He told me he would arrive in about an hour, and about ten minutes out gave me a courtesy call to let me know he was close by. He not only fixed the lock, he also tightened up the screws and the screen door (that would slam shut previously). Mark was courteous, kind, professional and knowledgeable throughout the whole experience. Definitely going with Mark again anytime we have any key/lock needs! Thank you!

But the people are very knowledgable, and they have their safes on hand so you don't just have to visualize what they will be (some things aren't meant to be online shopped). Their prices are probably not the cheapest, but again, you get to see and feel what you are getting. And if you want they will even deliver and install them for you (at an added cost of course). If I finally do decide to get a safe, i'll most likely buy it here.

Sure, we would have done it if necessary, but was that really the only option? Luckily, I found Fink Safe & Lock. They are true safe experts. With only manipulation, he was able to open it in about 30 minutes. Fink Safe & Lock is awesome. They are professional, true experts, and have clear passion. They are #1 in my book.

I highly recommend Chicago Locksmiths. Their level of customer service and communication is…read moreexcellent. I called them hoping for a same day appointment. It was late in the day because the original company I called was a no-show. Chicago Locksmiths said they could do it and gave me a same day time window. Excellent communication: The technician called me at the start of the time window to tell me he was on another job, but would be there within 2 hours. This allowed me to get on with my day rather than waiting by the window/the phone (as the other company had left me to do all day). The technician then called me when he had finished the previous job and gave me a time frame of when he would get to me. As it was quite late I decided to reschedule for the next day. The same evening Chicago Locksmiths called me to confirm a next day appointment time. On the morning of my appointment the new technician called to say he was on his way with an ETA for arrival and called when he reached me. The communication was excellent and meant I could do other things because I knew Chicago Locksmith was keeping me updated on the status of my appointment. For the appointment itself, the technician was great. Explained everything, gave me advice on one of the doors which was coming loose off the hinge. Re-keyed my lock quickly and cleaned up afterwards. I will certainly use Chicago Locksmiths again. Great service, and impeccable customer communication!

Perhaps he is of Irish heritage, I never had the opportunity to find out 1) I have seen over 300 photographs of his work This man is the very BEST if you are only looking for a handyman or have no assistance from even an essentially useless husband in the paint or a long hair clogged shower drain 2) Shay is a LIAR I appreciate that he was willing to drive out to The suburbs of Chicago from all the way East in Logan Square His estimate is NOT free as Yelp guaranteed He requires photographs (easy peasy) of the locks as well as *$45* to even come out to take a look He broke the Yelp Guarantee right there Chicago Locksmiths should be banned from Yelp same as nobody should have voted for Trump. There were zero good choices but at least ond was NOT a babbling dementia suffering 90 yeat old 3) Shay claims the his primary concern is home and auto safety If that were actually true then with photos in hand he has zero reason to have a $45 fee to take a look I have zero reason to take issue with Shay - especially his quality of work All that I know is that Shay LIED to Yelp in order to gain business and if that works for him, then I do not give a fxck I shall not be used I have Elite and All-Star status that I EARNED with Yelp and followers Every single one of my Yelp reviews are shared with Google I sincerely hope that my review discourages anybody and everybody from hiring Chicago Locksmiths

I paid the service fee for him to come and measure the lock I needed, as well as have him re-key another door. Paul is the person who has come to measure twice (both times being hours late) and even when I've gotten ahold of other people, they always direct me back to him saying I need to connect with him to find out if a lock can be installed. I would have called someone else months ago except when he originally came over he broke our door and said he would fix it when he came back the next time.
