Everything bagel with egg, cheese, avocado and ketchup

Everything bagel with egg, cheese, avocado and ketchup. This was my first time trying this place, and it for sure won't be the last. It is sometimes hard to find a place that has such fresh breakfast, especially with avocados but I was pleased with the outcome. This sandwich was so fresh and satisfied all of my breakfast needs

Everything bagel with sausage egg and cheese. Ketchup and Mayo. (Scooped out toasted )

This bagel is amazing, each and every time. I call in often and it's always pleasant and quick service.

BEC on a bagel! Long Island favorite!

    ### 5-Star Review for Kookaburra Coffee Co…read more **Absolutely the Best Coffee Experience - Hospitality That Warms the Heart!** I popped into Kookaburra Coffee Co. while visiting the area, craving a good coffee and a few pastries to go with it. As I reached the counter, I noticed the sign: cash only. I realized I didn't have any on me - oops! The owner couldn't have been kinder or more generous. Even after I mentioned I don't live locally and wouldn't be back for months, he insisted on giving me the coffee and pastries on the house. What incredible hospitality in a world where that's rare! And the treats? Phenomenal. The coffee was hands-down the best I've ever had - rich, perfectly brewed, and full of flavor. The cornbread was insanely delicious, moist and flavorful in a way that elevated a simple classic. Then there were these gorgeous pretzel threads (like delicate, twisted pretzel bites) that were addictive - salty, crunchy perfection. This little gem in Long Island (with spots in Rockville Centre and Malverne) is worth seeking out. Pro tip: Bring cash! But even if you forget, you might just encounter the kind of genuine kindness that makes the visit unforgettable. I'll be dreaming about that coffee until my next trip back. Highly recommend!

Visit Date: April 28, 2026…read more I came to Kookaburra before my endocrinologist appointment. It was in my LI Cafe Passport book. I've noticed some reviews say they are cash only, I paid in cash but I also saw some customers using debit cards. I got my dad a bag of coffee because I have Christmas money I had saved to take him out and we only went to Panera a few times so I've been buying him bags of coffee from the nice coffee shops. I got an iced cafe mocha with half and half. It was very good, creamy, chocolately and it gave a nice buzzzz. The coffee shop itself is very small, most of the space is dedicated to their coffee machines and food service. There is limited seating outside but it's not a place where they encourage you to stay and hang out after you get your coffee. It's still good though. It's more of a grab and go coffee spot. They also have no bathrooms but if you ask for a bathroom they will refer you to the train station or the cathedral near the coffee shop. I would recommend coming here for coffee it's really good but if you're looking to linger you can't.

They've really fallen off. It's really a hit or miss with this place…read more The hot sandwiches aren't worth it. They are really cheap with the portions. The eggs were paper thin and watery tasting. One extremely thin slice of meat. The brewed ice tea just tasted of very faint lemon water. Service is a hit or miss. Such a shame because this location used to be extremely good.

We ordered a turkey egg and cheese, bagel with lettuce tomato onions lox and scallion cream cheese, apple cinnamon cream bagel, and the sun dried tomato cream cheese bagel. All on different bagels scooped out and toasted. Plus some coffee. Now that took nearly 20 mins...crazy. the lox sandwich came with one of their sides so I chose potato salad. That was NOT good. They were a bit lite on the smear. I actually liked the sun-dried tomato cream cheese. Felt their bagels tasted a bit on the dry side. The staff was nice and friendly. Especially, this one guy with dreads. He seemed to connect with repeat customers. Oddly the pastries they offered did not look appetizing. There was a black and white cookie big enough to feed a family of 4. As a chef, I don't think they are using the space correctly. It looks and feels cluttered. They should try and stream line the service to get the food out faster. Also work on quality... I finished my whole coffee way before I even got my food. Lots of great bagel spots near the area, this was not one of them.
