Car broke down in the mountains this weekend and John picked us up. Such a nice guy and got to us quickly and safely. 100% recommend and we are so grateful for this company! read more

usually only end up on the side of the highway when my life choices catch up with me, but this time it was just a dead alternator. Enter AC Towing & Transport, arriving like absolute legends in a giant flatbed chariot. Manny the driver was an absolute rockstar. He was so fast, efficient, and surprisingly comforting that for a split second, I forgot my car was broken and felt like a VIP being chauffeured away from my own poor maintenance decisions. Request Manny if you can--10/10, would break down again just for the vibes." read more

They told me my car was unusable, and my tires were flat and they you to sign the title. When I was taking my stuff out of my vehicle, I turned on my car and it worked perfectly fine. Bunch of crooks. read more

Jeremiah and his team and AC towing are absolutely amazing. Someone rear ended me while I was driving my dump truck 10-wheeler and broke my back axle so the truck required a massive flatbed. They sent someone down asap and got me off the side of the road and back to their body shop for repairs. They were awesome. Best tow company I've ever worked with. Highly recommend them. read more

Ricky Henry is excellent at what he does, very professional and friendly and works quickly once knowing the problem at hand and deciding the best way to fix the problem. I got my car stuck between boulders and he took pictures and went about extracating the car from between the boulders without scratching the car. He worked quickly and consistently. It was very dark out and he came north from South Lake Tahoe to almost Meeks Bay. I am so grateful to Ricky and his partner. read more

GREAT SERVICE! Today hubby and I went to the Sly Park area to do some quading. We pulled off road and when we got out we seen the trailer axel was broken! Since we have AAA we called them first. After spending 30+ minutes trying to navigate their AI call center I finally got a live person after pressing 0 a dozen times. All to be told even thou we have towing coverage they would not tow a trailer. Found AC Towing and after one ring a human answered and helped us out. The team arrived and got the trailer loaded and back home in Elk Grove. Thank you so much for your great service. read more

I ran off the road in the caldor burn area. I called aaa, told them I need a truck with a boom. The first truck that showed up. Was a competitor tow company. The driver barely looked at the problem and decided he wouldn't do it. Then the A.C. showed up with boom truck. No problem. Had my car up and driving down the road in an hour. Driver was Andrew. Always polite and respectful. Thank you, Andrew. read more

AC Towing - My car, off the side of the road. I was very nervous it would flip over. Andrew Rocks! - Towing Near Me - Placerville, California

Driver handled everything perfectly it was a pleasant ride to my destination. I will definitely request this driver if needed again. He also helped me with a flat tire a few days before read more

I called Jeremiah and needed a sea container moved, with shelving and contents in it. He was awesome and very professional. Price was excellent and there was a shelf full of mason jars on it. Not a single thing broke in the container. I would recommend these guys to anyone. If you have a problem with them, then you are the problem as far as I'm concerned. read more

What a great company. I lost my key fob and my car was in my garage with no ability to start. I needed my car towed to the dealership. We have a steep curvy driveway. It took one truck to get it out of the drive and onto the street so the long bed could load it up and transport. The guys were so nice and eager to help. Can't say enough good things. Thanks for making a stressful situation easy. read more

Best tow company I've ever dealt with in Lake Tahoe fast and very professional highly recommend

We were charged for $710 for just 10 minutes haul from roadside to the nearby parking lot for snow chain installation. The service was called by local police, so it's harder for me to argue for the pricing. They claim they need 90 minutes for them to reach me, that means they also charged me during the waiting time for $360 per hour. Their truck's service was good, but I just cannot understanding their pricing. read more

Our vintage car was getting a new paint job. After it was finished we needed to tow it to our home. AC Towing was available to take the tow. We really appreciated the drivers knowledge. Our car was delivered safely back to our home. Thank you AC Towing & Transport! read more

Nice people, fast response I broke down on 50 they got me home. Decent price for semi truck and trailer towing. More than fair on the hours.

First off not going to knock my driver/flatbed operator he was hella cool! Andrew. I got quoted from Manny $358 from grizzly flats to Pine Grove 47.9 miles couldn't get Uhaul full car dolly for my car there so I I called Uhaul in Placerville prior to tow which had a full car dolly and was half the distance of tow 22.9 miles away but double the cost senseless I would give 0 stars if I could! This is just my experience hope everyone else has better luck. Paid $735. And for the the company to know I have the black Mercedes Benz who collided with a deer that started and drove on the tow truck and off! From your yard to my location was 23 miles away now that I have wifi I can generate all the equations. Which means you ripped me off! $358 to $735 read more

These guys took good care of me in the middle of the night when my truck cracked a piston. They hauled my truck and 5th wheel to where I needed to be and then came back the next day to help me get my trailer put in a campsite. Great customer service! read more

We had the worst experience ever with them. They totally overcharged us because we got there a few minutes after midnight and they charged us a gate fee and an extra day of keeping our car there. Just generally ridiculous prices (ours ended up coming out to about a thousand dollars) and really poor customer service. Don't choose this place. Friendly towing is much better. read more

Coming here to let everyone who comes across this review to run and steer clear from this business. My car NEVER had any issues turning on until after I picked it up. They tried to jump my vehicle and I'm almost 100% sure they did it backwards and shot my entire computer system. $600 later on fixing issues lost days of work. I highly recommend never working with them. I will be speaking to the owner to be reimbursed for ALL damages. Or we can settle it in court. Up until the day my car was towed and in your possession it has NO issues. They don't take care of your vehicle. Beware. Take the time to research other tow yards. Wish Kessler tow was still around probably the only honest tow yard to have ever been around in placerville. read more

When I called for a tow the office staff were very helpful. I had great service. Hopefully I won't need a tow again, but I will recommend them to my friends and family if they need one. read more

I am SO thankful to AC Towing and John, in particular, for being there to help me when I needed it. AAA was slow to figure things out, but once AC was involved everything went so smoothly. John, who was conscientious and careful with my car, showed up quickly and started to problem-solve. My car was pretty stuck, and he worked diligently to get it out, without causing any damage. I am so grateful to AC and John for helping me when I needed it. Call them if you need assistance! read more

5 stars for this tow company I would give it ten if I could. My car was stuck in the middle of the road basically hanging off a cliff out in the middle of know where even google couldn't find me. First tow company picked up the phone and said nope don't know what to tell you. Mind you this was on a sunday. When I called this company the lady I talked to was working from home and stayed on the phone with me and her husband whom she sent to find me because nobody else could. When he got there he was absolutely the friendliest tow truck driver I have ever had to deal with in my 65 years of life. Got my car out with no damage and I really feel these two people went the extra mile. I have never written a review for any Business before and I feel they deserve much more then a good review. Thank You, read more

If having a vehicle towed is ever a pleasant experience this was it. We needed to have our diesel motorhome towed to Sacramento for repair. I called AC Towing and was treated with care and concern on the phone. Adam showed up prior to our appointed time. He was very pleasant and reassuring as he took great care hooking up our RV for the tow. The entire process took less time than anticipated and cost less than expected. I highly recommend this towing service should you ever need one. read more

Had the best experiance with AC Towing today. Colton was great! Polite, efficient and quick. The office was Amazing. I run a buisness here in Pollock Pines and these guys made that a priority. Thanks so much guys, KingPin really appreciates your service! read more

I had a vehicle towed in Nov 2022, after talking to the company representatives on the phone they lead me to believe my insurance would cover the bill. The whole time they were charging me $70 per day for a wreaked vehicle to sit in their lot for a month. Two months go by and I get a bill from a lien company for $2300 for storage. Very deceptive. Use another company. read more

Excellent service, very professional, on time and courteous. My truck was hooked up and we were on our way in less than an hour.

AC was amazing! They pick up their phone right away and most importantly they weren't afraid to help us. It was a limousine that we needed a tire changed on. The other roadside service companies we tried all asked several questions which it looks like they do before they decide if they want to take your job or not, and being that it was a limo it seems to have scared a few off. This will be the only company that we call from now on! read more

One phone call to move a special old truck with some special handling involved. These folks were on it! I texted a photo of the truck and they were here in a timely manor with the right equipment for my job. These gentlemen know what they're doing, they treated the ole girl with care (my truck), on the spot and reasonable cost to boot! You can bet I'll make the call to these guys again! read more

John B. from AC towing literally saved our lives. On a Wednesday night my friend and I drove two hours to switch cars with my sister who's jeep had been in the shop. She lives in Nevada so we met half way in Placerville. We had dinner and headed home in opposite directions. My friend and I are headed back to the Bay Area. My sister calls me 30 mins later and her jeep broke down and overheated and she's on the side of the road. We turn around to go help. When we pull up I turn my car off to help. We attempted to move the cars to a turn off and then my car would not turn on!! Not only that the headlights were turning on and off on their own the car was POSSESSED. We got to her at 10pm but it's 30 degrees out we have no heaters and everyone we know is 3+hours away from us. Triple A was NO HELP and gave us an eta of 4 hours. We called CHP and they said they would call a local tow agency and John showed up even BEFORE CHP. He was SO friendly and helpful. He helped get the cars to the gas station and even helped us deal with triple a and finally find out that they weren't coming that night and we had to get a hotel and call in the morning. It was 3am by the time the whole ordeal was over and probably 25 degrees out. CHP showed up and left but not John. He made sure we made it to a hotel safe. He was kind, friendly and saved us three girls from the freezing cold when we were literally stranded. THANK YOU JOHN. read more
