I suffer from dental anxiety and have to find gentle dentist. My anxiety is so bad I have sat in my car and cried before entering an office. Two days of reading reviews for Endodontist in my area and things weren't looking good. I came across Soft Touch Endodontics and decided to give them a try based on their name. I drove almost a hour to get to their Suwannee office and from the time I walked through the door I felt like I had made a good choice. The office is beautifully decorated which aided in calming me somewhat and Camila was just a kind and pleasant as she was when I called to make my appointment. I was escorted to the examination room, had routine blood pressure (which was extremely high due to my anxiety) and temperature taken and X-rays of the tooth needing treatment. Dr. Davis came in and introduced herself and thanked me for choosing their office. Dr. Davis gentle touch, soft voice and friendliness immediately made me feel safe in the chair and confident that I was in the right place. She throughly explained what steps I needed to do next. I had to get a root canal retreatment and I was extremely nervous. Dr. Davis is incredible!!! She's very professional and so knowledgeable. The staff are so nice and helpful. The procedure only took an hour and a half and I've heard from many that is great timing compared to how long theirs took. Every step of my treatment was explained to me thoroughly. Dr. Davis and her staff were wonderful. The woman working the front desk made sure to explain all fees ahead of time. Mario took me back for x rays and tests and explained everything he was about to do before he did it. He offered a neck pillow to make sure I was comfortable. Enters Dr. Davis. Another thing I liked is that they showed the before and after x rays on a screen for me so that I could actually see what was done. Had been in pain for a week and they moved up my appointment because I had an infection and it was critical. Dr. Davis is wonderful! She's a beautiful lady with a sweet spirit and knows exactly what she's doing. She is caring, compassionate, she listens to what your concerns or needs are. Amazing! Very professional, great customer service and nice facilities. The doctor is great and really does have a soft touch. I don't think it gets better than this. I thought I paid a lot just for a consultation, it's kind of price-y, but I guess you get what you pay for so it's worth it. Dr. Davis was great! Made sure my dental fears were addressed when I had to get a root canal. I was well taken care of during sedation and I barely remember a thing. Dr. Davis ordered special, more flexible tools because my roots were so curved and set me up for an early morning appointment before usual opening hours to accommodate me as soon as possible. Dr. Davis and her team exceeded every expectation I had for my first root canal. I am thankful that my neighbor referred me to Dr. Davis based on her own positive experience, or I probably would not have found this practice. They are worth the drive from Peachtree Corners. The entire team is courteous, professional and kind. I noticed a very poor review from another user about yelling/disrespect in the office, and I agree that review must have been intended for another practice. Dr. Davis is soft spoken, reassuring and kind. She is attentive to pain management and I did not even feel the needle when she administered the novocaine. (Highly impressive!) She had a full schedule the day of my root canal, and she balanced those demands with the utmost professionalism. I felt well cared for from start to finish. I left the procedure with very specific instructions for my home care, along with Dr. Davis' emergency number in case anything went wrong for me after hours. They even proactively called the next day to see how I was doing. They were able to see me one week sooner than the local endodontics group that my dental practice suggests to most of their patients. That is a huge win when you are experiencing tooth pain. The fees that I was charged at the time of service were exactly as discussed on the phone during the scheduling process. I want to start by saying no one wants to go to a dentist for work. However if you need an endodontist, Dr Davis is the one to go to. Let me begin by saying this is my third root canal done by Dr. Davis over the course of a few years. From the first time to the most recent time, her professional yet caring and understanding attitude has been consistently top notch. She does not rush you to do any procedures, and even will tell you when she does not think you need a procedure done. One of my best experiences at her office was going in and being told we did not need to extract a tooth (it turned out to be a missed root canal from another dentist, cleaning it and saving it) vs another endodontist who spent less than 2 minutes looking at my tooth and proclaiming we need to extract it. I also have to give her entire staff top notch reviews. They are always professional and methodical in their work. All in all it is good to have a dentist like Dr Davis close to where I live. DO NOT USE THIS ENDODONTIST!!! I called this office back in December of 2018. I was scheduled to have shoulder surgery on 1/17/19. I was told by my dentist in my preop checkup that I needed a root canal; the surgeon required that to be done before the surgery because they want no infection in the body going into surgery. I explained all of this along with the surgery date and they made my appointment. I paid for the xrays and services up front. After the assistant had taken x-rays and checked my tooth, Dr. Davis comes out and tells me that she can never do the root canal by the surgery date because she is going to be out of the office starting in a few days until way after the new year. I was stunned. Why would they even take my appointment at all if her office was going to be closed. I went home and immediately changed my surgery date until the end of January, called her office back at which point they told me her first appointment would be the 31st of January. Needless to say, I found another person to do the root canal. This is a very unprofessional and possibly unethical practice. Maybe there is poor communication between Dr. Davis and her staff. If someone has to have work completed by a surgery date, I would think they would check with her to make sure she could do it before they made the appointment. So I paid them for their pointless services except for the x-rays. She got to collect her insurance money to tell me she couldn't do it. read more

The worst health office I've ever been to. They had me wait 50 minutes in the waiting room on my first appointment for the consultation. After the consultation, I decided to book the prodecure apt, because I've been holding off on this tooth for a long time and they already charged me for the consultation. I thought I should just go ahead and get this out of the way. So I made an appointment for the procedure. The reception gave me a card with the appointment date and time on it. When I showed up for my procedure, he shaked his head and told me that I'm not on the schedule anywhere. Not even wrong date or wrong time. NOWHERE on the schedule! Then he tried to get me to schedule another appointment for next year. What do you think? Well...Heck No! I WILL NEVER come back to that office again. And I won't recommend this office to anybody, unless ... you want your blood pressure to sky rocket! read more

I was not pleased with my experience at Soft Touch Endodontics! The office staff was unprofessional and Dr. Davis was not confident and informative about the root canal that needed to be done. She told me it would take 2.5 hrs. to do my root canal and it would take 2 visits. I was charged $25 just to make an appt., had to pay the entire consultation fee even though my insurance covered it, and they even came to collect money from me while I was in the chair. They do have nice facilities, but it ends there. I ended up going somewhere else and it took him 30 min. to do the root canal. read more

I had to get a root canal done and I read around and called some friends and this place was recommended even though I live in Decatur. When I arrived for the initial appointment, they took my blood pressure and health history, took great care to explain the procedure and made sure to give me a clear bill of what it would cost before starting. Dr. Davis confirmed that it was going to need all four roots taken care of and she went to work doing a fantastic job. She has a gentle touch and I have always hated being at the dentist so I was impressed. She wasn't able to get to all four roots because she had to soften something with a pack of antibiotics in my tooth and they put a temporary seal. I went back two weeks later and they finished without issue. When I went to get my crown, my primary dentist told me that whoever did it did a great job and I mentioned Dr. Davis' name and he said that she was a great person to go to and he was glad I did because it could have easily gotten screwed up elsewhere due to the complexity of the root canal procedure I needed.
