They promised to come out in 60 to 75 minutes. They never showed. We called, they said another 30 mins. After 45 minutes they still did not show. We called. This time we were told that the call-out was cancelled. They did not contact us, we had to find out by repeatedly calling them. We never received a reason why or who cancelled the call-out. Unless you like waiting in the cold for hours for people that do not show, I highly recommend that you do not use this towing company. read more

Our van went out on us on high 50 going east bound and a tow truck from Kessler's Towing came out and he was very upset, he says we give him incorrect location and I informed the tow driver that I spoke with my insurance company roadside towing services dept and am not sure what direction they give him. My insurance company roadside towing services dept called to check to see if tow truck showed up yet and while I was on the phone with them, tow truck driving was yelling at me saying "aren't you going to tell them that I went to El Dorado Hills Blvd. You not gonna tell them. Tell them, them that I went to El Dorado Hills Blvd". I mentioned it to my insurance company roadside service that tow driving is upset about it. They say they'll contact Kessler's Towing to clear miss-communication. Since there's only 2 sits in tow truck, my girls and I waited for my niece to pick us up and husband and son went with tow truck. My niece got loss trying to find us and my husband was busy giving her direction and tow driver went crazy on my husband saying " I know you don't like me and I can drop your car right here right now. You are not saying anything to me but I know you don't like me." My husband was not sure why the tow truck driver was saying that. Now, that we are home and save, we did some research and realized that if a tow truck driver hook up your car and you tell them not to tow it, you still have to pay them the tow trip which is the full amount as if they towed your car. NEVER EVER use this tow company. SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. read more

Oh boy I was driving home from work today and a tow truck was very close to the back of my car. He would press on the gas to get closer and then let off. This happened a few times. He then pulled beside me flipping me off yelling obscene words. I couldn't believe it. I'm sure the owner would not be happy this person was representing his company. I woke up this morning to hear a clicking noise coming from my truck and it was turned off. The battery was dead I had no idea what to do so we called around to a bunch of different mechanic shops and everyone said it would be at least $100 just to look at my truck! I asked for a flatbed because my trucks manual says it's required. They showed up with a dolly style and refused to tow me. The driver threatened me when I showed him the manual and then pulled the switcheroo and stole my pink slip. He also damaged the driveway with the tow bar. I called the manager and he told me to go fudge myself, then he told me to come down to his office so he could beat me up. I had an appointment and work to do. I spent the whole day dealing with these pricks so they could then deny towing me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They will destroy your property and vehicle read more

On 11/30/11 my 95 Honda Accord broke down in Folsom, CA. My auto insurer 21st Century was phoned and they sent Kessler's Towing to assist. My insurance covers $75.00 towing and Gary the tow truck driver said it would cost $35.00 plus the $75.00 coverage to tow my car to 501 C Street (JC Automotive), Sacramento. Instead, Gary insisted on $110 cash (and was paid) in addition to the $75.00 insurance coverage. The towing distance was only 26 miles according to GPS, and Kessler ripped me off for $185!!! Additionally, I phoned Kessler on 12/9/11 and again on about 12/26/11 to complain and "Ron" promised twice to refund me $55.00, but no payment has been received. This tow service provider is rated very, very low in my book and my recommendation would be to avoid doing business with them. read more

Quite possibly the worst service I have ever received from any company, ever. I called them to arrange a tow for my car which had overheated. I was informed they would be there within 50 minutes. I was on the side of a major highway out in the open. The driver (and I believe owner) told me he could not find me, and after several phone calls, ended up telling me that he wasn't going to drive around looking for me wasting fuel. It's like he wanted me to draw him a map and email it to him from the side of the highway. He was extremely belligerent on the phone, being sarcastic and basically making fun of me, telling me I didn't know where I was, when I very clearly did and explained to him exactly where I was. I gave the same exact instructions to a relative, and to the next towing company I called after the blow-up with Kessler's. Neither had any trouble finding me. Only Mr. Magellan from Kessler's had any difficulty. What struck me more than anything was just the attitude and tone of voice of the person "helping" me on the phone. From the start before there was even a problem I got a very clear feeling that this person couldn't give a $&#% of what was going on and what the situation was. It was like they'd rather be doing anything else in the world than towing cars. To any person reading this: STAY AWAY. You will most likely be talked down to and insulted for your trouble, and your already-bad day will get even worse. Mine certainly did. read more

We kept calling the day of the pick up, they kept saying they would be there any minute. They strung us along for 2 hours and NEVER SHOWED. I cannot believe the type of service i have received from this company. They were called out to unlock my vehicle through my insurance company. The guy that arrived took over 20 minutes to unlock my vehicle. In the process of doing so he scratched the outside panels and the inside frame of my door. His response to it, no apology, more of a shrug and heres my card. I could not believe it. After I called my insurance company back to file a claim on the guy; they came back out to assess the damage another day. That day they called to let me know they were there, before I even got out to my car, they were already trying to put an air compressor into my vehicle without my permission. The guy Dick, yeah his name is Dick, began to dispute that the damage could have been done by the bar the guy used. I told him I wasn't going to argue with him. He spent 10 mins trying to tell me how it couldn't have been done by them. Finally he had the nerve to ask me "if we fix this will that fix the problem?" umm, yeah! that's why I filed a claim to get it fixed! My car died out in a parking lot in Folsom. I tried to jump the battery 3 times but it died out once you stepped on the brake so I couldn't even drive it. Called my insurance roadside assistance and they sent out Dick from Kessler's towing. Dick was great! Very friendly and nice. Got my car towed back home to Natomas in 40min! (It was afternoon rush hour traffic which probably would've taken us over an hour) Thank you Dick for all your help! read more

my customer had his car towed into our repair shop and they broke his oil pan. accidents happen, it's been a couple weeks since this happned 12/29/2016 and they told my customer the oil pan would be here wed jan 4th never showed. then they told him it would be here on monday jan 9 and it has not showed up. car has been stuck in my repair bay since dec 29th 2016. they finally dropped off the oil pan today 1/12/17 and were apologizing about the wait. read more
