Quick, Friendly Coffee Stop in the Heart of Winslow's Famous Corner…read moreWe pulled into Winslow on a relaxed Sunday afternoon after a long drive, mainly to hit up the Walmart for some essentials. While we were in the area, we decided to grab coffee at this spot right on the bustling corner tied to the "Standin' on the Corner" park, the one immortalized by the Eagles' "Take It Easy." (Think: Glenn Frey statue, flatbed Ford, giant murals, and Eagles/Route 66 vibes everywhere.) The barista was genuinely welcoming and super accommodating. We asked for sugar-free caramel macchiatos, and they nailed the customization without any hassle. Both drinks were really solid: smooth, well-balanced espresso, and they hit the spot after hours on the road. The location itself is what makes it stand out, it's smack in the middle of a very touristy, lively intersection packed with Glenn Frey and Eagles memorabilia, gift shops selling Route 66 souvenirs, statues, murals, and photo ops galore. If you're already there snapping pics with the "flatbed Ford" or the bronze Glenn Frey tribute, it's super convenient for a caffeine fix. That said, it can feel a bit hectic and very geared toward tourists with lots of people milling around. If you're looking for a quiet, locals only cafe vibe, this might not be your scene. But for a quick, tasty drink while soaking in the classic Winslow nostalgia? It was exactly what we needed. Would definitely stop again if we're cruising Route 66 through northern Arizona. Friendly service + good coffee + prime location = win.

They are huge and delicious and you can get them smothered with cheese or bacon or whatever. They also have breakfast items, crepes, salads, sandwiches, ice cream, and some pretty fancy coffee drinks. Now about those hot dogs: We tried the Take It Easy dog (ketchup, mustard, diced onions) and the Kansas dog (bacon, cheese, and BBQ sauce). The Take It Easy may have standard toppings but the dog and bun are excellent. The Kansas dog was supreme. The dog, bun, and the toppings were fantastic. I don't know why the little town of Winslow has such good hot dogs but it just shows you never know what you may find.

If I could review this place negative stars I would. I literally at 1440 hours on 12-29-2025 walked…read moreout of this place in disgust when some bald guy behind the counter acted like a total jerk to a bunch of would-be paying customers for the crime of looking for coffee during business hours and a nice couple apparently looking like they planned on moving to HIS town "from California." I called in with my daughter and her friends and their mother followed by a nice couple. The guy running the place cautioned us that we would be his last customers before they closed (again 20 minutes before the 1500 close time. He coulda stopped there but nope. He decided he wanted to be rude AND insulting. He looks at the nice couple and the group of my friend and her daughters and says "I don't even know where all you people are coming from, you definitely don't live here" the male half of the couple responds with "we are actually getting ready to move here" and our hero, says "probably from California like the rest of the town" The guy responds with "absolutely not sir. No commies here" after that I had enough and me and the rest of our group left. Couple pointers. 1. If you would rather not accept customers 20 minutes before close move your business hours to close 20 minutes earlier. 2. Customers are paying you for coffee and treats. Not to be condescended to or insulted. I'm gonna take this to Google and everywhere else because apparently Ol' boy doesn't like customers or money, so I might as well let people who would rather not be treated like shit in exchange for the crime of being a paying customer during business hours.
