Amy Fritz understands organizing is a process with systems and nuance. We spent time organizing my artist work space, her well placed suggestions got the ball rolling and now I have a space and systems that serve and support ME instead of overwhelm and repel! With honor and finesse she got me to "part with" (sometimes just relocating) cherished supplies and projects that were no longer serving me - just getting in my way and create a working space where actual work could get done! The effects of working with her last long after the hours we spent together. On a more logistical note, she knows when to roll up her sleeves and schlep boxes, was on-time, took great Covid-safe precautions, mask and distance, and had awesome follow up. I 100% recommend Amy and Thoughtful Organizing. read more

I had a great experience working with Amy. We did a 6 week session, and we 'met' via Zoom or Factime every Tuesday. I got so much done that I had previously been totally avoiding for years!! My to do list always gave me anxiety but Amy talked me through things in a caring and very to the point way --she was great with ideas and strategies for my daily routine. We worked on a schedule for me, and I was able to utilize hours in the day in a much more productive way than before. I definitely formed better time management and health habits working with her. Being productive feels so much better than overwhelmed and out of time all the time! So happy I got to work with her. read more

I am a creative solopreneur with lots of big ideas and open loops. I hired Thoughtful Organizing to get my office clutter and home storage clutter under control, and man did she ever! In just a few hours she had purged months, maybe years, of paper clutter and magazines from my life with a gentle ease and sense of humor about it. Amy was flexible about accommodating my schedule and attention span for the work and was able to break up what seemed to be a Herculean task into just a few small manageable bites! I highly recommend Thoughtful Organizing and Amy Fritz to anyone looking for organizational and de-cluttering help in Santa Barbara. read more

I can't say enough great things about Amy! My situation was daunting and overwhelming. I'm a professional artist and needed to prep my art studio for a weekend home studio tour. In just two sessions with Amy, I felt I could face some of the work myself. The last session, we finished and my studio was clean, organized, and looked inviting the weekend of the tour. We had a plan of attack and Amy kept me on track and talked me through some rough spots. When Amy came to visit me during the tour, I embraced her like she was the super hero who helped me turn my chaos into a lovely, inviting art studio. I highly recommend her! read more

All of the 5-Star reviews are accurate. I'd give her 6 stars if I could. Amy is a pleasure to work with. On-time. Great communication. Trust worthy. Fast and very, very detail oriented. We used Amy on two occasions to weed out decades of old files. She quickly zero's in on items of interest and asks the right questions. These files were a nightmare no one was willing to deal with. Amy got through it all in ONE day. Amy, thank you!!! read more

Amy went through the house picked the areas of biggest concern. A quick summary; Kitchen is now efficient and organized, master closet was overcrowded, now plenty of space. the garage is once again large enough for 2 vehicles with room for bicycles, etc; plus space to walk around. More than any one thing. Amy created an attitude of organizing to the house that has continued. Amy came she saw and conquered. Thank you Amy read more

Amy Fritz was fantastic and helped me organize a garage that I just couldn't get to (for years I couldn't get to it and she and I did it over a few days!). Amy and I organized my garage together. She created a homework list for me so that I could further organize a few things on my own. Amy provided great ideas on what to do with things I was getting rid of (i.e. donation centers, etc.). Amy is kind, funny and was great company to work alongside which made getting this big task that I had been avoiding for years much more enjoyable. I LOVE my garage right now and am no longer stressed out looking for things in it. Every item has a thoughtful "home" in my garage. Yes, I would recommend Amy's services! read more

Amy is a down to earth PRO. She had a kind yet persistent way of asking the right questions and helping me become much more effective and productive. Not only with my space, clutter, etc. but also with my habits and systems for getting things done. In just 1 session I had peace of mind and progress. By the third session she used her network to help me find an awesome assistant. If you want to make progress, get more things done with less effort, I highly recommend you work with Amy! read more

Amy has been so helpful. I have trouble with too much paperwork and clutter and she is efficient and thoughtful as to what I do and don't need to keep. My company hired Amy of Thoughtful Organizing to finalize the last 10% of our move. There was a storage area that you could barely walk in and a copy area in disarray. She came in and no time made sense of the chaos. Amy was quick but thorough and took care of the things that needed to be done without much oversight. I'd recommend her to any company. read more

Let's be honest about getting organized, it's a chore. For myself it's an abominable chore, I have boxes unpacked from four years ago.... if you are reading this I'm willing to guess it's not a task you enjoy either. So here's the facts, Amy loves to organize, she makes spaces efficient, clean, structured and visually appealing..... it makes her happy! I have heard it said and it's true, an organized space is a calming one and chaos is very unsettling to the creative process. Let Amy get you organized so you can be more creative and efficient.... or procrastinate for another week then call Amy. read more

After two moves in less than 12 months, we needed help. Amy came in to our very chaotic new home and helped us tackle the trimming of "stuff" in an extremely calm, rational, collaborative, and supportive way. We were all for decluttering but were having trouble getting started. She really helped us get organized (check my profile, I'm a professional project management professional) and EXECUTE on the plan. Working along side Amy, we achieved our goals and the time passed quickly and enjoyably. She also plugged us in to the best local places to donate and recycle clothing, toys, books, and other household stuff. I'm so pleased we were lucky enough to be referred to Amy. I highly recommend Amy and have referred her to other colleagues at work (lots of us transferring in from out of the area)." read more

Amy of Thoughtful Organizing is amazing. I hired her to organize my office and in 2 hours I went from cluttered and crammed to clean and streamlined. My file cabinet held old paperwork from the past 7 years. I was blocked to clearing it out as it seemed such a daunting process to go through it all. Amy came in and consulted with me and then we made a plan. I was so pleased at how easy she made it. We did in 2 hours what I couldn't do in 7 years. The reason I help off on hiring an organizer till recently is because I didn't want anyone to know how disorganized I was. Amy is such a sweet, kind, compassionate person that that simultaneously keeps you on task but also makes it an enjoyable process with no judgment. I highly recommend Amy of Thoughtful Organizing. read more
