I came in today planning to get eyebrow threading for myself and two family members, but after my…read moreexperience I decided not to continue with the others. The threading was extremely painful and my eyebrows ended up very thin and uneven, with a noticeable bald spot on the bottom where hair had been removed. I paid the $10 for the service but was honestly pretty upset once I saw them more closely. I went back inside to ask if anything could be done to help fix them. They offered henna, which did improve the appearance, and I do like how my brows look with the henna. However, I was still charged $20 for it (originally quoted $30), even though I was trying to correct the result from the threading. The staff weren't rude, but the technician never acknowledged that anything went wrong and kept saying she was following my previous microblading shape. Unfortunately, the bald spot and uneven shape were clearly visible. The henna is just a temporary fix while I let my brows grow out. For now, I'll likely be looking for a new threading place. No photos because I was honestly too upset in the moment to take any. I hope others have a better experience.

Marcella did an amazing job the shape is incredible. She took her time and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. My brows grew back about 40% white so she did a henna tint to make them more noticeable. The color is great. Even my husband (who was as nervous as I was) loves the look. They are very natural and even one the first day are something I can go out in public with. Her shop is hard to find but well worth it. She is very accommodating on locating her shop. Give Marcella a try, I can bet you will not be disappointed. I will make a refresh appointment again just before my trip next month.

She might be with another person, but the wait is never long. She does work out of her house and there's a specific room for her work. It's always clean and she uses new thread for each person. Her scissors are fine there's nothing wrong with her sanitation and it's way better than nail salons and hole in the wall Chinese restaurants I've seen. She's quick and knows exactly how you want your brows. She's the only person that I trust to thread my brows and she knows the definition of keeping them nice and thick. I hear Naheed talking on the phone. She peeps her head out momentarily & disappears around the corner - not before motioning me to follow along. She gestures me to sit in a room with a chair. 12 minutes & $8 dollars later, I'm all done. She talked on the phone with her sister the entire time with the phone tucked under my headrest on speakerphone. As my eyes watered & I cursed to myself, "Mother bitch!" with the pain, I was slightly annoyed. Eh, I'm fine with it, now. But then again, I'm a medical student with some bushy Hermione Granger brows with a budget to keep. Anything looks better than my current situation. So, check out my photos.
