At the end of our visit as we setteled up, the office manager Susan stated, his plan wasn't accepted by them unfortunately, so his cost would be out of pocket. What in the world??? Why wasn't this checked on before we went back? If we had been given our paperwork to fill out ourselves since we got there on time, you could of called like your supposed to! I worked for an eye Dr for 4yrs & not 1 time did I ever have a patient step foot to the back without knowing if they had active coverage or not. And being their for 16yrs you should know better! I'm sure if the roles were reversed you wouldn't of paid the $161 my husband had to, and hope to be compensated for only partial of the amount thru insurance. The Dr, when this was brought to her attention, was very dismissive of the whole situation. But I'm sure she would feel differently had this been done to her! She offered no compensation of an sort, and essentially pushed us out the door, to be the optical centers problem, though like we said before "they don't accept his INSURANCE per Susan!" Real Classy!

I told her maybe so she interrupted me and said no not maybe it's true so after I told her she was rude and I knew that I said again maybe so but I am telling you specifically when my eyes declined and why it was literally within a recognized time frame caused by two prescriptions that acted negatively against each other. I had to tell this woman twice she was rude but, saying that didn't make a difference, therefore telling her my situation didn't either. I'm sorry doc I thought you telling the doctor your history is what your supposed to do. Upon leaving I picked up my coat and there was dust all over it after mentioning this to them they claimed some lame excuse and I told them what ⁉ hell it looks like you haven't dusted in a year

When trying to set up an appointment to get a re-exam to get a correct prescription, they said I would have to see the same doctor I initially saw and couldn't get me scheduled for at least 8+ days to see him. I thought the long wait times on my initial visit would be the worst of my experience, but it turns out it wasn't. I'd recommend finding somewhere else to go.

The second he put the prisms in my lenses, the nausea disappeared. My visual disturbance is getting worse but Dr Bowersox actually listened to me. His replacement listened too.
