OMG!!!!!!!!! #crystallballclean My car was so clean after Mr. Bob Goines detailers finished, that I saw every scratch, dent knick, small impression, flaw and chip on my car; I almost cried; joy or horror, idk, lol. He did a WONDERFULLY GREAT job on my vehicle. And we won't even talk about the inside of the car. When I sat on the seats I felt like I should've slipped off that's just how shiny-looking, smooth & conditioned the leather was as a result of his cleaning. The carpets were vacuumed and shampooed very much to my satisfaction; I no longer had the smell in my car of whatever food item I wasted. The carpet was vacuumed so well, I couldn't see a speck of dirt. Annnnnbnnndddddd did I mention, he even vacuumed out the trunk oh my, #wheretheydothatat? I have found a little piece of car detailing heaven in Metairie on the service road and his name is Mr. Bob Goines; this place WILL BE a staple in my life from this point forward. #WatchWhatITellYou. I am going to recommend him to anyone with a listening ear that asks me about car detailing. For the nominal fees that he charges, you feel like you're driving in a brand-new car when you leave there. Hello #livingsocial marketing done very well because now I will be a faithful customer. He's flexible on setting appointments or even if you are a walk-in; he'll you take you. He won't steer you wrong, he will tell you if he's not able to do the work in a timely fashion. He does car detailing for some of the major car dealerships in the area, so of course he has to be expeditious when processing your car. Been in this business since 1982; thank you Mr. Bob for your hospitality while I waited for my car. Such a kind, respectable man. I'm a little too busy and lazy to wash my own car (plus I have no hose connection on my house. Weird, huh?), so I searched for a manual or touchless carwash. I found On The Spot through a Google search, and decided to give it a try because it's close to my work. I called and spoke to Tyrone. I think he's the owner, and he was very accommodating about getting my car scheduled quickly for a simple exterior wash. That particular service isn't listed on their standard menu, but Tyrone quoted me a reasonable $50 to hand wash and vacuum. When I arrived at my appointment time, I was promptly greeted and invited to wait inside in the AC (thank God) while my car was washed. I left my car where it was and went in. The waiting area is simple but comfortable with a TV playing some recent NBA game. It wasn't long before I was being called back out because my car was done! It was surprisingly fast, and my car looked great! I had even asked if they would apply a tire dressing I had brought myself, and they did it with no problem and no extra charge. Overall, I'm very happy with the service and value of On The Spot, and I'll be using them for my regular car washes. I think I'll explore the detailing at some point too. The location is a little buried in the Clearview/Veterans area behind the freeway entrances, but it's worth the hunt. Thanks Tyrone!

For some people, this wouldn't be too bad, but considering I travel up and down the US at least twice a year and have two dogs who love to shed, it was a pretty big ask for anyone to tackle that interior. Was it more than I wanted to pay? Yes. Did it need it, and so I agreed to it? Also yes. I called and was able to get in the same day that I wanted to sell the car. It took almost an hour and a half to really get in there and get it all cleaned out. However, everything looked so beautiful when it was completed. I brought a book with me to wait in their nice, air-conditioned waiting room. I'm not going to say that the car looked as good as new, but after 11 years with two crazy dogs and 154K miles? It was pretty damn impressive. The guys there were great, and the service was well worth it. I even got top dollars for my very old car. Thanks, y'all!
