We recently hired Santanas Landscaping to completely transform our backyard, and I can honestly say…read morethat Daniel and his team exceeded every expectation we had. Our backyard started as a rough, outdated space with an old shed that had become a major eyesore, a lawn overrun with weeds, and a large amount of old concrete that needed to be removed. One of the biggest challenges was that all of the demolition debris had to be taken out through a very tight access point, but the crew handled it efficiently without any issues. From start to finish, Daniel and his team were organized, professional, and incredibly hardworking. They removed the shed, demolished and hauled away all of the old concrete, cleared the overgrown lawn, and completely transformed the space. The quality of the materials they used was excellent. They built a beautiful stone patio exactly the way we envisioned it, installed an elegant pathway accented with Mexican river rock, and created two separate areas--one for our pool and another with fresh sod for a small lawn. The finished project turned what was once an unusable backyard into a peaceful retreat where our family loves spending time. What impressed me most was the pride they took in their work. Every detail was carefully completed, and the craftsmanship really shows. Their pricing was fair, and after seeing the final result, I can confidently say the project was worth every penny. If you're looking for a landscaping company that is reliable, professional, fairly priced, and delivers outstanding results, I highly recommend Santanas Landscaping. Daniel and his team did an amazing job, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family

If you're looking for a professional, responsive and competitively priced contractor, stop looking…read more My concrete front porch and steps had rusted out and was no longer safe to use. I did my research and contacted several contractors who made appointments to visit and provide a quote. Needless to say, most weren't interested I guess, because several didn't show up after making appointments or when they did their quotas were ridiculously high. Eduardo of Eagle Roofing & Masonry was by far the most professional and responsive contractor I've ever dealt with and I'm a Director of Operations for a high rise! Most importantly, after completing the project, there were a couple of minor issues, but Eduardo was more than happy to come back and take care of them. Lastly, Eagle Roofing is the kind of contractor you've been looking for.

Update! Its been two winters and part of the walkway has not…read moreheld up. When I let Eduardo know, he went back and forth with me via text for about 39 minutes saying I used salt on the concrete. That was it, he took no accountability, just that I used salt and ruined my own walkway I spent thousands on. He then offered to see it in person (which he should have just said in the first place) and told me over and over I used salt during the winter. Anyone who knows me knows that I wouldn't use salt and in fact have been using sand. He asked to see the bag, I brought it up and then he said, I was using salt. He then asked how many people live in the building (not important, the city sidewalk doesn't look like this, neither does the walkway in the back, which is decades old). It was really weird and he took absolutely no accountability for what might have happened, as I only stated the work was not aging well. He just kept saying he did a good job, etc and that I used salt. After all of that, he said he could fix it (sir, you should have led with that). The price he gave was high and ultimately I didn't think I should have to pay more for work that didn't really hold up after 2.5 years. So just know if you get concrete work and it looks bad after a few years, he'll blame you over and over before finally offering an expensive solution.

A True Gem! Our Family Handyman for 15 Years…read more Alex has been our family's handyman for over 15 years, and honestly, I don't know what we would have done without him. He is skilled, reliable, resourceful, and can fix just about anything! We had an 1898 home, so there is always something that needed attention. Over the years, Alex has tackled projects both big and small, including interior and exterior painting, roof repairs, carpentry, tuckpointing, cement repair, tile work, laying thresholds and pavers, replacing hose bibs and toilets, swapping out light fixtures and other fixtures, unclogging sinks, repairing door hinges and handles, and troubleshooting dozens of those random old-house issues that seem to appear out of nowhere. He has also done extensive yard work for us, trimming box hedges, fertilizing, replanting, and helping keep the property looking beautiful. At one point, we discovered birds living in a corner of the roof. Alex sealed up the opening so perfectly you would never know there had ever been a problem! Perhaps most importantly, Alex helped us care for our senior parents and their home. He installed handrails for safety and was always willing to come help with whatever needed to be fixed or maintained. Having someone trustworthy, capable, and dependable made such a difference and helped our parents stay safely and comfortably in their home. Alex is now available. Scoop him up! Good handymen are hard to find. Thank you, Alex, for everything you've done for our family and our beloved old house. We are incredibly grateful!

Pros - The quote Fernando gave me was fair, and he and his team did a decent job…read more Cons - If he agrees to do the job, be prepared to be ghosted or have your time wasted. He came a day later than he told me he would, without telling me ahead of time. Replaced my mulched area with gravel without telling me. He also left a giant pile of gravel on my lawn for a full day, killing a big patch of grass. I needed paver bricks laid, and he rebuilt pillars on the patio without telling me. While rebuilding the pillars, he cut the wire that was connected to light fixtures that are on top of the pillars. Fernando would not admit that he cut the wire, but I confirmed with an electrician that there is no power running to the end of those wires, so they were cut along the way. After weeks of calling Fernando and asking him to come out to take a look at the light fixtures, he either never responded or ghosted me. Stay safe and spend a little more money to have work done by people that won't damage your property and won't waste your time.

Chad kept us informed every step of the way, from what work was being done, to the estimates completion date. When he showed up for the estimate, he gave us some options, took some measurements and we had a written estimate before he left. From approving the estimate to the materials showing up was only two weeks! The crew (Andy and Jack) showed up every day ready to work and did so tirelessly until the end of each day. They asked great questions to make sure nothing got damaged or misplaced, and the finished product was better that we had hoped! All scrap was removed and our yard was left in great condition. The job took six days for removal of old material and installation of new siding, soffit, fascia and gutters. Most importantly, the wife is happy!

We were waiting on another quote, but we decided to stick with these guys. No regrets! They came on a day we had a snow storm (ran a little behind, but totally understood based on the weather!) They worked tirelessly all day and got the job done so we could have our flooring installed nice and even over this slightly sloped but now beautifully level floor! See my pics of before and after! It was a large, difficult, multi-faceted job. Areas that could be improved upon include project timing (the project extended beyond the expected timeline), cleanup (protection of established plants, daily site cleanup, etc.) and communication (Christian was responsive when the project was full-steam ahead, but not easy to reach other times). These are common across many construction companies. Especially in the busy Summer months. The Cornerstone team worked tenaciously throughout the project. And the results are beautiful. We've received many positive comments from neighbors and those who pass by our rejuvenated 120 year-old greystone. Many thanks to Christian and the Cornerstone team.
