I'm not sure of her role but she knows what she is doing and on top of everything. She took care of the previous problems I had. I walked out with what I needed! I also spent far less than I had been quoted at other places. The only downside is their transition lenses font change in the car. They don't offer those but they are less expensive as well. So far that hasn't really been an issue for me but it could be something I have to deal with at some point, I'd recommend them because I'm pleased with my glasses and Nanette is so good at taking care of the customers. Following behind us while we browsed. The first communication was not "Hi! How can we help you today?" It was "Do you have insurance?" Yes. "Who is it with?" One lady followed my wife around, and when she picked up one pair, the lady said to my wife "THOSE frames are $240!" My wife looked at her and said "OK." We decided to give them a shot since their prices were good, so my wife picked out her frames and sat down with them. The lady kept telling her about how much it cost before insurance and warning my wife how much the lenses she wanted cost, like we couldn't afford to be there. When she ran the insurance and told my wife the amount, my wife said she'd go ahead and pay in full right then. Her response was "Oh! Really?" The products they sell are great products, and their prices are very reasonable. But the people working at this particular store need to learn about how to treat everyone who walks through the door as a potential customer and not a potential thief or deadbeat.

Great customer service yesterday on a visit, was even encouraged to go outside and walk around with a pair I was considering that had a price tag of around $200 (Oakleys if you must ask). How's that for customer service and more importantly, trust? Probably my honest good looks (cough...). Colleen assisted me yesterday, was delightful and quite helpful when I explained my most pressing need in sunglasses (hiking, must rest comfortably under a tight fitting ball cap, good UV protection ,etc.). Good sanitation practices in use. Once you try on a pair they go into a special container for sterilizing. Hand sanitizer available for customers at the register. Lots of really cool things to look at, more than I probably should, but I knew specifically what I was in the market for so didn't take long to find my purchase, and now that I've worn them out and about for critical need activities like, oh, getting carry out tacos and my daily hike, I'm a happy customer. This is in The Legends shopping center, not exactly my favorite place in the world, but you can park within 50-75 yards easily enough, or at least for now with the pandemic still on you can.

Something is just odd about quietly swaying at the top of a department store quietly for such a long time. My daughter was like, "Dad, I'm scared to look down!" and all I could think was, "so am I, kid, so am I." We both agreed it's pretty fun once it gets going. There's also a little bowling area where you get five frames for a buck, and ditto to a little arcade game area as well. There's toy stores, outdoor goods, quality brands of clothes and outfitting, and really a nice answer to online shopping. In fact, it feels like malls used to feel in the 90's but a modern spin on everything. We did eat here but I'd say skip it. I didn't find anything I wanted and when I went to finish off my kids chicken tenders I was super underwhelmed and ended up pitching them. I will say at this time they carry Sylas & Maddy's ice cream (best IC in the city IMO) so that was a nice surprise treat. What more could you want if out shopping with the kids?! I don't have Eye insurance, but they do have a coupon on their website that you can print off for either a returning visit or a first time visitor. I also have to use another location of theirs in Overland Park for a specialized Eye test once a year. I believe that they will match any price for contacts that you find online as well. I choose to have my contacts purchased and sent to their location and that I pick them up so I don't have to worry about them in my mailbox. They have a nice selection of eyeglasses as well.
