I can't say I can crochet a straight evenly sized chain yet, but I learned the chain stitch & single crochet. As a leftie, it often takes me longer to learn a craft because watching the instructor can be confusing - but Venus did a private demo for me (and for the one more advanced student she snuck in a lesson on crocheting in the round)! Great class, all around. Now I just have to learn to better control the tension in my yarn-releasing hand. I want to be ready for the new Crochet 102 class debuting in March.

It is easily one of the best shops I have visited. The staff was so extremely friendly and warm. The yarn selection was ample and the atmosphere is professional but welcoming.
