All around great experience! From scheduling to the tow pickup, everything was easy and efficient. Our driver went above and beyond for us and we are so appreciative. With our truck broken down, we had been unable to bring our trash to be picked up for almost two weeks. Our driver allowed us to load the cans in our truck and follow him to the end of our road to unload them before trash day. He assisted my husband and was extremely kind throughout. I was connected through my insurance company, but given the experience, I would return and recommend Extreme Towing 10//10 times. read more

My vehicle was taken, and I am now being charged an unreasonably high amount to retrieve it. As a 32-year-old single individual working a part-time job, it is extremely difficult for me to manage this financial burden. Despite explaining my situation, the company has offered no assistance or support. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. read more

I just recently had my vehicle transported to my new place deep in the hills, it's a very difficult path to my garage and requested a special request to get it there. Dispatch was so helpful and awesome to work with, but Joe the operator did me a super solid and got my ride all the way to the garage under some crazy conditions, he was definitely the HERO of the day for me! I will be using Extreme again and be referring them to any and all I hear that need an awesome service, thank you all and I hope you have an awesome July 4th! read more

Our LS1 Trans-Am would not start after our Mexican Dinner in Diamond Springs, so we contacted Extreme Towing. R.C. Rolled up in a huge flat bed International tow truck and he loaded up Salty-Dog the Trans-Am and strapped it down with big chains and 4 yellow safety straps. The truck was warm and cozy, and Snacky asked R.C. to tell some fun towing stories. This guy is an awesome Driver, and saved the day for us!!! We give 5.5 stars to R.C. !!!! just the best towing job EVAH !! Me and "Snacky" say this is the best towing company in California! read more

On our drive home from Burning Man, the water pump on our bus went out and started making a horrifying noise. Good lord, what were we going to do? A massive van, towing a trailer with all manner of nonsense strapped to the outside. Matt from Extreme Towing showed up and said, "Oh, don't worry, this is easy." He towed us and our generator all the way home. He was really helpful, professional, and kind even while dealing with 100+ degree weather and a weird situation. read more

Waaaaaaaaaay too expensive. $500 for a tow. Crazy! Didn't even have time to cancel and use AAA for FREE. They really hook you and won't refund you. The only thing they have going is nice drivers. Which I'm sure they don't pay nearly enough. They need to work on their rates and cancellation policy. read more

I am soooooo grateful for Extreme Towing and especially Dispatch Nicole and driver AJ. I was locked out of my car on a Sunday at noon. My AAA said a driver could be avail in 2 hours (not from Extreme)... I was okay waiting because I knew it was a busy day on Highway 50 and we were in a remote area. The company called me and basically told me they couldn't do it after all (dang!). I ended up finding Extreme on my own ... and Nicole was quick to say they could do it and referred back to AAA to redirect the call. Within 45 minutes driver AJ was meeting me and got the car keys out in 5 mins. I'm new to the mountains and now know I will always call Extreme Towing. Why call anyone else! Thank you Nicole and AJ read more

These guys are amazing. Quick, professional, with excellent customer service. The price wasn't too steep either. The driver, Sam, was super personable and knew exactly what he was doing. I had been dreading finding a towing company and having to deal with waiting around all day, but from the time I called Extreme Towing to when the job was complete it only took about an hour and a half, and an hour of that was round trip drive time. These guys are on top of it. read more

My driver didn't give up even though I was very hard to find, on a forest service road, for a lock out. I was so impressed. Matt from Extreme Towing delivered our new ship container.  He was here when promised and placed it EXACTLY where we had it marked out.  Matt was friendly and accommodating.  He knew how to handle this static load and had clearly done it many times prior. Two words.... TOM ROCKS! He just delivered our new shipping container and I can't truely express how pleased I am with his service, knowledge, and promptness! First off--customer service was excellent. From dealing with the office staff up to the driver Tom. We felt like we were in good hands during this whole process. His experience and knowledge were very apparent by how he placed our container exactly where we wanted it. To finish off this stellar experience, He was prompt in showing up and while here we felt that he did not waste time (we paid by the hour). Quick note is that he was prompt but NOT rushing nor being unsafe. The price was perfect and absolutely fair! So finally this review is all wrapped up with a smile and this doggie gives a big fat 5 stars to these guys!! read more

4th tow truck driver assigned to my car through a third party roadside assistance program... the other three cancelled without notice, leaving us stuck for hours. Tom arrived and was friendly, courteous, and said "no problem" he would get our car on the flatbed... even though we couldn't even shift into neutral. Best experience, thanks Tom!!!! read more

Was broken down and arranged a tow from AAA. AAA could not be there until after 4:00 a.m. . After waiting some time I called Extreme Towing instead. I was told it would be 45 minutes and $250. I confirmed that I was going to cancel my other tow and have them come since it was only going to be 45 minutes. Confirmed four times that it would be 45 minutes. After an hour and a half I called back and then was told the driver fell back to sleep. 3 hours passed! My car was loaded on the tow truck after 4:00 a.m. I should have just kept AAA. The driver was nice though, although I would rather have not heard about his politics and stuff non stop. read more

Our insurance contact them to have our car towed. We were nice to enough to say ok to a next day delivery. Little did we know, items in the car were stolen. Owner said he interviews the two drivers n both said they didn't steal . Well am I surprise at the response ? No! After a long email from Bruce insinuating it is not possible for anyone that works for them could possible be a thief, they offered $50 gift card. Our item was worth a lot more . I told them to keep it bc they must need it to be stealing from their customers. If u have no choice but to u them , do not give them the key or allow our car to be there overnight read more

Dispatch was awfully rude. She was so disrespectful & not pleasant at all to speak with. Hung up on me before I even could finish my sentence. This review is long, long, LONG, overdue! But unfortunately I lost the business card Sean had given me and just found it now. Better late than never, but sorry guys this took me so long! These guys are the greatest, and their service is the best I've ever received. My mini cooper reversed backwards at a gas station, slamming into a tree, and ended up wedged on top of the concrete outlining the gas station. Simply hooking it up and pulling it off would have damaged my entire underside. These guys went out of their way, Sean and his boss (apologies, can not remember his name), to manage to get my tires onto planks of wood and lift my car up, so that they could properly roll it off the concrete guard without totaling my car. They took their time, and the process took about 3 hours, but they were friendly and as careful as they could be. Ultimately they finally were able to get my up and onto the towing truck without any further damage caused beneath my car. Since I was stuck in El Dorado Hills, Sean gave me a ride back to my apt which was about 30 minutes away, and carefully placed my car in the parking lot while giving me advice and making sure I was okay. So BRAVO TO THESE GUYS! They went out of their way and above and beyond in taking care of my car, no matter how long it took or how tired they probably were. Plus giving me a free ride home. Bless these men! I'm sorry it took me so long to finally write a review. But both the men that helped me deserve a raise! Definitely call on these guys if you ever need help. They will get it done! read more

Tom from Extreme Towing is amazing! My husband and I were camping up in Ice House (Union Valley) and although we pay a Premium AAA membership, none of the "independent contractors" towing this day were willing to come out to us and drive us home to Rocklin CA. Bought a car from dispatch that was advertised on Craig's list as smogged and tagged. Just went to the DMV and the car had fake tags and has never been smogged.
