As we had no idea who to call, we called one of our best friends, in Arcadia, and he immediately said, "Call Brian Hunter!" Then, he gave us Brian's phone number. Within 15 minutes, Brian and an assistant arrived. They traced where the leak was coming from. After removal of toilet in laundry room, just above the basement pipe/leak, cleaning out, then fully repairing all of the pipes connected to this, the leak stopped. A week later, we suddenly discovered another leak. This time, it was down a bit from the earlier leak. Brian once again arrived in about 15 minutes, and quickly discovered this particular leak was due to a broken sewer pipe, outdoors. As he does not do outdoor sewer repair, he referred us to a phenomenal person/company, who did all the repair for that issue. The shower trim job turned out to be FAR more complicated that originally anticipated. The former owners had literally drilled through the pipes in an attempt to get incompatible pieces to work, and the pipes were in bad condition due to excessive mineral scale. Jeremy went above and beyond, replacing the full shower line while only charging me to replace the valve. The water softener he sold me, while not cheap, is a top quality, commercial-grade product. He is a true professional who clearly takes pride in his craft and supplies only superior parts to customers. I would be happy to hire Jeremy and his team again, and he quickly fixed a few small issues with the job at no added cost. I highly recommend Advocate, and they will definitely be my go-to for all plumbing needs.
