Brandon does a terrific job. He communicates via text, shows up on time, and our cars look fantastic when finished. Highly recommend !

Excellent work. Very professional! Highly recommend. Easy scheduling and worth the price. Look forward to having him detail my suv again. Looks brand new now. read more

I can't recommend Slate Detail enough! My mom's car was in need of a detail and after reading reviews on Yelp! (Of course!), I decided to book an at home appointment with Slate. If the at home service wasn't enough for convenience, the Slate team offered next day appointments which was perfect for my mom's schedule. We booked the Refresh Package for her SUV and at $140, it was definitely worth it. Brandon was the detailer who serviced my mom's car and he had it spotless and free of the black smudges especially from the drivers side mirror that was recently "tapped" by another car. Brandon arrived and finished on time, and was very professional. I highly recommend Slate Detail for your car washing needs. I will definitely book again! read more

Called on Friday, got appt for 8 am Saturday! for interior cleaning (we had an entire med root beer spill all over the floor, including under the passenger seat, when we had to cram on the brakes for an idiot cutting in front of us. He cleaned the entire interior and the 5 year old car looks good as new inside now! He used cleaner on the carpet that had enzymes in it to get rid of the sugar and root beer smell. THANKS SO MUCH!!! We will use Slate again read more

Did a great job detailing my model 3. I got the enhanced (middle tier) cleaning and it looks like new inside and out. He also did a great job with my parent's Subaru ascent. Pictures attached! read more

Fantastic!! We had two of our vehicles detailed inside and out by Slate and they did an excellent job!! They do mobile detailing so they came to our house. They had everything they needed in their truck and finished both vehicles ahead of schedule. They are both immaculate! They were professional and organized. I definitely recommend this business!! read more

I have used several different detailers over the years, to a variety of results. I've had good but overpriced details, unprofessional people just looking for "easy" money by doing rushed details, and detailers who have surprise upcharges. Slate Detail is none of those. On their website, each detailing package clearly lays out the services included at that price. There are no surprise charges, unless you count requesting a service that isn't included as a "surprise" charge. He offers mobile detailing for a slightly higher price than his on-site detailing, but that's understandable. He's punctual and professional. And I was impressed that he brought his own water to wash the car with for my mobile detailing appointment; he's the first and only I've seen do that. He's competitively priced and did a great job. read more

simply the best: always a great job, always on time, always really pleasant to deal with in person- highly recommen!

The service and quality are too notch. My car, which was covered in dog fur and had dirty seats, looks like I bought it today! Amazing service and experience. read more

Brandon did a damn fine job at a reasonable price. He finished the car right on schedule. His work on the interior was REALLY good. She looks almost new (as Brandon said to me, "I'm not a plastic surgeon." Maybe not, but pretty close! read more

I just got my SUV detailed yesterday for the first time since having a baby and let me tell you, I wasn't sure if anyone was going to be able to get the job done. It took me a minute to find his place but he was waiting for me and waved me down and called after I drove by his place (thanks). Brandon is a professional! He offered me water and an AC office to sit and work. I decided to watch. My car was a mess after driving from Indiana to New Orleans. Road grime, bugs, dirt, you name it he took his time and did a great job! He uses only the best car care products. Brandon is a great guy, super nice and thoughtful. Brandon did such an amazing job on my chevy Cruze! He was also very courteous and accommodating to my schedule (was willing to let me pick up the car after hours because I worked late). He was waiting outside when I arrived and gave me a time estimate after doing a quick check of the car. Overall a great experience and my car came out of it looking amazing. I'll let the pics speak for themselves though! (FYI these reviews aren't solicited or anything, which is something I wondered myself. But nope, just a genuine 5 star experience!) read more

I don't get my car detailed often (maybe every 1-2 years and possibly not since the pandemic), so it was definitely in need of some care. I'd never worked with Slate before, so I chose their package for new customers. They come straight to your house, and they were even early for my appointment. My car feels like new. I wasn't even sure that was possible with things like my steering wheel, which had 7 years of wear and tear, but the entire car looks and feels amazing. Seriously, just sitting down in it the next day made my smile. I'd forgotten what a clean car felt like. They're quick, efficient and did an excellent job on my SUV, so I'd definitely trust them with it again. read more

Absolutely the best detailer, ever. From start to finish, the service is excellent. When I scheduled, they were booked about 4 weeks out. They're busy because they are really THAT good. The process was professional and very easy. I appreciated the reminder email the day before. Brandon was on time and took exactly as long as he estimated. Brandon takes pride in his work and it really shows. The bonus is that he's a really nice guy. My car now looks better than the day I took delivery at the dealership. I have 2 small kids and ivory leather interior, it was well lived in before Brandon worked his magic. There isn't a speck, streak, or strange chemical smell. It's just a perfectly clean, sparkling car that I am excited to drive. I am thrilled to share his card with my friends and neighbors. I have never had this kind of excellent service with a car detailer. Thank you, Brandon! I am one happy customer. read more

Beyond pleased with the service on my 7 y/o car. I haven't really gotten it detailed, or frankly washed much at all, over the past few years, so I got the Ultimate Detail package. I have no idea how Brandon did it, but I can't gush enough about the attention to detail and thoroughness of his work. It almost looks like a brand-new car. I will definitely be back. read more

My car was a sissy and now looks brand new. I used to hate driving my car but now it is a pleasure.

They did a wonderful job! Come to you, are prompt and professional! They have a waitlist so sign up in advance!

From the minute he picked up the phone, it was obvious that Brandon is someone who takes great pride in his work. I took my car to Slate Detail because I was about to give it to my Dad to drive, and it was important to me that the car look fantastic when handing the keys back to the guy who raised me. Brandon went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that everything was perfect--even the car's engine bay, which probably hadn't been cleaned more than once over the twelve years I drove it. In short, I couldn't have been happier with the quality of Brandon's work, and on top of all that, he is a family man and a genuinely nice guy. I am happy to give Slate Detail my highest recommendation. read more

Simply Excellent. I had the seats and console out to run wiring, so I could have areas of the carpets cleaned that are not usually exposed. I also had break dust on the mags. The care is 35 years old, I told Brandon, this was the focus of this cleaning, and not worry about anything else. I got the car back, Wheels perfect, ALL the interior perfectly redone. EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS as always. Signed up for my other car this morning. AWESOME WORK. Such attention to detail. You will NOT be disappointed. read more

I accidentally left all my windows down in my Honda during a nasty rainstorm and my car interior got soaked and started to smell mildewy and musty. I called and Brandon arranged to meet with me to look at my car to see what he recommended before I scheduled. He was so friendly and helpful! He got me in earlier than normal to help me out, he was really accommodating and when I picked up my car, it was so fresh and clean. The water was all vacuumed out and he used the ozone treatment to destroy the mildew and odor. I'll be back again for sure! Amazing quality service! read more

I had been looking for a good detail company on Yelp and came across Slate Detail. I couldn't be happier with the way my car turned out. It was like a brand new vehicle! I called Slate Detail and got Brandon on the phone. He was friendly, professional and super easy to work with. I booked my appointment with him over the phone and he came out on a Sunday. You can also make appointments online too. He was even nicer in person and his attention to detail was amazing. I had spilled a huge Starbucks coffee in my center console and coffee got inside the air conditioning buttons. It was sticky and the knobs weren't turning well. I told him this and he said he could fix it-no problem. I also had some scratches on the back trim piece that he was able to get out. I really am so impressed with the job he did! I can't recommend Slate Detail enough and I will definitely use Slate Detail on a regular basis to clean my car. read more

I can't say enough great things about Brandon and this company. I left my sunroof open during a tropical storm. My car was soaked and started smelling quickly. Slate was completely booked but Brandon made arrangements to meet me earlier than they normally open to squeeze me in. I got my car back that afternoon and it was completely cleaned; water and mildew gone. It's been several days now and everything is just as perfect. They were accommodating, friendly, and performed a great service. That combination never happens! I won't go anywhere else. read more

Brandon the owner is great. He did a terrific job. Was very service oriented. Car looks beautiful!!

The service was excellent, as usual. There's never any judgment for the toddler's food caked into my car seats or layers of dirt after transporting my dog. And at the end, it comes back to me squeaky clean, with stubborn stains out and all. 10/10. read more

My SUV needed some major TLC after years of collecting dog hair, stains on the cloth seats, etc, so I chose the Ultimate Slate. When I first called in the explain the car's condition to Brandon and that I wanted to get it ready for trade-in, he was patient, friendly, and thoroughly explained what he would do and how to book. His location in Mid City was super convenient for me to drop off, and six hours later my car looked (and miraculously smelled) brand new! Sparkling clean inside, outside, and under the hood. As a woman, I appreciated how Brandon was extremely responsive to questions throughout the process and after without ever talking down to me or over explaining. Highly recommend Slate! read more
