With honor and finesse she got me to "part with" (sometimes just relocating) cherished supplies and projects that were no longer serving me - just getting in my way and create a working space where actual work could get done! The effects of working with her last long after the hours we spent together. On a more logistical note, she knows when to roll up her sleeves and schlep boxes, was on-time, took great Covid-safe precautions, mask and distance, and had awesome follow up. I 100% recommend Amy and Thoughtful Organizing.

I got so much done that I had previously been totally avoiding for years!! My to do list always gave me anxiety but Amy talked me through things in a caring and very to the point way --she was great with ideas and strategies for my daily routine. We worked on a schedule for me, and I was able to utilize hours in the day in a much more productive way than before. I definitely formed better time management and health habits working with her. Being productive feels so much better than overwhelmed and out of time all the time! So happy I got to work with her.

I had reached out to them and not even a day later, Sarah had messaged me and helped get me connected with Danika who came out for two back-to-back organizing sessions (on the weekend no less!) Danika's organization method helped me get through a bunch of old boxes, papers, furniture, and other clutter and out of the house. She even took the donatable items to drop off! As part of the process, I was more hands-on and helping go through stuff so I could feel involved, but she works with you to make sure you're comfortable with any and everything as it gets sorted. A huge win to keeping the process simple and moving along. Finally, I was left with my own homework tasks to get done to help keep my space organized. Danika helped identify some furniture and other organizing equipment suited to my space and lifestyle that I can implement at my pace. This really empowered me to feel like I own my space again and have taken it back from the clutter! Many thanks, Sarah and Danika!

They make the process so easy and my clients are always really happy with their results. I recently hired them to help me organize my home office since I've been struggling with piles of paper on my desk like so many people do. They were really great to work with, and they helped me figure out systems to keep my papers organized that were simple and and are honestly pretty easy to maintain. It's so nice sit at a clear, organized desk. I highly recommend their services!

Parking in a garage downtown for a frozen yogurt irks me so I rarely go. I passed this consignment and the moment I entered, my eyes grew big. It's mostly furniture---a mix of mid-century modern and other classic pieces--but also one of the best designer resales I've seen in the back. Every bench, piece of art, chair gorgeous. You just have to go in to appreciate the extraordinary taste of Lisa Faitell, who moved to SB from Westchester County (a tiny town my dear friend lives and I just spent three nights). It's a mother-daughter operation, which I love. They also do custom window treatments and you can arrange for delivery. In the hour I spent, a woman in Laurel Canyon bought a large bright aqua sectional couch. I love absolutely everything. Note: the clothing runs small. Best if you are a size 2, 4, or 6. I love that a New Yorker opened this store--in a pandemic no less. New Yorkers have grit and chutzpah, always rising to the challenge in the most fraught conditions. I bought a dress (48 dollars) and an incredible long sweater-jacket with pattern (50). Wearing the dress to the Granada Saturday, my first time since 2014 before I moved to the city. If you're downtown, you must go in. It's impossible not to come away with a treasure. I went in to look for plant stands and found an outdoor set for 50 they only sell as a pair. I might have to go get it, though I really only need one.

I finally did - and what a difference! I'm still a work in progress - but together we have been working on decluttering, organizing, and sorting out my garage. (I still have too much stuff, but that happens with a large family.) However, after just a few 3 hour sessions, I can now walk into my garage for something and know where it is. The kids can take their bikes out - and return them to the same place. My husband can find what he needs, I know where my craft supplies are, and this is just the beginning. Laura has taken the time to get to know us and what is important to keep, and what I might be able to let go of, and what I have too much of but keep buying more of! (But I LOVE bags and purses!) Bottom line - don't put it off any longer. You'll be very happy with the results.
