Throughout it all, they've consistently made us feel welcome and well cared for. One of the things that has always set this office apart is their respect for patients' time. Unlike many places where you can arrive promptly only to wait 30 minutes or more, I've rarely waited more than five minutes here. That reliability means a lot. Today's visit, however, was bittersweet. I came in expecting to see my longtime hygienist, Kelly, only to learn she is no longer with the practice. While the new hygienist was pleasant and professional, I truly missed seeing Kelly. She's been a part of our dental care journey for years, and that kind of connection is rare. In my opinion, businesses should do everything they can to retain the people who help make them great--whether through better compensation, flexibility, or simply recognition. That said, I'll continue coming to Princeton Dental because the overall experience remains the best in the area. And wherever Kelly is, I sincerely hope she's doing well.

She was able to effectively find and treat a problem in one of my molars. My review has more to do with the office policies and the staff. So, I went for my first appointment and I was very happy, then I was referred to an endodontist and he was also very professional. I was scheduled with Gwinnett Family Dentistry (GFD) for a second appointment to finally get a crown in my molar, so they call me (GFD) and schedule my appointment, very nice lady, never mentioned any of their policies regarding changes or cancellations. On a Thursday, i receive a confirmation call from GFD and again, the nice lady never mentioned any of their policies or how long the procedure will take. So I confirm that I'm attending to my appointment, thinking that the procedure will take about an hour like in my first appointment, but what do I know??.. I'm just the patient who's never ever had a crown treatment before. So I call the day of my appointment, which was Monday, around 7:30-ish... I get Ingrid on the phone and I ask her how long is the treatment going to take? and she says "2 hours", and obviously I had no idea of the length because I was never informed. So I panic and I tell her that I can't make it because of work, I didn't know it would take 2 hours, and I have to reschedule..... I understand that I'm calling at the last minute, BUT.. Aren't they (GFD) supposed to inform you of these details before your actual appointment?? Anyways, she tells me there is a cancellation fee, and I tell her that I'm NOT cancelling, I'm rescheduling because I was not informed that the procedure would take that long. So she insists that is the same because is in the same day, less than 48 hours before my appointment. I get very upset, and I tell her that if they charge me a cancellation fee I will go to another dentists, obviously Ingrid doesn't care. She tell me that the administrator will be at their office the next day and she will call me... After a few minutes I call back and ask Ingrid how much the cancellation fee is?.... And her answer????.... " I don't know, the admin will call you tomorrow"... that never happened.... A week after, I receive a bill from them, it's only for $15, the original amount was $50 but after some credit they made I only "have" to pay $15, NOT my point... So my problem is..... Ingrid, works in that office, SHE tells me about the cancellation fee, but she doesn't know the amount.... So, how am I supposed to know about their policies if they never ever EVER mentioned them to me, the policies are not in their website and I was never informed by any of their staff, not when I scheduled my appointment and not when the nice lady called me to confirm my appointment.... But I have to know them????? Can someone please tell me what is the logic here????

Based on Yelp reviews, I tried Lipson Dental for a second opinion after a $10,000+ estimate from Buckhead's Best. Their communication and technology are first class. Dr. Kapur gave explanations and discussed options without pressure. Bottom line: Needed work is done with more durable options at half the cost. Plus excellent staff and pain management. Now, I have a health care Partner, not a Pusher.

Their dental staff is actually nice and the office is lovely, but their front desk and scheduling folks are terrible to work with and completely unsupportive and honestly, they're pricing is very high even with my insurance covering the majority of services. As they simply are too busy to schedule patients for months at a time, I highly recommend that they no longer accept new patients until their staffing is improved. This frustration and the way it was handled also caused me to withdraw myself and my husband from their care, so now they are down three patients, maybe now they'll have some availability for other folks -

I actually enjoy going to the dentist and have consistently gone every 6 months for years, so I know exactly what to expect from a routine visit. While the administrative staff was nice and attentive, my clinical experience with Dr. Patel felt more like a high-pressure "timeshare sales pitch" than a medical consultation. The first red flag happened when Dr. Patel recommended a specific cleaning that included a rinse/spray. When I told him I just wanted the basic cleaning covered by my insurance, he dismissed my preference. He stated he didn't know anything about my insurance coverage and refused to perform the basic cleaning. I later learned that his recommended cleaning came with an out-of-pocket expense of at least $100. The second red flag came when he displayed my X-rays on the big screen. He went over every tooth and recommended replacing old silver fillings with cosmetic white ones, along with several other costly procedures. When I questioned his recommendations, he became condescending and repeatedly asked if he had explained it well and if I even understood him.At that point, it became clear that I was dealing with a money-hungry dentist rather than a trustworthy provider whose primary focus is patient care.
