The Chicken Tikka Wrap was also good but not quite as good. The chips that they came with were also very good. We also got a side of cheese fries with curry mayo which was very good and some milkshakes which weren't very good. It's a fast casual restaurant, so you order at the counter, find a seat, and wait for them to bring your food out to you. Our service was fast. I believe we were actually looking for someplace else. Ring's is what we found. We were drawn in by the sign outside the place: "Where the locals eat." That's usually an indication you're going to have a good experience. I will bore you totally by telling you I have celiac, but Ring's was able to accommodate me with a truly delicious gluten-free burger. Which is what necessitated multiple trips. The roll is the best I've ever had and, for a gluten-free burger, that makes all the difference. I'm writing this now because, of course, the pandemic makes it impossible to travel now, but if we could we'd surely visit Westport again. And I would no doubt resume my romance with Ring's. I should say that they served up very good vegetarian dishes as well, as my daughter will attest. We never had anything less than a wonderful meal there.

You can get seated but don't be surprised that a few guys wander in and sit down and sit down and their food gets out before yours does. They are locals and make reservation and the cafe already knows what they are going to order and it's ready by the time they sit down. Didn't bother us a bit and why would it. Take care of the regulars and they will take care of you. If we are ever back in Ireland and get to Westport this is the first place we will check to see if it is still in business. I arrived around 6:30 and the parking lot was packed, I assume from the dinner rush from the restaurant next to it. When I came back home after dinner, I was disappointed to find out that the radiator was not working (I also later found out that they turn it off from midnight - 6am which doesn't make sense to me since those are the coldest hours). It is cold outside, so I was thankfully that I packed a sweater to wear during sleep. The most annoying thing is that the shower water does not get hot. It only stays warm, so if you like hot washers, you'll have to adjust to the cold/warm water only. The only way to communicate with the manager is through phone call- so if you're traveling internationally it's almost impossible to communicate them since they don't reply on Airbnb chat right away. I do think the room is nice and clean, and the bathroom is a decent size. If it wasn't for the issues with heating, I would recommend this place. Muffins: The apple crumble muffin looks delicious and it does have apple inside, but it tasted like it could have been baked for 5 minutes more. The walnut muffin has what seemed like Dulce de leche - I enjoyed this one more than the apple one.
