Drove AN HOUR to get there from LK Isabella. Had an appt and wanted a new nose piercing (it had closed after taking jewelry at MRI 2 days ago). But "Sean" who has done piercings TWICE for me said he couldn't do the work cuz I left my driver's license at home! I was pissed as I am a good customer and have been there before. I am 71 yrs. old but was told I needed to prove I was over 18 yrs. old to get a tatoo. REALLY? At 71 I have to have a license to prove that? Just ridiculous. Will NEVER go there again (I brought my past jewelry/posts but some short blonde chick said she had to sanitize the posts b 4 I left. I said NO THANKS but she wouldn't give my post back until it went into sanitizer for SIX minutes). Don't appreciate my jewelry being taken hostage and NOT returned to me when I asked for it. This place IS NOT customer service oriented AT ALL. read more

I took my daughter for a piercing here because I was told how nice this place was and that they offered a variety of jewelry for me to change out my forward helix piercings. The first time we attempted to get pierced we were turned away for not having an appointment but I was directed to their website to get one set up. I had my daughter do the honors while I drove us home. A week or so later and about 40 minutes prior to our appointment are around the corner and I receive a reminder call where I was told that I'd need to have some form of ID for my minor daughter. That was going to be difficult as I was already down the street and had no idea but thank goodness I had just left her school orientation and had some paperwork with me. This place is so nice and clean inside. I love the color of the walls and the way it's set up inside. The staff are friendly and helpful. But the jewelry is so pricey! I picked out a gold bee for my Tragus and was quoted $230. I decided to wait on the new tragus jewelry and just switched out my 2 helix pieces for super small titanium diamond studs. It turns out that I also needed new posts since I had screw ins and this place offers pop ins so those were $15 each. All together for my daughters forward helix piercing and my jewelry my total was just over $200. Not too bad actually. It gets pricey when you start getting into the 14k gold pieces as I asked about a gold industrial bar and was told the balls are about $80 each and the bar around $230! The lady that pierced my daughter's ear was name Ivy and she was nice and knowledgeable! She gave us full instructions or aftercare and answered any questions we had. Definitely give this place a try especially if you're shopping around for new jewelry as they have a nice selection. read more

My daughter got her ears pierced. The service was great. They have lots of options for the earrings. Know that if your child is allergic to any kind of metal they use titanium hospital grade jewelry. My daughter had two bad experiences at Claire's. Now we are happy thanks to premier piercings. She can have earrings. read more

First time coming to this piercing place! I went in to replace my rook piercing jewelry with titanium because I had stainless steel previously and the cartilage was just rejecting the metal. I have been coming to this studio for about two years by now and there is literally no better piercing shop in Bakersfield. the staff is always phenomenally kind, willing to help out and answer any questions one may have. I haven't had a single issue with any of the piercings I have received from the staff (highly recommend Sean or Ivy). their prices are a bit on the higher end for jewelry, but it's always appropriate and necessary for the piercing so I think it's a good trade off for how wonderful the place is. really can't recommend enough!! read more

UPDATE: Made an appointment with Sean for today a few weeks ago. This time, it was for what may be my final piercing - one below the belt and of a sensitive nature. Sean was very patient with me as I made sure that the placement was exactly where I envisioned it. I also brought in own jewelry which he sterilized and utilized. This piercing was probably one of the least painful ones I've ever had (which is shocking) and I am so happy with my results. The workers were nice and the store was clean, but I am pretty disappointed in this shop. For starters, EXTREMELY expensive and the shop was not upfront about total costs (including earring backings and downsizing backings). I went in to get my other nostril pierced and purchase jewelry. Initially, they mentioned they were booked for the day for piercings, so I just did the jewelry switch for my purchase. I went online shortly after leaving the store and they had the last appointment available for a piercing. I returned and got my other nostril pierced. I can't say enough good things about Madii and her team. I've been to her for about 5 piercings now, and lots of jewelry changes. She provides prompt and friendly service, gives expectations and cleaning care protocol, and she's all around rad. Her girls up front are so helpful with recommending jewelry. Came in with a friend for the Black Friday special and had a great experience. I will note that we did have to wait for about 2.5 hours because of the waitlist due to the special but it was expected. Front staff were attentive and provided great service. Sean and Madi are amazing at what they do. I had my ear lobe piercings done by Sean and my friend by Madi and both were friendly and made sure this experience was as quick and comfortable as possible. The worst experience of my life. I wish I was exaggerating. I went to Sean to get the vch piercing. He didn't pierce me with a long enough bar, my skin healed over the ball. Went to see him because I notice the piercing looked as if it was pushing out. (Didn't realize at that point it was healed over) Sean tried to push the piercing through my skin, the most painful experience, and no luck. I have been to three ERs and 3 clinics since leaving the shop. Nobody is willing to take the ball out due to the nerve damage this can cause. Currently found a doctor at kern medical willing to do the procedure but I was warned I may never have any feeling in my clit again. The fact Sean knew my hood is a little thicker than most (his words) he should've pierced me with a longer bar. Or maybe I didn't have the correct anatomy for it and he pierced me anyway. I'm assuming he has no experience with the piercing and just wanted to make a quick 100 bucks. Now I could be dealing with a life changing experience. I just got the ball removed, I had to get my vagina sliced into. I am in so much pain this is not even funny. I am not the one to write reviews especially go out of my way to write a bad one but I feel like this needs to be known. I am in so much pain this is not ok. I do hope that this does not cause nerve damage or any other damages to my vagina. read more

I went in to have my ears re-pierced since my holes closed up. The front desk woman was extremely nice and helpful. She showed me all the jewelry options and helped me pick the best one for me. The gentleman who did the piercing was clean, efficient and patient with me. He was able to just poke the needle through my old holes and he didn't charge me a new piercing fee. My 13 yr old got her ears pierced here a few months ago and the piercer did a great job. However...When we came back in to get the earrings removed, both the piercer and clerk failed to tell me that what he was doing to her earrings was called "downsizing" and that there is a charge (per earring) for this!!!!! How would I know this, it being my first time in a piercing shop? The girl at the counter asked if I had been told this and I told her "NO, (which she was completely aware of) ...isn't it part of the piercing service we already paid for?" She just said "no." shrugged and turned the screen around to have me pay $40!!! I was so irritated. I would never have done that had anyone explained to me what he was doing and how much it was. When we had the service done I was told to come back and they would swap the earrings out etc. and at that time I did ask of we had to pay extra and was told, no. I would have pulled the earrings out myself! I feel really violated having not been informed of this and certainly believe I should not have paid this. I feel like it was purposeful and careless. Sadly, I wont go back nor will I recommend this place because of the misleading I experienced and lack of reasonability taken on behalf of staff. read more
