The operators are helpful and call immediately to verify with me that nothing is wrong. After 28 years, I thought it was time to upgrade my old system. Mike Price from the Cedar Rapids office came out right away, inspected everything carefully, and suggested improvements like carbon monoxide detection and using a WiFi signal. He answered all of my questions promptly and explained the new updates thoroughly. The cost was extremely reasonable and prices of yearly monitoring are, too. Not only that, having this service qualifies for a discount with our home insurance company. If you want a system you can count on for peace of mind, a company that is always looking out for your best interests, and one that has a staff of knowledgeable, responsive, and helpful people like Mike, I'd give PerMar my highest recommendation!

We had them put up the system and 24 hours later we decided that we no longer wanted it and they said if this happened it would be fine and they would just cancel our account. Frustrated, I asked to talk to the owner of the company, and as quick as I asked, she immediately replied with, "I AM THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY!" A quick google search proved that wrong, so now she lied. I have never in my life wrote a negative review about any company but I will tell you, I could not in good conscience recommend this company nor will I ever use them again.
