WHEN I TELL YOU (and yes I know the CAPS LOCK is on) MY CAR HAS NEVVVVVVVVVVVVER BEEN THIS CLEAN IN ALL THE 7 YEARS IVE OWNED IT!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!! #crystallballclean My car was so clean after Mr. Bob Goines detailers finished, that I saw every scratch, dent knick, small impression, flaw and chip on my car; I almost cried; joy or horror, idk, lol. He did a WONDERFULLY GREAT job on my vehicle. And we won't even talk about the inside of the car. When I sat on the seats I felt like I should've slipped off that's just how shiny-looking, smooth & conditioned the leather was as a result of his cleaning. The carpets were vacuumed and shampooed very much to my satisfaction; I no longer had the smell in my car of whatever food item I wasted. The carpet was vacuumed so well, I couldn't see a speck of dirt. Annnnnbnnndddddd did I mention, he even vacuumed out the trunk oh my, #wheretheydothatat? I have found a little piece of car detailing heaven in Metairie on the service road and his name is Mr. Bob Goines; this place WILL BE a staple in my life from this point forward. #WatchWhatITellYou. I am going to recommend him to anyone with a listening ear that asks me about car detailing. He's flexible on setting appointments or even if you are a walk-in; he'll you take you. He won't steer you wrong, he will tell you if he's not able to do the work in a timely fashion. Purchased a Groupon for an SUV at Bob Goines. I picked up the car 45 minutes ago (5/13/23); terrible job. I have fingerprints to wipe down, bugs on the front of the car they didn't wash off, dirt on the floor mats and seats. Overall, for what I paid for the Groupon, I overpaid significantly. I can get a cleaner car by running it through a $10 car wash and vacuuming it myself.There are streaks/missed spots from the ArmorAll. I will be running this through a car wash and vacuuming it myself to get the car clean. Further, I will take some ArmorAll and fix up the spots they completely missed. Oh, did I mention that there was some hand sanitizer in the door pocket that had spilled a little? They ignored that and didn't bother to wipe it, or ArmorAll it. I had a feeling there would be a problem because I bought 2 Groupons for each of my cars. When I called to schedule, I was rudely told that I could not do both on the same day; I'm not sure why this was the case, since Bob Goines has already been paid for both. I overlooked the rude receptionist thinking that she wouldn't be detailing my car and that I really didn't care if she was rude as long as my car was clean. I should have cancelled the Groupon and gone somewhere else. I have already cancelled the other one. If you want to spend a lot of money for a still dirty car, Bob Goines Detailing is the place to go. If you want a clean car, look elsewhere. read more

Bob Goines always does an incredible job detailing my cars. He and his crew pay very specific attention to detail and leave their cars looking brand new. I have been amazed more than once with Bob's ability to remove stains and restore a car's showroom appearance... and his prices are extremely reasonable. Mr. Bob is super nice! Our car was cleaned thoroughly and smelled fresh afterwards. All the dog hairs we had were basically gone! Just like that! It was magical! My car has cloth, black interior and my dog has white hair... I was able to drop my car off and Mr. Bob took me home. Then when the car was finished, one of his really nice employees pick me up! I love the car service because i did not want to stay there for four hours. Definitely recommend this place. Took my suv in for the first time yesterday to get it detailed. Car detail was just ok but wasn't the best. There's still some sand in my trunk from my vacation they didn't clean up well. Whoever detailed my car stole $2 out from my console. I know $2 wasn't much but why even do such a thing? This will be my first and most definitely my last visit!! Very disappointed read more

I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews here, but I'm pleasantly surprised! They did a really good job! I had a groupon and expected that they would slack because of it. They did better than the last place I paid regular price for. The only places they missed was the inside the trunk and the center console. But they even got the stains out of my back seat that were practically baked in. My car was ready in just over 3 hours, and they called me once it was done. Very much recommend this place. read more

Bob Goine was a respectable, friendly gentleman. When I dropped off my vehicle he was outside with his employees getting the job done. The receptionist was friendly and accommodating. The exterior of my vehicle looked fresh off the lot. The interior could have used more attention to detail. One of the door jams was not cleaned and there was a small area of carpet that had not been vacuumed among other minor errors. The carpet looked perfect and the leather looked new. The receptionist was outside with me as I looked over my vehicle to make sure everything was in order. I don't know if she was outside for the cigarette she lit as I pulled off or to accompany me as I looked over my car; either was she was greatly appreciated. Considering the price and the outstanding customer service, I will likely return to Bob Goine's Detailing for my future car care needs. read more

I have never had a vehicle professionally detailed before so I was a little nervous and didn't know what to expect. My 2010 Chevy Malibu was looking a little shabby. Found a Groupon and decided to give it a try. WOW they were amazing! I highly recommend this place. I am no longer ashamed to let someone see my vehicle. Purchased a car detailing Groupon for Bob Goines' in Metairie, LA. The front desk staff was obviously very annoyed we were using a groupon and rescheduled us for the next week even though we had just spoken to them and gotten okay to come by 1 hour before. When the service was actually done we got hit with an added $50 fee bc they found a dog hair in my car (I have dogs who never ever get in my car. It must have come off my clothing). They did not tell us beforehand or call us to tell us, it was just charged on pick up. Furthermore the car looks and SMELLS awful. I kept it very clean and nice smelling before as I'm very sensitive to smell. It smells as though they obviously used dirty mop-ish water to wipe down my car and it absolutely reeks. There are streaks all over the inside of my car where you can see they swiped a dirty rag over it once and that's it, including all over the steering wheel (how did they miss that?) it does not look detailed at all on the inside or outside. There are obvious smudges and dirt caked up. AWFUL! Yes they washed it - poorly - and vacuumed it... for $150. However it was absolutely not "detailed." Have I mentioned it smells awful? ‍ read more

A few issues. 1) The receptionist asked if I had a dog; she stated that would be a $50 extra charge for cleaning up the pet hair...as I was stepping into my ride home. That would have been nice to know when I made the appointment or prior to handing her the keys. Now I keep a cover on my backseat where my short-haired dog sits, so there really wasn't even an "excessive" amount of pet hair. 2) She stated it would take approx 3-4 hours for the car to finish. Ok cool. I called at the 4.5 hour mark. It was not done. My question, "is there an estimated time it might be finished by?" was met with an unprofessional response, and there was no estimated time for completion. Which makes it hard to plan your day around. 3) Picked up the car, did not accept credit card though it is listed to 4) Upon inspecting the detail job, surface level it looked great. However: - all the interior was greasy - my interior smelled slightly of spoiled fish - there are GIGANTIC water residue stains on my headliner - the engine bay was NOT even touched (which should be included in the complete detail) - visors/overhead light are still not clean - patchy trim gloss PROS - offers Groupon for $100 (on a typically $200+ service) - the floors are incredibly clean - they attempted to get out a nail polish spot on my backseat - trunk looked fantastic - exterior had a mirror shine finish FINAL THOUGHTS - Overpriced!! I'm fine w/ the looks of it based on the fact I used the Groupon. However, had I paid $250 instead of of $150 I would've been incredibly upset. Annoyed at the fact there was a $50 uncharge, just due to the simple fact that I owned a dog... - Poor customer service from receptionist - Average attention to detail read more

Woman at that front desk is extremely rude. She said a Groupon will only give you half the work done because you paid less; and then refused to accept them. My family had been coming here for years, but no more. She mocks the customers and berates them. They said my car was dirty, but they seemed to make little attempt to fully clean it, with pet hair still present (though I paid the upcharge). I missed years ago when the staff was friendly, could look you in the eye, and would give you a full cleaning like it was brand new. read more

Don't look any further if you're looking for a dependable detailer. Bob Goines has been in business since 1981, so he knows a thing or two about detailing. When I dropped my vehicle off, there were quite a few cars there with dealer tags being detailed. He told me he'd have my car for 3 to 4 hours, and sure enough they called me when it was ready. He has a shop with quite a few employees busily detailing all day long.I'm very happy with the finished product and I'll definitely be back. read more

I debated giving this four stars solely for the price and the friendliness but I can't overlook the main issue with my car which is it wasn't fully cleaned. Outside my car looks great dealership shiny. However inside my console area wasn't cleaned well at all there were entire sections that weren't clean and the dash was left looking greasy and streaky. I would probably give them another chance and be vocal about my concerns. I'm sure they would have fixed had I said something however I was in a hurry when I left that day. I wish I could give them 3.5 stars. $145 for a full detail on an SUV and their same day availability for appointments was awesome. Don't let the location scare you away. Mediocre! My Civic was still dull after the Bob Goins Detailing. When friends took a look they asked if I ever waxed the car. I explained that I had it "detailed." "You've been had," a close friend said. In addition the all weather floor mats were dangerously slippery. The car had a funky odor as well. I recently bought a car and wanted it detailed to make it my own. It was clean but definitely had a thin layer of dust and grime all around. I used a $85 Groupon on a $135 detail. They had the car for 4 hours. The detail? Cherry-scented wipe down with baby oil. It was oozing oil all over, I had to ask for a rag to wipe it up. One compartment still had trash in it. Most compartments were still dirty. The entire area under the armrest was untouched. The floor mats unwashed - only vacuumed. For $85 (let alone $135!) I expected more. And this is an EASY car to clean. Tiny, relatively new, and super simple interior. The exterior "detail" was more like a regular carwash except now I have greasy fingerprints along both door edges and white goop in the decals. I'd used all my savings to buy the car and then a paycheck for repairs. And one last stretch for the detail. I'd been waiting on a detail for weeks. How disappointing. I spent part of my Saturday with q-tips and a needle and did my own detail. read more

i brought my car here about two weeks ago due to flood damage which I paid four hundred dollars . I asked the owner did he ever do work like this before . I believed him especially since he had 5 stars on yelp . I brought my car there Thursday morning and he call me Friday morning to tell me it was ready . Which that was kind of fast since I had to get my insulation changed dried out and shampoo deep cleaning . When I pick my car up I notice damage on the inside of my door panel and the foot step area also the paint on top of the foot rest . Mostly a lot of deep starches . When I brought it to his attrition he say he didn't know that happen but in a not so truthful voice . So we talk and decide I would go get a price for the damage . Finally when I got time I went to get the estimate . Basically I need a new inside door panel and anothe part that runs on top of the foot step area . On to pull my carpet up and it's still wet damp with with no new insulation and some of the old wet one . In kind of don't matter that he gave my my money back cause I still have to get the work done . So I am trying to find parts labor as cheap as I can for the owners sake. He was nice and said sorry but I've been riding with damp carpet while he assured me he was a professional . I did ask him a couple of guestions as to why he let this happen and if he bumped into a problem he should call me . So I'm going through the process of finding another detail and door problems . read more

Extremely impressed! I had a complete detail with the headlights buffed and the engine steam cleaned. All aspects were exceptional and extremely thorough. The best detail I've ever had on one of my vehicles. Seat stains were removed, all surfaces were shined without being greasy; same with the exterior and engine.
