I have been going to Mazzawi Family Dentistry for about a year now and love it! The staff is very…read morefriendly and will start calling you by name as soon as you walk in the door once they recognize your face,I thought that is a very nice, personal touch so you are not just a number, you become more life family. There is usually no wait when I make it to my appointment and they always pair you with the same dental tech so you can get more comfortable and acquainted with the person you are working with. It's located in a large shopping plaza so there is plenty of parking. I can't think of my dental techs name but she always does an amazing job at cleaning my teeth and Dr, Nicole Ochoa comes right behind her with the exams to make sure all is well. If you are looking for a more intimate, family owned dentist, this is the place to be.

A day later, the temporary crown popped off and I ended up back in the dental office. Was told that permanent crown was in, but I specifically told the dentist that tooth and gum hurt to much for permanent crown -that I wanted to finish the antibiotics first before the permanent crown is placed. I was very clear. Went back following week - I thought to get the permanent crown. The dentist seemed a bit nervous and anxious. He told me I was good to go!!!! I said that I still need the permanent crown placed. He stated that he did it the previous week when I SPECIFICALLY ASKED TO WAIT. WHERE IS THEIR ETHICS IF THEY DISREGARD A PATIENT'S RIGHTS AND WISHES.

Dr. Gilleland and Dr Gupta told me I didn't need all of the expensive dental work the other 2 dental group tried to get me for and they fixed my issues for a lot less with great results. Dr. Gilleland even totally re-did my crown because he did not like the way it was sitting, he didn't just try to drill and fix it. I really appreciate him going the extra mile. The entire staff has been super kind thus far. I strongly recommend this office.

After nearly 21 years as a patient of this practice, I am writing to formally notify you that I…read morewill be transferring my dental care--and that of my entire family--to another provider. This decision is not a reflection of the dentist or the clinical care, which has always been satisfactory. Unfortunately, it is the result of ongoing issues with the back-office billing process under the current office management. Due to repeated billing negligence, I was forced to pay over $600 out of pocket, ultimately including payment to a collection agency for charges that should have been properly handled and reconciled by the office. Today, when I contacted the office to have my account reviewed after resolving the collection, I was placed on hold for over an hour without resolution. After nearly two decades of loyalty, this level of billing mismanagement and lack of responsiveness is unacceptable. Patients should not bear financial consequences due to administrative errors, nor should they have to expend excessive time attempting to correct them. As a result, I will be transitioning myself and my family to a dental practice that demonstrates greater accountability and appreciation for its patients.
