Love the CO-OP!!! Always the first stop when we come down from Spokane…read more I always hit the bulk foods for Deglet dates, orange cranberries and whatever else I need. Then hit the bakery area for the local loaves. Scored the last loaf of cranberry walnut bread. The also had Santa Cruz 32oz bottles of lemonade, 4 bottles for $9.00!! These run $3.99 each at Yoke's! Even if I don't buy much, I love wandering around the store. Staff are very friendly & helpful too!

Oh, but THIS store! It's wonderful. It's all about the local food scene, and quality. The cupcakes in the bakery case are made there, and the pretty frosting designs were naturally colored. They bake their own breads. The deli line was led wonderful, there's a coffee stand, and the smoothies are made to order with real fruit, no mixes. The prepared foods case was also well stocked and generous with variety...I was able to find a delicious snack for the afternoon. The produce section is colorful and impressive...they even have Buddha's hand! This has an upscale Whole Foods vibe (pre Amazon ownership), and Moscow is lucky to have it. Adding a few words to hopefully trigger this in searches for vegan, organic, lunch and dinner, since it didn't come up in a search for those topics for me. I "discovered" the co op just driving by.

I don't raise livestock or have other need for a butcher, so head elsewhere if you are looking for…read morethat kind of info. What I can tell you about Dayton Cut & Wrap is that they make the BEST jerky and pepperoni I have ever eaten. I'm not sure of the hours or what other services they offer. I have no idea what the price of the jerky is, but the pepperoni is about $8 a pack, however much is in the pack remains unknown. The place smells incredible - like a giant bacon sandwich with a side of filet mignon. The pepperoni has a medium-mild spice to it and a texture that is foreign to anyone who has taken Randy Savage's steroid-enhanced offer to "snap into a slim jim." There is no mysterious cardboard-like filler or stringy casing residue on your palate - just real meat and spice goodness, with a surprisingly rich flavor. You will not be able to eat just one. The jerky is similarly impressive. If you are like me, I search the entire stock of Costco to find the jerky with the moisture intact - maybe even a little juicy or shiny underneath the thick plastic wrapper. It usually takes 10 minutes or so to find two of the perfect packages. The great irony is that my family usually leaves the bags open, rendering them just like the other bags left behind. Dayton Cut and Wrap's jerky is nearly gristle-free, has a full smoky or teriyaki flavor without being overly salty or bitter. Each piece actually looks like it came from a piece of steak. The texture is soft, with a little bit of chewiness. Anyway, if you need a butcher, I don't know if these guys are good or not. If you need ski snacks, these guys are the hook up. Look for a sign in the window signaling what they have to offer before stopping.

Just stopped here for the first time today…read more I always see the sign in the window for Pepperoni and hell who doesn't love Pepperoni and fresh is even better, well they are smoking the Pepperoni as I type this up 100 lbs of it so I will get some next week so I wasn't going to waste a trip I got me a pound of there smoked Beef Jerky its $18 a pound, and worth every damn cent this stuff was so full of flavor and the smoke was just right I can't wait till Monday when I go back threw town so I can get there smoked Pepperoni they also do German Sausage every 6 months and they have a new customer...........ME
