Oct 2023 Stopped in for a spell since we were in the area for dinner. The decor looks nice and the pig theme works in a cute way. We skipped on the drinks in the pig glass though. It felt like a tequila night. I do like that you can bring your own food into the place and they had some nearby suggestions as well in house via QR codes. We both decided on the WAP and they were pretty good. For the second, I wanted something different but along the same lines so I asked the bartender for a dealer's choice of tequila and citrus. Usually, that'd mean something created or different at least but what he served was another WAP. While I like the drink, that wasn't what I was aiming for. Either through laziness or just lack of care of the customer, I'd rather not go back if that is the level of service. At least at this point I can check it off the list. read more

Bartenders are always a joy to talk to, best drinks (they'll even make fun custom ones for you!) always somewhere comfortable to sit, really great ambiance, and they are always putting together fun nights to get the community together, which I can definitely appreciate as a young person trying to live in Sonoma county. Chef Noel makes the absolute best smash burgers which is "pop-up style" out back during bingo night. Third Pig Bar is such a great addition to downtown Sebastopol! They have a pig theme and some drinks come in pig mugs, which is super cute! They have high end craft cocktails that are absolutely amazing! The decor is very modern and trendy. They have seating at the bar, some tables and a lounge area near the back of the bar. I stopped in for their New Year's Eve event, which was so much fun! They had a dance party with a DJ, midnight balloon drop and specialty NYE cocktail menu as well as a fun photo booth area. There was a $10 cover to get into the event. I hope they do this event again next year! I can't wait to come back soon and try another cocktail! read more

STAY AWAY from this place. Last Friday, (Oct.13th,) my friend and I had decided to meet up for a drink since we haven't seen each other for a while, and decided to check out this bar. We went during happy hour around 5 PM to which there were a few people inside the bar. We decided to sit at the bar and check out a menu. My friend decided to get the margarita on their happy hour menu and I went ahead and ordered a daiquiri. Kid, you not, the bartender, who served us, LITERALLY made a drink and poured it into two different glasses and served it to us. I could not believe what I had just seen & the service we were experiencing. I am not certain if he was just being simply lazy and didn't want to make two different drinks, or if he was new on the job and didn't know how to make a daiquiri. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and didn't question the drink, but once I saw that he was taking shots with his friends and brother, ( as he yelled multiple times that his brother was at the bar,) I knew that he was definitely not fit for the job. Even though the ambiance of the bar was aesthetically, pleasing, and had great decor, I will be taking my business elsewhere. The lack of customer service that this bartender portrayed was just simply disappointing. P.S ** I had heard that this bar sucked (from some friends,) but didn't want to judge before I tried it out myself. Definitely lives up to that definition. Also, the aesthetically pleasing pictures you see on the yelp reviews is not what you receive. It's far from that. read more

I had the pleasure to visit this location a few months back. Probably one of the nicest services I've ever received from a bartender. Michael, you're the best bartender in the place! I can't wait to return and try different cocktails. And the atmosphere was fantastic! I loved it all so much that I asked the bartender to take a photograph of me, but I looked silly in all of them but he did capture a good photo from his viewpoint. 10/10 recommend!! read more

My girlfriend had been in this place a few times before but I haven't since it changed names. We were out shopping last night and decided to stop for a quick drink on the way home. I ordered a small batch bourbon on rocks from the menu that was listed at $8 and she had a golden state cider. The bartender couldn't find the bourbon so I told him that was Ok just substitute anther bourbon. When we went to leave he said our bill was $25 even! We thought that was pretty high but paid. I asked what bourbon he had served me and he showed me a bottle of cheap bar rye - not even bourbon. We won't be back. read more

I would highly recommend this bar. The atmosphere and ambiance of it are pretty groovy. The mixed drink menu is full of intuitive and thoughtful recipes. The young man Michael and the owner Alex were bartending at that time and had so much to say about the menu and what they served. Michael even made me something called the Princess Elena? Sooooo we've been to this bar a few times already with hopes that it would get better and was still going through some growing pains. We decided to meet up with a group of friends last Friday night for drinks before our dinner reservations. My BF and I were the first to show up, the bar probably had 5 others inside. Right off the bat the customer service is probably the worst I've ever had. The bartender(Mike C) looked at us and then continued to talk to another customer. Let me rephrase that, he was totally working his magic on this chick, fully engrossed with conversation. We waited a few minutes and found a bar menu that was left behind him. We finally got a head node and asked if we could order a drink. Long story short, the bartender continued to only focus all of his attention to this chick, he even brought out his custom cocktail recipe book and said he would make anything she wanted. That's how focused on her he was, I had time to listen to all of his conversation with here while still waiting to at this time close out my check. He was so distracted he messed up on ringing up our tab and actually voided it and charged our drinks to our friends tab when that's not we asked him for. I understand some flirting and trying to make a connection but don't forget to actually DO YOUR JOB, it's called multitasking. Just really disappointed with the terrible service we get every time we visit this establishment. Hands down the best bar staff in Sonoma County. Danielle, all the bartenders and servers are the reason we've become regulars. We'd follow her anywhere she goes! We are so excited to have a proper cocktail bar in town where the cocktails are unique and the classics are always made right. My wife just tried the new Oh Sheila cocktail which is great. The wall behind the bar is filled with many bottles I've never seen before and I try something new most times I come in. You can talk to any of the bartenders for excellent recommendations. It is a bit like Cheers where the people working there really make the place. The decor is...interesting. Best seats are at the bar. My Second visit was almost exactly like the first;. less than 5 customers, the bartender was not just unhelpful, but rude. The environment is disjointed, there was a large mop and bucket right out in the open, so appetizing. The music was too loud for a conversation, and it was hard to tell if the drinks were good as there were people smoking cigarettes in the back like it was the 80's. I was REALLY trying to like this place and brought friends both times. Sebastopol desperately needs a sophisticated drinks spot. This isn't it. We abandoned our drinks and crossed the street to Goldfinch where greeted warmly with eye contact and smiles, served beautiful cocktails and the bartender checked in to make sure the four of us were happy with our beverages. read more

I was so excited to try this new trendy bar in Seb and it did not disappoint!! The interior provides a fun and modern style which makes it easy to want to stay a while. The bartenders put their skills on display are proud of their cocktails and they do not disappoint!!! This use to have a cool, hip, urban feel to it with its sleek industrial design to go along with it's quality drinks, beer selection and music. Now it feels like some suburban chain gimmicky theme bar. Everything that was cool about Mothers Ruin has been stripped away...not for me I'm afraid. One star for the nice bartender.
