At the urging of a friend I made an appt with Dr. Sue and through testing and health history she identified the triggers and put together a plan of action. After years of ups and downs I can happily say my son has been episode free for over a year. Dr. Sue spends every minute of your appointment with you and listens to your concerns. Our first thought upon walking in was it was very kid friendly with a very colorful ambience! The lady at the front desk is so delightful every time we are in there! She always has a smile on her face and makes us feel like family! All of the nursing staff has also been very welcoming and always ready to listen! Dr. Sana Syed has been a blessing as a Pediatrician! At our initial appointment she listens to our concerns, helped us come up with solutions to help in the meantime, referred us to a pediatric ENT where they decided to perform surgery the next day! Where as the other Pediatrician just gave us the runaround, Dr. Syed heard us and made things happen! Every appointment since we still feel just as welcomed and always have her undivided attention and knowledge! Everything we could've possibly ever wanted in a Pediatrician. He he printed out that list and brought it with us to the offices -- I thought it would be embarrassed by it, but now I know it showed we meant business! We wanted to find someone who would consult with us and respect our decisions on vaccinations and antibiotics. We wanted to veer on the homeopathic side of care whenever possible. We wanted someone who respected the fact that our son was born at home with a midwife. It was hard to find all of this in a pediatrician, but in a family doctor, Dr. Scheerer was the It man. Dr. Scheerer is accomodating, I don't feel like a sardine in a tin can in his waiting room, he sits with you and really listens to your concerns. He knows his holistics but is also affiliated with St. Joe's, so you get the best of both worlds. He supports breastfeeding. He looks like he was in a rock band once, but has pictures of his family on a slideshow screensaver. Also, since he's a family doctor, he can take care of the whole fam. He sees babies every day, so we felt comfortable to have our son under his care. His staff remembers us and it really feels a lot more inviting than any other doctor I've been to. If you really like flourescent lights, a hospital setting, and a sterile-feeling environment, then he probably isn't for you. His office is in this awesome gigantic purple house near Planned Parenthood.

He is thoughtful, thorough and engaging. His standard of care is among the best I have ever experienced in any of a variety of medical settings. In an era when your counted as lucky to get more than 10 minutes with your physician, Dr. Scheerer takes the time needed to examine, discuss options and then take a few minutes to talk about what books we've been reading.

We were clueless first time parents. She showed us how to clean our daughter's diaper area properly. She swaddled our flailing newborn with such expertise to listen to her heart and examine her. She showed me the proper way to nurse my baby whom she noticed was hungry. Her tip to me was,"if your baby is holding a fist, then she's still hungry." He takes time to establish trust with his young patients before performing even the simplest procedure, such as looking in an ear or listening to the heart. He has always listened to my concerns, even when I've brought in a perfectly healthy child that I thought was sick. Very careful about infection control procedures. (You'd be surprised at the number of doctor who will come in and touch you before washing their hands in front of you. Not Dr. Weinblatt or his staff.) His practice just added an electronic personal health record that helps you manage your child's health online -- a must for me. Finally, and perhaps most important, he will admit when a diagnosis is hard to make definitively and discuss thoughtfully why he thinks a particular course of action is best for your child.

I asked about the flu shot and they didn't have them in, but to keep checking up on it. I knew what happened last year so I decided to just go to Meijers. Crazy how Meijers has the flu shots, but not a pediatricians office! I was able to get my 8 and 5 year old flu shots at Meijers. I had an appointment with my doctor and asked if my 3 year old could get the flu shot. He could, but he wasn't a patient at their practice. So, I called here today 9/6/19 to see if they had them in yet. She said they do not have the flu clinic yet, but they are giving it to patients that are already in the office or are coming in with an illness. I said I was there two weeks ago and wasn't given on and she said the shots are sporadic. So, if you have the shots in right now, its should be first come, first serve. You shouldn't be denying a kid a flu shot! I'm considering taking my 3 kids to a different pediatricians office

As if I wasn't stressed enough! 1/14/2019 - I called the office to request a pediatric ortho referral for my daughter. I gave the receptionist the information that she requested and she said that she would request the referral. 1/17/2019- I called the office for a follow-up. The referral had not been submitted. The receptionist gives me 2 numbers to call (they did not do that initially) for make an ortho appointment for my daughter. 1/18/2019- I call back with the appointment info and the receptionist says that the referral will be completed "that day". 1/23/2019-Day of the ortho appointment. Arrived at the ortho appointment and the receptionist informs me that they have not received the referral and my daughter cannot be seen until they receive it. Called Dr. Malik's office and the receptionist tells me that the ortho office "can pull the referral from the TRICARE" site. WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THIS? I told her to fax the referral to the ortho office and that I wanted to speak to an office manager, as my experience trying to get this referral has been COMPLETE HELL. She tells me that the office manager is not available and takes a message. It's been almost 2 weeks since I've left that message and I have yet to be contacted. Do I have your attention now?

The entire seventh floor of the north tower is absolutely the best healthcare I've ever seen in my life and I'm 78 years old. There is absolutely no way I can thank them for their outstanding service and to care of my significant other. God bless all of you in the Select Specially Hospital on the seventh floor. I was not disputing the amount, just taking time closing accounts and transferring funds. Today, MARCH 6TH, I got a letter from a COLLECTION AGENCY. 15 days BEFORE the bill is due, I now have to deal with a collection agency. I have to keep copies, files, send a letter of validation of debt, maybe even hire an attorney to protect me against this shady collection agency. I'm not going down quietly. I sent letters to Trinity, my state senator and will also send one to the Attorney General's Consumer Complaint Division. Trinity's GREED is horrible. Supposedly, a Christian hospital. Truth in advertising, change your name to, It's All About The Money.
