Beautiful studio, amazing people. Emily is the artist I made an appointment with by messaging her on her instagram @emtatuajes. She is amazing, one of the best artists I have ever met. Not only is her work as a tattoo artist beautiful, she is extremely understanding and communicative. She made me feel very comfortable throughout the session and truly listened to me when talking about the details of my tattoo. A few of the other artists who work at third energy were there as well and they were all very nice. You can tell everyone there is supportive of one another. I definitely recommend coming here!
Shawn pierced my daughter's helix for her 12th birthday and did such an amazing job. He made us both feel very welcomed and walked us through the entire process. His cleanliness was a 10/10 and his workspace was in pristine condition. We will definitely be going back to see Shawn and 10/10 recommend him to all.
He offered to fix the green earring. However I came into the shop twice to get this fixed and both times he was out. It was painful and super green. After that I went to another shop and they fixed it- not to mention they fixed it free of charge. Cleaned my ear really well and got me new, better jewelry. Said this happens a lot with this place. My experience was not too enjoyable. The day I got pierced I got 2 piercings in my ear. Like a week later I went out of town and my ear was super hot to the touch and swollen and ended up in the ER where the backing to my earring was also broken. I messaged Sean and he said that shouldn't happen and they were lying. So between him telling me that the first earring wasn't cracked and that the doctor and nurses lied to this one turning green and having to get it fixed elsewhere, I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone. Not to mention the TONS of passive aggressive messages I got from him on Yelp after the last review of this place.... or from "Billy." Either way, I wouldn't ever come back here and would advise you to go elsewhere. This place was a local recommendation and I regret even getting said recs from people and regret coming here. My ear wasn't healing and constantly hurt despite me properly cleaning it all the time. Since it was replaced at the other shop there is no pain at all. I'm still cleaning it and all but I think it was just poor poor quality from the start.
Shawn did my daith piercing! The customer service was great! He explained everything very well. My sis in law did her first daith piercing with him and went for the second one so I decided to join her. I'll definitely be back!
Daith Piercing Treatment: Third Energy Tattoo & Piercing (Shawn) After suffering with migrane headaches for about a year, I learned of a procedure called the Daith Piercing Treatment. I had tried medication, chiropractic, massage, and acupuncture help without success. When a hospital staff employee told me that Shawn at Third Energy Tattoo & Piercing could help me, I contacted him. After reading and hearing about other clients who who found relief from daith piercing performed by Shawn, I made the decision to drive over four hours to have the procedure. Shawn was so kind and caring that I trusted him immediately, and I liked his jewelry collection. When the piercing was completed, I was amazed that my headache was immeadiately gone. That night I slept with no pain. It was comforting, also, that Shawn messaged me to check on my well-being. The trip was worth my time, and I continue to be amazed at the awesome results.
The Homie Shawn came through with his profession. Good dude, rad dude. He did my nose stud in my photo. I recommend him to anybody. He also did my girlfriends septum. No pain for me. Thanks BIG DAWG.
I brought my 9 year old daughter to get her second hole pierced by Shawn. Her bestie came too for her first hole. Shawn was professional, knowledgeable, and was very caring/concerned with the girls. He made sure they understood what was going to happen and showed/explained everything to them. He made sure they were comfortable and still wanted to get pierced. Everything was very clean and sterile. He was great with the girls. Made them laugh and called their nerves. Such a great experience for the girls as well as us Moms. Highly recommended !!
Shawn is an awesome piercer - professional, quick, very sanitary. He immediately put me at ease and did a great job working with me. I appreciate how he made me comfortable. His workspace was clean and everything was sterile.
My 11 year old daughter and I came in to get our ear lobes pierced and I was so impressed with the shop! The staff was very welcoming while we waited for Shawn to finish with the client before us. When it was our turn, Shawn walked us back to his station, checked our IDs and had me fill out the appropriate forms. When we were finished with that, he helped us pick out our jewelry, explaining all the choices we had with no pressure to upsell us on more expensive pieces. Then it was time to get down to business - every step of the way Shawn meticulously cleaned, then unwrapped the piercing tools and the jewelry we selected. He carefully marked our ears, I was very happily surprised to note that he used calipers to make sure his markings were centered. He explained every step to me and my very nervous daughter and was extremely professional. His aftercare instructions were very clear, printed, and he even went the extra step to explain HOW his method of cleaning would work. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend Shawn or return for future piercings. As a mom, it was a great experience to take my daughter to a clean, professional shop and know that she was in capable hands and in an extremely sanitary environment.

Talk about a really cool, chill place. When you first walk in the building is nice a clean. Great artwork and atmosphere all over. I went in too get a tattoo by Church and man I wasn't disappointed. This guy can definitely tattoo. I got a wolf on my thigh and it's a pretty descent size. Church did it within an hour and it's clean sharp and beautiful piece. The other artist were pretty laid back as well and cool too talk too. Definitely going too return too this place again, and would recommend it too everyone! read more

Shawn is amazing! I posted a review in September when I got my Daith pierced but it seems to have been taken down! So not only did I not feel it, we were talking and laughing and I was like are we ready. Shawn says it's done! I had a migraine pain scale of a 10/10 and when I left there it was gone and I have not had one since... I did a lot of research before choosing Shawn, I will never go to anyone else! I also want to add that my piercing has not turned green. It has healed up nicely by following the very explicit after care instructions. It was never sore, nor did I have any issues sleeping on my piercing. read more

Shawn helped relieve me of migraines with the Daith Piercing. He was recommended by my Doctor. Although hopeful I was still skeptical if it would work on me since occipital nerve block injections every two months as well as other meds weren't cutting it for me. Some people saying it does work and others that it didn't do anything for them. In my desperation of finding any kind of relief I messaged him and he promptly answered. Went in to the Shop, got it done and literally cried thanking Shawn as I was getting up from the chair in disbelief that I was in no pain or discomfort in my head other than the sensitivity of the piercing. THANK YOU Shawn! Thank you a million times read more

I went here to see Shawn about a nose piercing on Friday 6/2 and also wanted to inquire about the daith piercing since I frequently suffer from headaches. Third Energy is very clean and they acknowledge you right away. Shawn is very nice, professional and informative. I was concerned about getting the daith piercing right then because I currently had a headache that I had had for 4 days but decided to go ahead and get it on the side where my headache was. He did the nose first, it hurt but not terribly bad then he did the ear. Not gonna lie, it did hurt but seriously only for a second because he is so fast. He made sure he explain how to care for the piercings and also that I felt ok before leaving. And also--my headache went away as soon as the piercing went through and it still hasn't returned. If you're interested in piercings I highly recommend Shawn @ Third Energy! read more

One of the cleanest shops I've been to. Went in for a piercing and Shawn should be everyone's first choice. He is clean beyond measure; he sterilizes all materials needed in front of you to ensure you're getting the best piercing possible. His demeanor is so calm and relaxed that it rubs off on his clients. My sister and I have gotten pierced by Shawn and we wouldn't go elsewhere. Post care instructions are clear and easy to follow. His jewelry selection is amazing! I have very sensitive ears but I have never had any negative reaction with his jewelry. Definitely high quality! If you have any questions, message him! He is quick to reply and answers any and all questions you may have. Would definitely return! read more
