisters. They were absolutely amazing, the ambiance was nice, a small intimate space but there was room enough to get up and cut a rug! Unfortunately they will be closing their doors permanently. This beautiful gem is located within a shopping strip mall and is so easy to miss, the vibe here was so good I hate that I have not known about them up until now as I could definitely see myself coming here more often now that I have been here. Parking was plentiful! Service was slow, but they were down about 4 staff members so there was literally only one person taking orders, preparing and serving the food, so we completely understood. And plus the service was great so it definitely made up for it! They paired the girl scout cookies with the wine and had us score the pairing. The host was very engaging and gave us a description and origin of each wine that was selected. I've neve experienced anything like this, it was so engaging and well orchestrated. They had a small menu of items that you could order for small bites. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip which was really yummy! And the garlic Parmesean wings, the wings had a bit of a kick to them and were a bit too salty for my liking, but they were cooked well and very meaty, if you like that sort thing! They also had 5 dollar drinks/cocktails available to order a well. The entire time they had a DJ playing all the hits and after the wine tasting, people got up and danced, laughed and had a good Ole time on the dance floor. It was such a great experience! I'm really sad that our community didn't show up enough to save this gem, I hate to see spaces like this go. But, I'm wishing the owners much success and blessings. Their closing day is March 14th 2026 and they are going to have a celebration, go out and support them!
