Went to this place today after getting a horrible threading job at " Beauty By Thread" on sunrise ( see my earlier post) walked in hoping she could fix it. Lady noticed right away how horrible and uneven my eyebrows were and even said "why did they take off hair at the tail end ?" . She was very nice and she took her time also, took a before and after picture to show me and then explained what she was going to do. She didn't even charge me for fixing my eyebrows. read more

To be honest this place is the best so far. Its a bit far for my location but, it is definitely worth the drive. Sam is very open about any concerns or opinions we, the customers, may have. I found that very interesting and different from other threading places i have been to. Sam does great job, and she makes sure you are satisfied with your eyebrows before she is done. I really enjoyed this threading place. I have never had anyone take care of my eyebrows with such care. Usually, other places are just "bam bam, hold it, okay let go" if you want a one on one, and someone to care for your eyebrows, and not be "just another customer" i would totally recommend her. Samya (sorry not sure of spelling) is so sweet and does a great job! I came in with some funky brows that were thick and thin in the wrong places. She explained what she was going to do before shaping my eyes brows and checked to make sure I was happy with it after. When I told her I wanted more of an arch she had no problem making that happen. She gave me some tips on how to trim my brow hairs in a more... productive way! Clean, professional service, plenty of parking, and the price is right. So let me start out by saying that I typically don't write reviews, but I feel very compelled to write this one because I found this place through Yelp. Sam is very nice and presents herself as a very knowledgeable person regarding eyebrow threading, but I feel that she might not be as good as she or others portray her to be. I had been working with Sam for about 3 1/2 months to grow my eyebrows in because I wanted to make them more full. When they were finally full, I asked her if she could give them a little more shape. She said, "Yes, now that they are full!" She started working on my eyebrows. When she started working on the second eyebrow, she asked me, "Am I still plucking them at home?" I'm puzzled by this statement because I haven't plucked my own eyebrows myself in about 18 years. So I look in the mirror and my eyebrows are very thin with small gaps and I know I came in the shop with very full eyebrows. Another place that I've tried in the Sacramento area is Hair Plaza where I used to go to Sweta. She was the best, but she moved to Oregon. So now I'm back at square one. read more

I've been getting my eyebrows threaded by a place in Roseville for a couple of years now. I have seen the Threading Place for a while now and thought I'd give them a try. I was welcomed with a smile as I waited for my turn. She took her time with me, she did a great job in shaping my brows, better than I had ever gotten at the other place. I went there for eyebrow threading and oh my goodness I loved it! I used to get my eyebrows waxed but I wanted to try different options so I tried this place out and I'm never going back! Its affordable and very well done... They gave me some sort of gel ( I think aloe but I'm not sure ) afterward and it definitely helped. At first, I was extremely elated when they opened up this location, as it's much more convenient/closer for me than driving to Folsom to get my eyebrows done at the Palladio location. Since they've opened, I've been coming here regularly. However, starting today I will not be coming again. If I could give 0 stars for customer service I would Last time I came with my mother, my mother asked Samiya to make the distance between my eyebrows farther after we were finished because they were too close together. Today once I came, after making me wait for her to finish two other people's eyebrows, she told me she would not do my eyebrows anymore, since my mother told her that she "messed up my eyebrows" at her workplace. While I understand they have a right not to serve a customer, I also have a right to ask for her to do my eyebrows the way I like them. If she can't take "criticism" at all, then I will gladly take my business elsewhere, since I'm particular about how my eyebrows look. I suggest that you do the same. read more
