I squally try to avoid coming in this location because it is always super crowded and has a Tight parking lot. However they usually have cheapish gas compared to the other National turnpike gas stations. I've also had a friend share some hot wings from inside rockets and it was very good. So evidently solid food options. Overall despite the anxiety of getting gas and Maneuvering to an open pump it is a good and solid location.

This gas station was much needed for this area if only just to give the ups logistic workers and other nearby workers a place to grab a quick lunch. The next closest gas station is probably a good mile away and is located in an always congested area. RaceTrac is a gas station that I've been to in my travels but I believe this is the first one in Louisville to my knowledge. The inside was really well organized and stocked and the station has plenty of pumps. Overall a good gas station in a spot that I'm sure they will do really well at.

I went back in and questioned what I was charged for. The two cashiers working were wonderful. Very friendly and eager to solve the problem. They couldn't find the manager. He was outside. When he came inside he was informed on the issue. I work in customer service so I know that some issues are just unavoidable. I was being very reasonable. His tone was very off putting and accusatory. I showed the statement, showed that my card matched the numbers on the receipt. He started to blame Apple Pay and said that "it must have picked up my card" even though I was 4 feet behind the person I played for. I ended up paying for his cigarettes. Even though I had everything I needed, he told me that I would just have to call customer service and there was nothing I could do. One of the cashiers looked at me and her jaw just dropped. The way the manager spoke to me was completely unnecessary. The manager was a taller bald male. I would've understood if he had apologized and had been nicer. I was on my way to a wedding and this just ruined my mood. It was February 7th around 1:30 PM. Again, the cashiers were very sweet and wanting to help, but the manager was just rude. Customer service is closed so I have to wait multiple days to get this fixed. Super nice staff here, very unpleasant manager.

Being right off of the expressway they can be overwhelmed at times so occasionally you may notice the fountain drink area a little messy as they remain busy working the registers but for the most part they keep things moving and clean. The only criticism I can give of the staff is that oftentimes the nacho cheese dispenser is out of cheese. I'm taking away a star because Thornton's themselves have raised prices significantly over the last two years especially on the breakfast and lunch grill items which were initially much more varied while now pretty much consist of either an over priced plain cheese burger or burrito. Thornton's has also taken away amenities such as cheese for the roller grill items leaving only jalapenos, onions and relish if I remember correctly. All things considered, mostly because of the staff and despite my issues with Thornton's as a corporation this particular location is definitely one of the better convenient store locations.

Got some chicken tenders and onion rings, since they were out of the fish I wanted. The tender were large and tasty, however the onion rings were disappointing. The inside is on the smallish side but it spaced out nicely and can get what you need. I will be a frequent visitor.
