I am new in town and my experience here has been amazing. I have been letting my brows grow since I did chemo 6 years ago. Shaving to shape and the occasional pluck to keep them under control. After losing lashes and brows I have been terrified of them getting messed up at 57 idk if they will grow back again. Marcella did an amazing job the shape is incredible. She took her time and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. My brows grew back about 40% white so she did a henna tint to make them more noticeable. The color is great. Even my husband (who was as nervous as I was) loves the look. They are very natural and even one the first day are something I can go out in public with. Her shop is hard to find but well worth it. She is very accommodating on locating her shop. Give Marcella a try, I can bet you will not be disappointed. I will make a refresh appointment again just before my trip next month. read more

The BEST comes with a price! I've been to a few Threading places around town and Marcella is by far the only one who has threaded my eyebrows to my liking. She is now available on Vagaro for appointment scheduling (love this APP!). She has also moved from her former location on Alluvial to Salon Fleur de Lis (next door to Trader Joe's in Clovis). ~FYI~ Marcella used to offer eyebrow and eyelash tinting. I have gotten my brows tinted by her when I first moved to Fresno over 1 year ago and it looked great! Unfortunately, it is now illegal in California for a Licensed Professional to have eyebrow or lash tint in their possession or in a salon, and to administer tint on or anywhere near the client's eyes. Glad she was honest about this to me for both of our safety. Knocking off 1 star because she was late over 45 minutes when I had scheduled an appointment with her in the past via text. Marcella was one of the closest brow threading near me with the best reviews and she did not disappoint! she is so sweet and i really appreciate that she took me in last minute. I came in just wanting my brows done, but i ended up doing a full face and im really happy! I was a bit nervous because this was my first time threading my full face (I normally wax) but she was gentle, took her time and kept asking me if i needed a break to let her know. She made the experience comfortable and less painful. She also made sure I was satisfied before leaving. For her customer service and the quality of work she provides, her pricing is reasonable. WOW. One of my brows is naturally arched, higher, and raises more than my other lower and straight brow. Marcella was confident we could try our rest to get them to be similar but also told me to look into microblading...45 minutes later(Yes, 45 minutes) she created NEW brows! I have had horrible experiences in the past with eyebrow techs - I've had women wax, tweeze, and thread the life out of my eyebrows and, yes, I was traumatized. About a year ago, I was in a place of frustration and desperation, so I decided to Yelp "threading." Therein lies the fateful moment where I found Marcella. I have not gone to another person to do my eyebrows and threading in general since. Marcella is one of the only professionals in this line of work that I have met that really takes her time, and in a good way! She makes sure to execute her magic to my eyebrows in exactly the way I want it. Because I have been going to her for months, now it's at the point where I walk in and she just goes to work, as she knows exactly what I want. Every time I go, she does my eyebrows, upper lip, and on occasion my chin. Here I will list the pros of Marcella: -She uses a black thread that is not at all like a yarn string or like any other type of thread I have seen people in this industry use. I honestly can't even describe the thread that she uses, but let me tell you it does wonders! Marcella is my go to brow person! Never thought I'd be completely loyal to one person in Fresno! I have a scar on my right brow but she knows how to work with it and make my brows even. I agree wholeheartedly with other reviews saying she takes time to listen to what you want and makes sure that you leave satisfied! I wouldn't say the experience is completely free of pain but she is definitely gentle compared to my previous threading experiences. Be ready to stretch the skin around your brows briefly. You get to be part of the action haha. If you're a walk in, do not expect that Marcella will be able to tend to you on the spot. However, she will do her best to schedule an appointment at both your and her earliest convenience. I've seen a walk in stroll in during one of my appointments and how Marcella handled the situation, very kind and did her best to accommodate. Eyebrow thread. She's kind and professional and she does take her time for customer satisfaction but she's also quick. She doesn't just jump into threading. She asks a few questions to get to know your preference prior to beginning the threading process. She also stenciled in my eyebrows so I could see how it looked. I wish Fresno people would Yelp more. I'm here from out of town and it would have been nice to see more reviews to make me feel like it wasn't just friends of the owner that were rating her on Yelp. Taking into account that I noticed that Fresnians don't really use Yelp as much as LA and Orange County, I decided to give this place a shot. I'm not disappointed. Marcella does a great job. She's quick, thorough, and pays attention to detail. However, I've had a lengthy wait each time I've seen her, even with an appointment. My most recent wait was 30 minutes long. She's not a conversationalist, but that may be a good thing if you want to get the most attentive threading service. The location is easy to find, but the parking lot is very small. The salon is nice and never too crowded or loud. Overall, where she lacks in certain areas, she makes up for in her threading technique. If you want flawless threading and don't mind a potentially long wait, I highly recommend her!
