RESPONSIVENESS - very fast, very responsive, very professional. A tad too frequent, but apparently roof repair is a competitive business. INSPECTION - scheduled and conducted efficiently; exceptionally thorough inspection report (David). COST - in line with all other quotes, which are apparently driven by the insurance estimate. Green Oak differentiation included owner interaction, master roofer certification, 5 star rating, excellent warranty, professional documentation and workflow management. WORK - scheduled efficiently, material arrived on time the day before, crew arrived on time the day of, work was conscientious and completed in 3/4 day (townhome), clean-up (including loose nail hunt) was impressively thorough. AFTER - received certificate of completion in a timely manner, along with photo record of repaired roof. Not being a roofer, it's difficult to assess the integrity of the new roof & shingles, however the end result appears clean and professional. Suspect the new, high-quality roof will increase the townhome value and/or decrease time to sell based on the high-quality products used and overall curb appeal of the work. Overall quite satisfied with Green Oak. Recommend.

I reached out to Green Oak after searching on Yelp (s/o), and was extremely glad I did. Brian H. took me through the process from start to finish, including an insightful explanation of the insurance claim process. The free estimate happened within a few days and ended up being lower than the insurance-assessed quote. He recommended a roof "tune up" as part of the package without pushing or trying to upsell me for more, which i really appreciated. He also accommodated my inquiry of adding on the installation of a bathroom exhaust vent cap, which was missing when we moved in. After being extremely reasonable on pricing and lighting-fast on responses, they scheduled and completed the work the day after signing. The team was efficient and respectful, with a huge attention to detail. TL;DR - Highly recommend giving Brian and Green Oak Exteriors a shot to help fix your home exterior issues, especially when you are in a bind with your insurance company!

So yes, I strongly recommend them for anyone who needs this type of service.

What i liked about them is that they were punctual. Early even. So early, no one was home yet. But I would MUCH rather you be early than late. Now for the work done: The first man (who was 6'8", I know because I asked, and because my house seemed to shrink when he entered) had a wrong spring. Apparently springs come in pairs, like left and right, and he had 2 left. So, he couldn't complete the job. If I wasn't in such a good mood, this would've bothered me. But, I wasn't moved, I just wanted my door fixed. The 2nd guy came a few days later. I wasn't home, so I can't speak on his stature, but he was earlier than expected, but he seemed patient. When I got home that evening, my door worked. Not only did it work, it was amazingly quiet. I like that! The only reason not a 5 star. Because it would've been nice to have it fixed the first time around. Other than that, I would recommend them.

He gave us a window manufacturer brochure and a ballpark price. We thought that was odd since two other window installers came in our house and wrote an estimate on spot and measured all the windows. He assured us that he would email us a formal quote by Monday morning with all the window specs like argon gas, R factor, SGH value, etc. We didn't receive the email on Monday and so i called him for the information. I left a voice message and he called back with no details at all. We were stymied why Mr. Mock didn't want to be honest and forthcoming and not answering our specific questions on price and window details. How can we compare prices between contractors if we never get the window requirements and specs? Very bizarre way he operates and not professional at all. His ballpark figure was 50 percent higher than another vendor with a cheaper, lower quality window (eg. Simonton). Randy R.
