This establishment has constant refrigeration problems. We lost power for 2 weeks in January and they left all the dairy, ice cream, all perishable products were left for the community to purchase. I assumed they threw the stuff away, all other stores did. So I continued to purchase my 2 year-olds milk from 13 mile. My son got super sick, the milk i bought was spoiled, all of us that drank it got sick. I tried to address it with "happy" the employee and he said that they would not replace the product and would continue to sell it. Today at 10 am I went in to get a coffee from the fridge and it was hot. I told the employee, she got ahold of the employee, Happy and he came in. I asked him if he would be replacing the hot dairy products, he again told me "no" and said that if I didn't like it, I don't have to shop there, he yelled at me, as I was walking out the store, I got to my vehicle and he was still by my open windows yelling at me. I had to tell him numerous times to stop interacting with me. It was highly inappropriate, I had my son in the car. I highly encourage everyone to take there business to the brand new AMPM down by the Sly Park exit. They have refrigeration that works and my family has never gotten sick from there products. Oh and there employees wont follow you out to your vehicle and yell at you, AMPM treats there patrons with respect and kindness. read more

Stopped today and walked out without my change. Totally my fault, was in a bit of a hurry. Probably wouldn't have remembered until I got home - waaaaaay too late. The attendant came out and gave me my $10 while I was pumping my gas. THANK YOU for being an honest man! Would give him 5 stars just for that but I don't stop for anything but gas so can't speak to the rest of the store. read more

Great place to stop if you ned gas. a littl eover priced but so is everything in pollock pines. The owner is very very nice. the only thing i dont like is that the pumps are sometimes really slow...it takes 10-15 minutes to get 5 gallons...other than that I enjoy the service read more

I think the old owner sold and they are now having growing pains. I punched in all the info (which is a lot if using the Safeway card) and when it said start fueling, I looked down and the pump was locked! So I had to leave the pump (with my credit card info) and go inside to find the new owner (I guess) and tell him that the pump was locked. He wanted me to wait to "Hear my side of the story." What? I said if you have to lock a pump you put a sign on it saying it's locked. He wanted to talk. I walked, and won't be back for a while, until they get their act together. And the helper was outside with me, watching me push buttons, and did not say a thing, except empty the trash and smoke a cigarette. read more

U HAUL STATION HORRIBLE Absolutely the worst rental experience I've encountered in fifty years. Approx half hour phone time re reservation; sent to FRESH POND Chevron, which has no U Haul. Told numerous other prior customers had similar experience ( So much for IMPROVING service) Two hours to complete the rental process after finding the correct location miles away. Not advised of hitch ball size during reservation process. No balls available for rental. 45 " waisted time. Standard 7 pin receptacle unable to plug in trailer male connection. Another trip to Auto Parts store for adapter (none available at rental location. Had to wait at counter while sole employee answer multiple phone calls, sold gasoline, cigarettes, coffee, and candy to multiple patrons. Employee had to reenter all information provided during reservation process. Additionally reservation employee lied to the man completing the rental agreement, claiming I had hung up before completing the reservation process. (Not true) When I asked for fee for one way rental, employee unable to provide. Told to phone UHaul for cost at destination point. ( Later learned one way fee Originally $54 was approximately an $235 for a one-way 25 mile trip. Rental location is a GASOLINE STATION with little to no knowledge of trailers for rent. If you are a U-Haul customer, get ready to WAIT for EVERY retail customer who walks in, whether they purchase petrol/gasoline or not to be taken care of no matter how long you have been waiting for assistance for a U-Haul truck or trailer. Retail customers can just walk in and purchase chew, Lotto cards, cookies, etc. and they WILL HAVE PRIORITY over you, immediately serviced over the U-Haul customer who has been waiting. During which time you are told, "you have to wait, be patient, you have to wait, be patient, you have to wait, be patient, I have customers to take care of." This is all without explanation, just told, "be patient, you have to wait." If you challenge, even voice dissatisfaction and expectation, your reservation will be canceled, told to go to another U-Haul provider locations, and then asked to leave the store. U-Haul is NOT happy, but the customer service, no U-Haul customer service, until the owner is comfortable and no retail customers are in the store no matter how many and how long! But the owner will have a friend behind the counter who chat with the customers, yet, doesn't work there, or does?! I strongly recommend, if you have ever received this same service within the last year, April 2016 to-date, contact U-Haul at 1.916.501.9547. Until U-Haul is notified, they do not think there is an issue. The computer systems are separate, re: U-Haul and retail, no need to make the U-Haul customer someone wait, who stands there for service. I asked the U-Haul customer ahead of me how long this was taking. She indicated, this whole process has taken nearly 2 hours. Why?! Off to get the business license number and report this to BBB.
