We were not prepared with a jack or the impact driver needed to get the wheel off, so we started calling businesses to see if they could help us. The gentleman who changed our tire was super nice and explained everything. Their prices were reasonable as well. Thank you for helping us!

These guys do an excellent job of being quick and efficient with getting your tire fixed or even replaced and at a really great price. They also were able to air up my other tire for no additional charge. I highly recommend anyone in the area to come here first for all of your tire needs.

You can tell the place is close knit and run small. They took great care of our car making sure to look at everything besides what we came in for. I felt like their prices were very fair and they did a thorough job. They did take a while but it was a very busy day and they let us know ahead of time it would be a long wait. Fun note: they have a giant aloe plant in the window and lots of baby aloe plants from the big one and if you ask about it they will literally give you a baby aloe plant! So I might have had to pay for my car to get fixed but at least I got an aloe plant! Pro tip: this place is right next to my FAVORITE coffee shop so if you go here you can just walk across the road and hang out at Sunergos while you wait. Pretty awesome set up.

In fairness Colleen was on vacation when this was going on- I am quite sure she would have handled it differently. In response to my post here, Dan reached out and evaluated the problem determined how to resolve it and installed a fresh replacement part at one of their sister stores- Springfield Auto Service on Taylorsville road. While I would like it not to have happened at all, of course, speed with which they resolve the situation has reassured me a great deal. Thanks Dan! Thanks Colleen! Bear with me, because this is going to be quite a review…read more I had been going to Probilt for a few years, and had gotten good work done. I was happy I had found a decent auto repair shop. Then...it all came crashing down. I went in for a routine oil change over a year ago, and when I picked it up, they charged me and I paid and I figured that was that. The mechanic, (whom I'd not seen there before,) brought it out and asked me "Did they talk to you about the timing belt?" "No." I said. He then proceeded to tell me how the timing belt had "slipped a tooth already", and that it "can lead to engine damage." I said I'd look into it but he said it would be okay to drive. When I got in my car and started driving (it's a 5-speed 2012 Ford Fiesta,) I IMMEDIATELY heard grinding and there was little to no acceleration. Remember: it was FINE when I took it in, and I had just driven a long distance trip with no problems. I brought it in for a routine oil change. I stopped off and called them back and took it back in. The woman at the front desk remembered that she hadn't remembered to tell me about a potential issue. I dropped it off again and they continued to look at it. They called back a few DAYS later and told me that it had slipped and they don't fix that. I was livid. They said they weren't covering anything financially and that it was something they couldn't help with. These are people I had gotten used to seeing and had been on friendly terms with for at least a couple years. I went to get it towed back to my home. When I got there and spoke with the tow truck guy, he said he had been towing a lot from Probilt lately and they had apparently been under new ownership. That made perfect sense. The people on the phones seemed completely different than they had been and the new mechanic seemed more than subpar. It felt as if they were just churning through cars and didn't care about anything but the payments anymore. I will NEVER go back there, and I warn anyone else against this place. Hopefully, it shuts down soon, if it hasn't already. I notice most of the good reviews are from years and years ago.

I pulled into an O'Reily's (see 5star review for that!) and Jay there recommended me to Carson at Val's, who were open on Sunday. My car made it there Sunday morning. Carson took me in right away and helped diagnose my car for a very reasonable fee, as well as gave me price estimates for the repairs. Due to other work I had recently had done, we decided that the best thing for me was actually to tow back to Indy. Carson gave me some paper work and their assessment results so that I could have some more info for my home garage. This kind of service, especially for an out of state, stressed out, traveller and then they didn't even get the big job -- it's just stellar and SO appreciated.
