Naheed is a remarkable person and does an outstanding job threading and waxing. I had a full body wax done today and she made me feel comfortable and relaxed, even whilst having parts of my body waxed where they never have been before. She takes a lot of joy in her work and that makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable than places which are more transactional and have little character. Fantastic place, she really knows what she is doing. Cheap but it doesn't look like it is. Got a Brazilian, legs, arms and face done for just over $100. She works from home so she can be near her kids, which are adorable! She will wax and if it doesn't catch everything she takes the time to thread to make sure you look top notch. Came here today to try out threading for the first time and I was not disappointed! It was a little difficult to find the location since Naheed works out of her home, which is a unit located behind a house that is visible from the street (Literally right behind house 22777, the unit to the left). When we arrived we were led to the backroom that she uses as her work space. My friend and I each got our brows threaded for only $5 each! I couldn't believe how inexpensive her services were so I gave her extra tip. Naheed is a beautiful Pakistani mother of two (one infant girl and a 3 year old boy) that offers honest advice and tips for how to promote hair growth if you tweezed/waxed too much in high school like me (: She spent 30 minutes on each of us and that's such a bargain for the price you pay. My friend who is a regular threading customer usually only gets 5 minutes from the lady that does her brows so it was nice to have someone so attentive and dedicated to making our brows look great. Naheed is extremely gentle and precise, making sure to get all the little annoying hairs that surround the eye lid. She speaks fluent Punjabi and it was mesmerizing just listening to her talk to my friend. It really made me wish I knew the language. I will definitely be returning to Naheed when I need my routine eyebrow maintenance. Her daughter is so adorable it's worth the visit just to hold her again! First off Naheed is amazing! She does a great job Waxing and threading. I went with my best friend who raved about Naheed and I just got my lip down which was a great experience even though it was just my lip. I was nervous about the threading part but Naheed made me feel comfortable with her genuine conversation which made me trust her right away! Then I went again and got my arm pits waxed and let me tell you I will never shave my arm pits again. I will only go to her to get my armpits waxed. My armpits are so soft! What I look for in eyebrows: not too thin, arches on point, and for them too look like sisters. They don't have to be carbon copies of one another, but they should compliment each other. I've been trying to find a decent place to get threading done closer to home. Usually I make the trip to San Francisco and pay a steep price for gorgeous brows. One of my girlfriends suggested I try this place and after reading the reviews I thought I'd give it a shot. She works out of her home which is clean and spacious and has another sperate room from where she works from. To cut a long story short, I wasn't very satisfied. My brows were super uneven and I'm still growing them out about a month later. People would point out how uneven my eyebrows were and that was THE MOST embarrassing feeling. For now I guess I'll be making the expensive trip to SF. I guess it's worth it for saving me the embarrassment. I would have given her one star but she was friendly. My new threading spot! I came here for an eyebrow clean up and she did a great job. My eyebrows grow uneven and she managed to get them shaped as close as possible. She left some space for one area to grow in more and you can't even tell. She was very personable and affordably priced. As previously mentioned in other reviews Naheed works from home and her kids may be present. This is a long-overdue review! Just to clarify, this was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded AND I went as a walk-in. I've always got my eyebrows waxed prior and the people who I continuously went to, persuaded me into believing that my eyebrows didn't need nor have any kind of arch. However, they were completely wrong!!! Naheed pointed out that with waxing, they cannot be very exact with what hairs need to be removed and what hairs do not. I've also been trying to grow my eyebrows out due to over-plucking and horrible waxing service, and Naheed gave me good advice of which parts need to grow out and an estimate of how long it'd probably take. Most importantly, that I needed to be patient. Anyways - to the specific pro's of Naheed and her services. First of all, $5 is an amazing price for the work she does. She's gentle and does not rush with what she's doing. Second, due to the fact that she works from her home, you have her full on attention to whatever you need to get done. I found Naheed through Yelp a year ago. God bless her, her work, her prices, and the fact that she works from home to be with her children which ultimately is a benefit for both worlds. Trust me, this is partly why we receive such a great deal. She is detail oriented and uses multiple types of waxes for the differing needs of the skin and she also goes over with tweezers and thread as needed. I visited Naheed for the first time yesterday. And let me tell you, she is AH-mazing. She worked on me for an embarrassing amount of time trying to work out a good shape for these brows of mine.
