When I scanned the coupon, it only showed a $3 discount but the attendant was quick to resolve the issue. Even though the $13 wash does fine, I could tell the difference with the $16 wash. My car/tires/rims were noticeably shiny afterwards. One of their selling points is free use of the car vacuums. The vacuums don't have a lot of suction and it took me forever to vacuum my entire car. I think I'll skip that part moving forward.

If the at home service wasn't enough for convenience, the Slate team offered next day appointments which was perfect for my mom's schedule. We booked the Refresh Package for her SUV and at $140, it was definitely worth it. Brandon was the detailer who serviced my mom's car and he had it spotless and free of the black smudges especially from the drivers side mirror that was recently "tapped" by another car. I had no intent of washing my own car or wait in the heat for a hand wash by someone else. So I opted to try something new. This was my first time going through a drive thru car wash and I was pretty satisfied by the outcome. I got the express wash for $8 and there was an attendant at the machine to take my payment. The drive through for the express option took around 5 minutes and I was out of there. By the time I got home, I realized the roof of my car had some type of film still on it, but for the most part my car was clean. Overall, for the price, it was more than half the cost of paying someone to hand wash my car, and my car was pretty clean. If I need another car wash in a hurry, this will be my go to. Location is pretty convenient on Veterans and besides drive through, you can also wash and vacuum your own car. There are other packages/upgrades you can purchase. I think the most expensive car wash was $16 and vacuuming is free with washes.
