The diagnose was full covered by insurance, but of course, not the 3D. On top of that they charge $275 for it!!! I asked to NOT have the 3D RX, just a local RX and I was denied. They prefer to NOT take you call AT ALL, and loose everything, instead of working with you and do their proper job! This was ONLY the receptionist call, she did not talk with anyone in the office. She can do that call w/o asking any medical advice. Avoid like a black plague this business!!!

When I went for my initial exam, I informed them I was experiencing pain on my front and a molar. They only took an image of my front teeth, did not take an Xray of my molar and moved on. I went in today for my appointment to get treatment done on the front tooth but continued having extreme pain on a molar and am pretty sure it's due for a root canal. As I was on my way to my 11am appointment they called me 9 minutes before to let me know they were running behind and asked me to come in at 11:30. I am also a dental assistant and understand but I expected to be seen as soon as 11:30. When I arrived they still made me wait another 30 min and ended up wanting me to reschedule since I had to be out by 12:30. They have no respect for the time of others and made me lose time from work to come sit around in their lobby. They also don't check insurance codes properly so be sure to check up with your insurance and confirm what they're charging you is correct. I will not reschedule with an office that does not take into consideration the time of others. I will be taking my money elsewhere.

I called to change my appointment to an earlier time due to a conflict with my schedule and spoke with Shika who was very accommodating and rebooked my appointment at a time that worked best for me. My office visit today included teeth cleaning and polishing and I was very pleased with Donnette services. She took her time and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. She also made recommendations to help me keep my teeth healthy. Afterwards, I spoke with Yolanda who was also very accommodating and assisted me with checking out and making my next scheduled appointment. Overall, Dr. Diane Stephens and her staff are very professional and welcoming. The office is very clean and you can even watch Netflix movies while you're having your dental work completed. I would definitely recommend this office for all your Dental services.

Let me start by saying that this review has nothing to do with the Doctor that was treating me, my…read moreshort experience with Dr. Fabiola Palacios was amazing, she's very professional and very thorough. She was able to effectively find and treat a problem in one of my molars. My review has more to do with the office policies and the staff. So, I went for my first appointment and I was very happy, then I was referred to an endodontist and he was also very professional. I was scheduled with Gwinnett Family Dentistry (GFD) for a second appointment to finally get a crown in my molar, so they call me (GFD) and schedule my appointment, very nice lady, never mentioned any of their policies regarding changes or cancellations. On a Thursday, i receive a confirmation call from GFD and again, the nice lady never mentioned any of their policies or how long the procedure will take. So I confirm that I'm attending to my appointment, thinking that the procedure will take about an hour like in my first appointment, but what do I know??.. I'm just the patient who's never ever had a crown treatment before. So I call the day of my appointment, which was Monday, around 7:30-ish... I get Ingrid on the phone and I ask her how long is the treatment going to take? and she says "2 hours", and obviously I had no idea of the length because I was never informed. So I panic and I tell her that I can't make it because of work, I didn't know it would take 2 hours, and I have to reschedule..... I understand that I'm calling at the last minute, BUT.. Aren't they (GFD) supposed to inform you of these details before your actual appointment?? Anyways, she tells me there is a cancellation fee, and I tell her that I'm NOT cancelling, I'm rescheduling because I was not informed that the procedure would take that long. So she insists that is the same because is in the same day, less than 48 hours before my appointment. I get very upset, and I tell her that if they charge me a cancellation fee I will go to another dentists, obviously Ingrid doesn't care. She tell me that the administrator will be at their office the next day and she will call me... After a few minutes I call back and ask Ingrid how much the cancellation fee is?.... And her answer????.... " I don't know, the admin will call you tomorrow"... that never happened.... A week after, I receive a bill from them, it's only for $15, the original amount was $50 but after some credit they made I only "have" to pay $15, NOT my point... So my problem is..... Ingrid, works in that office, SHE tells me about the cancellation fee, but she doesn't know the amount.... So, how am I supposed to know about their policies if they never ever EVER mentioned them to me, the policies are not in their website and I was never informed by any of their staff, not when I scheduled my appointment and not when the nice lady called me to confirm my appointment.... But I have to know them????? Can someone please tell me what is the logic here????
