I called the office on June 16 because my payment hadn't come out, and the front desk employee said everything was fine. I didn't learn about the cancellation until I called about my July payment, when I was told my premium would increase by $200 per month to reinstate coverage. I asked to speak with my agent but never got a call back. Instead, I spoke with Brenda, who stated she's "been doing this for 30 years and can assist me just the same". Super unhelpful and quoted me $570 per month for one car. When I said Progressive had quoted me $270 less per month, she dismissed it as a new customer discount. What concerns me most is that I never received a phone call, text, or email about the cancellation. The only notice I got was postmarked June 25, 2026, even though it said the policy was canceled effective June 15, 2026. Brenda also said they would send me to collections if I didn't pay. As a long-time customer, I expected much better communication and service. I will be reporting this to Florida Office of Insurance Regulation. Hope you guys can get new staff!
