Very large waiting area with plenty of seating. Doctor was on time and very personable. Doctor was able to offer a plan with concrete next steps. All complex imaging procedures can be done onsite at their facility. Lots of specialty areas covered within the practice and well known for sports medicine. Several of the docs here are team doctors for CBJ. Also, this practice does not require a referral from primary care so it makes getting an appointment so much faster.

He surgically put a large steel plate and screws to repair her right femur bone. He is a down to earth man and surgeon. He took excellent care of my Mom. I have a thirty-three degree scoliosis curve that was just discovered two summers ago when I went…read morein to have x-rays taken for my sprained shoulder. I was super freaked to find out about my twisted spine, even more so when I started researching the surgery that corrects it. Let's just say it involves a pneumothorax, rib removal, metal rods/bolts, a few months of strict bed rest, and at least six months recovery to normal activities like brushing your hair and bathing yourself. Ugh. From the ER where I found out about my spine, I went to my family doctor, then a pain specialist (though I was in no pain), then to get more X-rays, then to a neurosurgeon in Marion who made me do a circus dance and measured me from just about every angle. The neurosurgeon said I was okay and that I just needed to be monitored via X-ray every five years or so. I was relieved and happy to hear that I didn't need the surgery. I avoided getting a second opinion because I was too afraid of someone telling me that the Marion surgeon was mistaken and that I needed surgery pronto. But, I recently mustered the nerve to visit Dr. Jason Dapore for a second opinion (and just to get a doctor closer to where I'm living now). Dr. Dapore is everything I hoped he would be. He is prime age for a doc - not too old and set in his ways, he is young enough to know about new technology and procedures. But he isn't too young so as to be inexperienced. He made me do the circus dance again and looked closely at my X-Rays. He let me ask him a zillion questions. He was very patient with me. He reassured me that I do not need the surgery now, and probably won't ever need it if I keep my back strong and flexible. He set me up with a physical therapy team in the same building where I'm learning a lot about and already feeling better about being proactive with my scoliosis. The rest of Dr. Dapore's staff is also excellent, and the building is top-notch. The waiting room is large with many options on where to sit and a skylight at the apex of the room. There's also a good variety of reading material from Highlights to Entertainment Weekly to the Dispatch. The ladies at the front desk even make an effort to memorize your name and pronounce it correctly. Plus, the two bathrooms in the front (bathrooms are my niche) are big and always clean. I would give Dr. Dapore 6 stars and a hug if I could, but alas, five will do.

I showed up 15 minutes early, checked in, completed all the paperwork, and sat down to wait... and wait. After I'd been there nearly an hour the television in the waiting room (which had been tuned to some daytime TV court show that I had mostly managed to ignore but was really surprised they kept on since there was a child in the room and it was initially about meth debts and crack moms abandoning kids) started getting even more severely offensive--in a very homophobic and transphobic direction. I asked the person at the desk if the channel could be changed or the show muted, she attempted to comply, then when the remote didn't work someone else came out from the back and turned it off. Promising... but then another woman (I'm assuming either the office or practice manager, since the other employees seemed to defer to her) came out and turned it back onto the same program and started to walk away with the remote. When I called out to her and asked again if the channel could be changed, she replied, "no, it's channel 28, it's Fox, if you have a problem with what they're playing call channel 28". When I reiterated that the show was offensive, she again told me to call channel 28 if I had a problem, but she wasn't going to change the channel or turn it off because "other patients shouldn't be deprived of the TV". Uh. Ok. So I asked if I should take my business elsewhere, and she said yes. Alright then. I left. tl;dr, this office apparently more highly prioritises keeping their waiting room TV on channel 28 than they do the comfort and care of their patients and ensuring they're not promoting hatred and bigotry to children. Definitely *NOT* GLBTIA friendly either.

They are incredibly well organized, the office is pleasant and cheerful, the staff is lovely and committed. And if the category is Weirdly Specific Awards, then this is the medical waiting room I'd be happiest waiting in. My therapist is usually Jenna (I love you, Jenna!), but others have pitched in on busy days. I've had such successful recoveries from both of these surgeries and this office (along with my surgeon) deserves the bulk of the credit. If you are in the Powell area, I really recommend this location. It's easy to get in and out of and the area is quiet.

I called to make an appointment and was seen within a week or so. As you entered the office, you sanitize your hands and then make your way to the desk. Every one was wearing a mask and then temperatures were taken. If you have been to any medical office lately it's the standard treatment! The check in didn't take long and we were taken back to a room in about 15 minutes or so. We were pleasantly greeted by the staff and had a short interview with his nurse. Dr. Hannallah came in the room shortly after that. He had reviewed previous X-rays and spent a very reasonable amount of time with us. He was very straight forward with his thoughts and diagnosis. I have arthritis and it's continuing to get worse. He recommended strongly that I should never have surgery on my back! He also said that he wouldn't operate on my back!. My pain is degenerative and there is some disc degeneration, in the lumbar region. He asked to have an MRI done and then to return for results. I appreciated Dr. Hannallah and his honesty. I have known doctors that kind of lead you on and won't be straight forward with you. I am thankful that I was assigned to him and appreciated the answers I was given. Next up- MRI!

What doctor say that. THe says lets do an MRI. I said OK. Then I called several times to find out about when and where the MRI would take place and noone gets back with me. Then two weeks later receive a bill for $400. When I tried to call to talk to someone, noone is available. I made my 11th call today and finally called a differenct location only for them to take my info (which I have alredy gone down that road), with no response. Noone ever calls back to talk to patients. I'm calling the BBB.
