I finally stopped by Third Culture Kitchen, a place I've passed countless times in my neighborhood, and I'm glad I did. I ordered the Baja shrimp taco, a cup of creamy poblano soup, teriyaki veggies, corn slaw, and the black beans and rice--mostly to get a sense of portion sizes and flavors since it was my first visit. The Baja shrimp taco was the standout. The flavor was excellent, and the cool, crunchy slaw paired perfectly with the shrimp. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. The portion sizes were solid; for lunch, I can easily see that one taco with a side would be more than enough. I also appreciated how many vegan options they offer--it's great to see a menu with so much variety and flexibility. The restaurant itself is cozy and inviting, with a friendly ambiance and artsy, metro-style decor that makes it a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy a meal. The only small downside was that some of my items weren't quite warm enough, but it didn't take away much from the overall experience. Okay I'm super bummed. This used to be my favorite restaurant in Titusville but we just had a very bad experience. Besides everything feeling like shrink-flation and getting smaller each time (fried cheese order quite small and piña colada drink was 4-5 sips of liquid in a full glass of ice) I just got served chicken instead of tofu. I ordered the sticky garlic tofu bowl (server didn't write it down) and didn't realize until after biting into it that it was chicken. When I asked the server what it was she said chicken so clearly her mistake, not the kitchen. She said she would remake it with tofu but then came back a few minutes later and said they were out of tofu. Okay. It's in like 7 of your dishes but okay. They made it with avocado instead but also forgot 3 ingredients (green onions, fried shallots, and cilantro). My husband finished eating his meal by the time mine arrived so he watched me eat. I don't know what has changed but it's always been a good restaurant and we enjoy the food. But our last order everything was completely over salted and I even called about it because we ended up throwing it away and the person who answered said that they had similar taste experiences complaints recently and asked if we wanted our order replaced and I told her no way because obviously they had problems that were expressed by others too. Needless to say they lost us as a customer because of it and she was supposed to credit half of our order in a refund but it never happened. read more

I can't tell you how many times I've driven passed Third Culture Kitchen and slept on it! Finally, my vegan friend suggested it while she was in town and I'm so glad I finally went! I had to go to cocoa for work and already knew I was making a detour to Third culture kitchen for some Baos. The staff is always friendly! My only complaint was that when I drove up on the restaraunt I did a circle because I could not tell it was open from the outside. When chicken salad Chick nixed their chicken poblano soup it was a sad day for me but this place did not disappoint in the soup department other than the fact that they are so far away from where I live. The Bao buns are full of flavor and so is their salsa. The restaurant is small and intimate but casual. Third Culture is amazing! We went for the first time last weekend and were blown away by the selections. The pork belly bao is delicious and well balanced, the margaritas were top notch, and we were even impressed with the chips and queso. The chips seem to be house made, and the queso was not your typical processed cheese product, it was fresh and delicious and hit the perfect notes of spice. Their tacos were also delicious and loaded with toppings. Their sides were unique and flavorful, from the house fries to the slaw to the rice and beans. Overall Not Great: Prices a little high and food not as good as expected, but maybe that's because it was a Sunday night. Drunken Noodles (steak added): Pretty good but expected a little more protein. Shredded Chicken Tacos: A little dry and burnt and white rice the most bland I have ever tasted. It reminded me of a bag of white rice from a supermarket. Greek Salad: Very low on the tomato and very long on the onion. Lettuce and cucumber wasn't super fresh. It was okay. One weekend we did a bit of exploration in Titusville, and were looking for a nearby lunch spot. Third Culture Kitchen is what we chose and we were not disappointed. They have a wide variety of food here in Latin and Asian fusion type options. With that they have fun mixed drinks in a cool modern vibrant setting. We sat in the back corner. What makes this four stars is the ventilation system. It's not very good and I can smell the food and smoke and it was a bit too strong and even stung my eyes. I don't know if anyone had that issue sitting in a different space, but I could definitely tell. Once our food finally came out, I forgot about all of that. We both enjoyed our food a lot and were quite impressed. I loved my korean bbq shrimp bao buns and fried green beans. I even had to get bao buns elsewhere after that lunch. They didn't measure up to this one. My hubby enjoyed his chicken chimichanga with queso. He was impressed they had quite a bit of tasty chicken rather than rice. Extremely diverse menu --hard to decide WHAT to get because everything looked delicious, and everything coming out of the kitchen was mouth watering. Went with street tacos and shrimp tacos--I will say the portions here are ENORMOUS but almost too much because everything just fell out of the tacos & shells fell apart pretty quickly. Service was good & the prices are VERY fair for what you get; if I lived in the area, it would definitely be a place I'd frequent regularly. This is a follow up to previous review, sent email to Sienna Howard as she requested. As of today 9/22, We haven't heard back. I sent a note to Sienna stating I wanted to talk to the owner or manager and that I had requested that back on 9/12, I had left my name and number with the kitchen manager. Back on 9/22 Sienna asked if she could sent a digital gift card to me and I gave her information. Nothing . Not sure if there's a communication problem or we just don't care. I know if it was my business I would want to speak to the person making the complaint, guess that's not the way people do business anymore Update: sad to say that I seem to only get a response from the restaurant when I post on yelp. We were contacted via email and we were sent a digital gift card for $50. I sent the gift card back and told them no need to call me back as I had previously requested. A disappointing lunch. Complementary fried winton strips to snack on while waiting for order was mostly broken up over cooked crumbles with maybe four or five strips. My wife and I ordered Ginger Salad with chicken. Both were delivered without chicken. Waitress dropped the bowls off and failed to check back to see if food was satisfactory. Thus, I had to go back to near the kitchen to tell the waitress that they failed to add chicken to our salads. When asked about another salad dressing, we were told they also had a jalapeño sauce which I chose. Found out later on the bill that I was charged an extra $2.50 for that on top of $14.99 for a rather small salad. Overrated restaurant! read more
