Whenever an issue came up it was dealt with immediately. The facility is easy to access and I felt that our stuff was secure. Twice we lost our lock key and both times staff took care of cutting the locks off. That was embarrassing. When it came time to leave the staff made the process simple whereas finding a new storage facility in a new state was fraught with issues. Special Note: staff member Kyle was always outstanding and a pleasure to work with. He never failed to help us out. In summary, we were happy with our association with Ina Freedom Self Storage.

U-Haul renters BEWARE!!!! This location is so shady! I have used various U-Haul locations in Tucson…read moreand Phoenix and never had a single problem with any of them EXCEPT for this location. We had to rent 2 different trucks and used this location as the drop off for both on separate days. On the first drop off, a young man did a quick inspection of the truck, notated the gas and mileage levels and said we were good to go. For the second drop off just 4 days later, an older woman (presumably the co-owner) was the only one working and wouldn't even leave the counter. She asked us "Is everything good?" We answered there were no issues and she just thanked us and that was it. I noticed 2 mysterious credit card charges posted to the card used to pay for the rentals charged by this U-Haul location on the very days that we returned the trucks. The charges were not disclosed to us and absolutely unnecessary! My husband had purchased the truck insurance and pumped a little more gas in the tank than the level we received, neither of which were full tanks. The total of both came to $104. We are assuming we were charged to refuel the trucks. My husband went back to this location to challenge these false credit card charges but the owners weren't there. He was told the name of the woman who "helped" us is Darshan and one of the owners. My husband told the cashier what happened and he agreed it wasn't cool but obviously couldn't do anything about it. We emailed U-Haul and they agreed to refund us for these FALSE credit card charges. After this whole mess, we looked at the other Yelp reviews and Google reviews as well. Looks like we weren't the only ones to have to dispute Darshan's shady practice of fraudulent credit card charges! Completely unethical! I am so ticked off about this that I swear I will never ever give them a shred of business again. I hope this review is useful to others. U-Haul should pull the plug on this one.

I had to tell her half a dozen times that it was a one way move (I even made an online reservation). She kept asking for my information and credit card. She swiped it at least 4 times. After twenty minutes, she finally got me a truck. She reserved me a round trip, not a one way and told me that she already ran my card. She said that I would have to call customer service in order to change my drop off location. It was the typical terrible service I have come to expect from Uhaul.

We chose the 10 foot truck from Penske and were very glad we did. I met with Charles Castenada in the office on Monday afternoon and he explained the costs. The next morning we tried to comparison shop at a competitor but they didn't open until 9:30, so we went back to Penske. Charles got all the paperwork done quickly and made some helpful suggestions. He was so great to deal with and has an excellent understanding of customer service. I highly recommend him! As for the truck, I'm a 60+ female who has never driven anything that big. I confess to having a death grip on the steering wheel the entire 2-day trip, but it was actually okay. The truck cab was clean and comfortable, it had cruise control and good heat/AC. The back had plenty of room for furniture, boxes and a kayak. It's scary to maneuver and I would only back it up with another person to guide me, but overall it handled extremely well. I would never want to drive it in a congested city street, but it managed I-10 and I-20 just fine. Thanks again Charles... you rock! and Penske gets a thumbs up, too.

I said spot "M" or whatever, this is when he shouted "We have security cameras and I can see exactly where you parked, and you did it wrong and you're supposed to drive all the way around the back, and there are signs telling you where to go! So next time do it right.". Don't worry there won't be a next time.

I interviewed several movers, and many were uninterested in handling fine art, a grand piano, in having a thoughtful conversation about the complexity of my move or lacked proper insurance that would cover a meaningful loss should one occur. When he recently passed away they were so thoughtful and kind when helping my brother and me fumble through the first few weeks of confusion we had trying to tie up his loose ends and helping us to not loose his precious treasures and his 73 years of memories he had stored away for safekeeping. Even though CubeSmart is so darn 21st Century with its easy-to-use online rental services conveniences, the old world human touch that you have from Denaye and Abel is priceless.

We live in house with serious storage needs and required just a little help until we could build shelves and a shed. The staff was courteous, polite, professional, and helpful. They gave me thorough tour of all the available options. There were no surprises: they explained that the units were externally facing and not self-enclosed, so they advised expecting some desert dust to get in periodically. We were fine -- I covered everything with tarps, garbage bags, or just left it uncovered for things we could brush off. I've seen the other review about infestations but found no invasive desert species in my unit. My stuff was dusty but fine. I was impressed by the security as well. As we prepared to clear out our unit, I forgot to replace the lock on the door. I was called promptly after the evening security check to confirm the status. Since I had emptied the unit that day and was paid up, the agent quickly and efficiently canceled the theft report, closed up my contract, and ceased my automatic billing to avoid mischarging. Basically, it was straightforward and professional. They were straight with me about what to expect and I feel like I got my money's worth. If we're ever in a jam like that again for space, I would rent from them again.

Not a 10, 20, 30 percent increase. A 100% increase. And the lady I spoke with said it will likely go up again in 4 months. I asked her if it could double again. She said it could. It's clearly a fake price to get you in so you don't feel you have a choice after spending hundreds of dollars to move. A scam. And yes, there are unhoused people in the spaces as night. Nothing scary, but they are there.

The initial perks were the front desk staff were friendly and super helpful. For many years they accepted packages and put them in my unit. I utilize the unit for work related marketing materials, so it was such a great help to have them accept packages. They also had a functioning moving truck, which I utilized a few times. The last time I inquired about the moving truck it was out of order. I also used to keep a spare key at the front desk which they threw out during an ownership transition and didn't notify me. It's a compounding of all of these things that have chipped away at my overall Impression of this company. Why do I still rent here? It's indoors, secure to enter, and offers the shortest commute for me to get there.

I mailed a check along with a hard copy of my intent to vacate and sent it certified mail. They didn't accept delivery of it so they didn't receive my rent and they locked me out of my unit. Had they done their job, they would have received payment three days before it was due. These people lack professionalism and they have no problem at all being predatory property managers. By far the worst storage place I've ever had ! I've had for 3 months , maybe been there 3 times in…read morethat whole time and today I was locked out of my unit and told I had to leave the property because I had my dog with me and all of a sudden it's in my lease that my baby chihuahua who is a very very obedient, well trained service animal that you can't even tell he's with me ever cuz he's so quiet and well behaved and so small . So in order to get into my storage i had to leave my dog in the car or have someone leave work to come get him for an hour which also means he would be away from me and not able to do his job, leaving me at risk medically. Mind you I signed my lease while I had both my dogs with me not just the one and they had treats in the office for the dogs and gave me a bag when I asked for so I could pick up the poop cuz I left my bags in my truck. So how does a lease I signed then all of a sudden change without my knowledge, forcing them to be so rude with me and my surface animal to the point where they locked me out of my paid storage till I follow rules in my lease.... Unbelievable! Than tell me I can not be there longer than 2 hours and once the hour and a half mark passes(90minutes) - the employee was then at my storage door telling me to start packing up that I needed to get out of there. It was time to go and then would come back every 10 minutes to make sure I was ready to leave at the exact two hour mark - 120minutes to unload a huge house I just moved out of - impossible! How to keep my U-Haul another day pay the extra money cause I was not allowed to be there longer than two hours. And two wrap everything up with a cherry on top. My unit completely flooded when it rained today to the point where everything in my storage that was on the floor was soaked ruined or has to be washed, cleaned or thrown away cuz there was so much rain very quickly ! They had to have known that it was going to flood like that ! It was not their first day of that location that had ever rained. They have been there for years. Knowing that exact unit had to flood like that frequently and still sold to me .

Forcing people to urinate elsewhere...so wear a mask. The staff is horrendous, rude and lazy. Pay the extra $5 for safety and security (and your health) and rent somewhere else. I have videos and recordings of it all, including the staff.
