Not only does Three Guys carry gorgeous fresh produce on par with Manhattan Fruit Exchange but at way-outer-borough prices, the back of the store is lined with coolers containing eggs, cheese, milk and juice. There is also a section providing Italian basics like pasta and Parmesan and prosciutto and a top-notch olive bar that includes stuffed grape leaves and excellent garlic dill pickles. In fat, it was the heady pickle smell that led me to the olive bar. A lot of places, even Jewish places, have garlic dill pickles that are really half-sours but these are done all the way and delicious. Between Three Guys, St. Anthony's, Yore Meat Market and Rocco's Famous, Dyker Heights residents have no need whatsoever for Whole Foods and that makes this neighborhood awesome. read more

Went here the other day to got some groceries. They did have some good deals on some fruits and vegetables which was always a good thing. Not a lot of selection though compared to some other grocery stores that been to. But if I am around the area I put probably come back just to see what they have. Where to start this place has great fruits and vegetables some you won't be able to find in a big box top supermarket. Produce is always fresh and really inexpensive. Great selection of different hot peppers and onions. If you love your greens this is the place to be. Can you actually love a supermarket? I'm in here at least once or twice a week. They have every fruit or vegetable you can possibly think of, and I haven't seen prices this consistently low on fresh, high-quality produce, since I moved back to New York a few years ago. Only problem.....sometimes I pick-up so much food, I "forget" I live on the third floor of a walk-up and will have to drag everything up the stairs. They have a huge selection at fantastic prices (they even have an organic section). I will fill up an entire cart full of fruits, veggies, bread and other random items and spend anywhere between $20-$30 (sometimes even less than that) without a coupon! I really make it my business to find myself here every two weeks. I have been going here for quite some time,( over ten years) the fruits n veggies are always fresh and last a long time. Its always worth the trip especially for the fresh squeezed orange juice alone. There are other grocery items that the carry (ie: juices, milk, extensive cheese selecton and some sort of olive bar which isnt my thing). They make a fresh squeezed orange juice that is a bit on the pricey side but it is worth every penny. Besides the fruits and veggies there is also an assortment of nuts n dry snacks(dried out cranberries, bananas, roasted nuts, oriental mixes) that is always fresh an reasonably priced. Tip: just make sure you find a good parking spot, and have patience if you go on the weekend. I honestly rather going during the after midnight hours because its empty then. read more

I can only review this based on my experience of trying to get a home delivery to my brother. I do not live in NY, so I called the number during the normal hours and the phone was picked up and answered with an abrupt: "yes?" I wasn't sure I had gotten the right number at first. When I confirmed I was speaking to Three Guys in Brooklyn, the woman on the phone asked what I wanted, and after I said I was looking for information about delivery, she said one moment and I could hear shouting in the back. This happened several times throughout the call. I finally was able to give her the address, but didn't know what neighborhood it was in (since I am not from the state). She was incredibly abrasive during our entire conversation and unhelpful to my questions about delivery. It was uncomfortable. With all these amazing reviews, I would have expected better customer service. They do have great prices, but I'll never know how their delivery service is because they don't deliver to the area I was asking about. Their website wasn't exactly helpful on this front either. They say to call because they like to interact with customers directly and "share what produce they are excited about that week" but my experience was awful. If the website had said what zipcodes they delivered to, what the minimum for delivery is, etc, I wouldn't have wasted my time. It might be a good place to go for groceries, but it is not the place for delivery. read more

I have been shopping here for 11 yrs and the last four years I have wanted organic produce. Today, for the first time I saw a small organic section. The workers mentioned it was the first day they put the organic produce in the fridge. I am so excited to have just stopped in. This is what I have been waiting for. They have everything you can think of non organic. considering the organic section is small, it's fairly versed. I am really sooo excited about this. It adds a great flare to the store. In an area that seems filled with super size fruit and veggie stores, 3 guys is a decent choice. I found the prices to be avg to good depending on the items selected and you do have to look carefully at what you are buying to make sure the quality is there. For instance they had boxes of grape tomatoes for .99 cents which is fine but if you looked carefully many of the tomatoes were wrinkled indicating they were past their prime. On the other hand they had decent prices on Myer lemons and blackberries which looked to be fresh. I also didnt see a scale anywhere which would be nice so you could properly see how much of any item you were getting rather than guessing , this would be especially useful when following a specific recipe where you need to know that you have the correct amount of ingredients. It does get crowded so be prepared but they do move the lines pretty quick. read more
